Ngl, I think what impresses me the most is how varied even the chorus sounds. A lot of instrumental covers, especially piano, sound especially monotonous since the vocal notes are so repetitive, but this song doesn't fall into that trap. Somehow makes it even more beautiful when you can just absorb the melody

This arrangement is the perfect balance between feeling hopeful, angst-ridden,sad and happy. I just can't describe well the sensation it makes me feel, like when I first listen to it (even though i've listened to the original song before), I started to dream about what I should've done different in my past , romances that never happened but could've if I took the first step, romances that didn't even begin because of rejection but what they could have become and not only that, angst for what the future holds for me while being hopeful that it will end well. It makes me remember dreams that were shattered by reality whilst makes me hopeful and angst-ridden for the dreams that I'm still chasing.

This is so damn beautiful, I can just imagine driving down a two lane high way through some mountains, and it's raining hard, and it's just you/ or your partner, and this song is playing. Then all of a sudden the rain slowly fades away as a beam of light crashes through the cloud up on you/ yourselves... then the clouds open up to a valley/ canyon surrounded between mountains that are green, and you just see the sun high above everything else, and you see the horizon with nothing but mountain tops that are full of green, with little to no vehicles out on the road, just you/ your partner.
I've experienced some similar this year - we were driving through Brenner Mountain Pass on our way to Toscania, sun rose after heavy rain and everywhere were a delicate mists, we were driving through beautifiul mountains and then from my playlist Koan "Alone In Canoe" starts playing (so I immediately switched to repeat). It was the most mystical and spiritual moment in my life - nature is so beautiful, we only need to feel it.

I found out about this song exactly 2 years ago and I'm still captivated by it.

Writing this at 00:55 while there is a thunderstorm outside. I recently tried my hand at getting my drivers lisence but failed the test. My next attempt would be in months which is after I move to start college 6 hours from where I live but today a new spot was available so I'll try again in 3 days. I know no one who lives there but I'm optimistic. Graduated highschool the 8 of june I do miss those people and I doubt I'll see many of them again, or atleast for a long time. Anthony and Ian recently bought back smosh and are returning to how the channel used to be. When I was younger I'd watch those videos with my best friend, we still hang out every now and then but the new classic like smosh video took me back and it felt great.
