@@frankrizzo7454 the hell are you on about? I swear people just don't want to be happy anymore, but I guess people like you think being happy is being dumb since I bet you don't even know what half of those words mean.
It's a shame that nowadays the higher-ups in BBC want every new companion to be from modern day Earth, hence why the forward-thinking, ahead-of-her-time Victorian era Clara was effectively retconned to be more of a plot device with the Impossible Girl arc. Clara was still quite good as a fast-thinking, witty companion (especially with 12), but I still think it could've been done much better with the Clara we first see.
I want to see a single mom with a toddler companion. The kid would have so much fun and have such a great child hood. The mom would look at every adventure with wide eyes but coward in fear every time she saw a situation put her child in harms way. After all these years wed be more than ready for our spin on the Tardis, but our children come first. Sometimes those little mess makers teach us how to live all over again.

That ending in Legend of the Sea Devils resonates and is one thirteen's moments that proves she has a lot of depth. The line "Everything ends and that's always sad, but everything begins again and that's always happy..." from the twelfth doctor carries over in that scene for me looking back. I like how in Segun Akinola's scores the music cuts out for some moments between characters and it's just the sounds, only for it to come back in the end.
So the new companion is named Ruby Sunday. I have a feeling that they are she and the new doctor are going to meet The Rolling Stones and she is going to be the inspiration for the song goodbye Ruby Tuesday. anybody else think that might be happening? Like the comment if you think so
This isn't about first adventures, it's about discovery and it is her first trip into the past and the scene chosen does centre around her taking that in. The weird inclusions are the exits, like Sarah's is literally her returning to a normal life, which is the opposite of discovering the whoniverse
Probably some of the best, most well produced video series I've seen on TH-cam. It was like watching a movie. Doctor Who makes it so compelling ... You can't help but root for him. 👍👍👍
21:40 Hartnells heartfelt speech is one of my favorite moments of who history! As a doctor he was sometimes cold, but he had a heartfelt love of his Susan! I'm really happy with how he was portrayed in "a journey through time and space"
Interesting. I see you included Mrs Flood as if she's a companion. I suspect she will be. She's not Ruby, She went with the Doctor right after telling him he looked like he'd lost a quid and found sixpence. They did something to do with Ruby's birth. Then they came back, and she sat back down and waited for Ruby. My guess for Ruby is that she's River's daughter.
0:30 who is she? I swear I've heard her voice before but idk where. Is she known anywhere else? Or am i just delusional? (Her voice sounds similar to the woman who played Jackie Tyler but im not entirely sure)
maybe she doesn't live in a polarized state of mind like some people - perhaps you? What you think is obvious and "facts" says more about you than about someone else. She was raised by a black mother and grandmother. Being black was nothing special in her own life.
While most people aren't afraid to just say black, when looking for a specific person who is black, do you truly find it unrealistic she mentioned he was hot instead?
Jamie was my favorite companion. The loveable guy from medieval Scotland.
Too much toxic masculinity for the blue haired marxists.

Jamie is from 1746, in the aftermath of the Battle of Culloden. Still agree with you on that Jamie is an awesome companion.

Elisabeth Sladen was always so lovely as Sarah Jane. 💓
It really is the greatest show on television 💙

If I were Sarah, I would have hidden somewhere in the TARDIS instead of going back home. 😊 Would the Time Lords have known?
@fgjsdfgjkl Damn. Thwarted before I even get to try.

Just a little comment to say Amy’s first adventure was in the Beast below
I don’t think they’re just doing first adventures

I‘m still waiting for an old Man - or perhaps a woman - with a blue box
What about Capaldi? Or Pertwee? Or Hartnell?
lol I can’t tell
If this is a serious response
Oh he was supposed to show me the stars, take me away, rescue me.
And then I grew up. Sometimes I wish I was still waiting for him

Wow I’m loving this.
You accidentally forgot to include footage of the companions from 1963-1989

@@joebrookscomedy Oh wow. 2.
@@lbricks7631 Your counting has really come on this year. But yes, I agree it's too few but I didn't make the video.
I'd rather the show wasn't more shat on with the classics being mentioned.
Ugh, Clara stand in.
Ruby's theme sounds like the Toymaker.
Well that’s alright then
You done amy dirty with this ngl
Bill 😢💕
Wow in a video about the wider doctor who universe its 90% NuWho, and the only 2 Classic clips are companion departures. Lots of discovery there.

22:00 but how did he know that David wasn't a psychopath and an abuser? It was pretty irresponsible of him wasn't it?
If anybody can show the Universe, it’s the Doctor Who.
The Doctor
good montage
The Doctor is the Peter Pan of sci-fi.

why are they acting so surprised they've been invaded like a hundred times
I want to go to there

hello
Ryan and Graham's exit?
Cool video
Boo for no Real Clara. 😒
She could have just said "a black guy in a leather coat". That wou.d have been more realistic. Not racist. Just stating facts.
