Not gonna talk about Single Rank vs Dual Rank and how some laptop motherboards are actually treating each SoDIMM slot as 2 channels, provided that the correct type of Dual Rank memory has been installed? So this is more of a marketing pitch for brand names... okay thanks.
Thanks for showing ddr4 options for the people still using older hardware. The new stuff isnt worth upgrading to with how expensive hardware has gotten over the last 3-4 years.
Good video overall. Maybe next time maybe considre adding a short FYI sbout DDR4 and DDR5 being different standards and can't be used in the same laptop.

DDR4 is still widely used.
It will take a bit time for DDR5 to become the new standard.
Bro has no actual knowledge to share, just yapping
Sounds like an AI voice too.

Thanks for your suggestion.
We will make sure to do so.
@@Techfluencer Your welcome.
Why corsair hight price than team elite?
Did you just compare DDR5 and say its faster than the rest of the ram which is DDR4?? you can't compare them!
can i use 1 ram stick of 32 gb, using it replace my 8 gb one
No because you can't use dual channel
My Laptop has 4gb Ram but need urgent to upgrade in this case if I include 8gb Ram.is there any problem?
depends on your laptop CPU
At least try to get dual 8 gb so you can get total of 16 gb which is the standard for gaming and multitasking. Hope this helps!
Can i use ddr4 16gb with ddr4 8gb?
You can.
But it will get capped to 16 GB and you won't get the additional memory.
Memory is measured in MT/s, not MHz lol.
Thanks for your feedback.
WHy are we discussing ddr4 in 2024 again?
Because there are still tons of people who use that?
i have lenovo ideapad 510, only ram i could use ddr4
AI slop
It isn't.
DDR 4 in 2023? Are you Kidding?
While DDR5 is out there, plenty of people are running or considering DDR4 memories even in 2023.
Many laptops still use ddr4 this technology isn't ancient like ddr3
Normally you don't change your computer every year like underwear, I think DDR4 still has a few years left in use
I'm still using a 10th gen Intel laptop with a 20 series GPU and I don't plan on getting another new laptop until 60 series or later lol
Whoa there rich boy.
