An intp about romantic relationships: I have a distinction between romantic relationships and platonic. I know what's romantic for me and what's a friendship. First and foremost, the most important thing and difference is physical touch as love language.
Frr I am an INTP and my love language is physical touch too❤. Ig that's more the reason why i hate being touched by anyone, cuze i only want to be touched by my wife ❤
I have never turned a male friend into a romantic partner. I know I am not attracted to him therefore romance will never be on the table. I can, however, turn an ex BF into a friend. After I made a decision that a romantic partner no longer has long term relationship potential, I can scale back emotion and treat him as a friend. Once he’s friend zoned, there is no turning back. I have never taken any ex back. When it comes to romance, my infatuation (blinding period) doesn’t last long. Once my analytical and logical mind is back, I can be rather hard to fool. My biggest challenge in romance is finding a partner who is intelligent enough to not bore me.
Somehow, I missed this video...until now! 😎 INTPs do love discovery, but more in the broader realms of thought and creative expression. We *do not* appreciate mystery in interpersonal interactions. If I have to guess how you feel, it will make me uncomfortable. If they tell you this and you don't respond by being more forthcoming, the end is nigh. Deliberate withholding of information will be interpreted as a form of contempt. Not having it. If you yourself aren't sure how you feel or what you want, an INTP will be willing to help you talk it out, but that might be uncomfortable when we stumble upon your suppressed truths.
No wonder I have been living in solitude for over 10 years now. This really made me evaluate my past relationships and why I always walked away after few months.
All of this is true. Am working on my alone time needs with my bf, he wants to be around me all of the time. And I don't want to push him away but, its not been easy. ha ha ha ha
Why ? What about infj is so appealing to the intp ? Especially if infjs are more emotional, how do infjs get their emotional needs met w rational intps ?? I like an intp 😊

I’m an INFJ and I could spend hours talking in depth to an INTP about anything like religion, philosophy, history, the universe, psychology, dreams, the supernatural, people’s actions, films and even wacky and nerdy things like superheroes, cartoons, board/video games, books, random stories I create in my head etc. there’s NEVER a dull moment. Nothing is free from mental dissection. Talking with an INTP can easily fill an INFJs social need if the conversation is friendly, interesting and has depth, which is almost guaranteed with an INTP. Also remember that INFJs are still introverts, so they don’t need too much social interaction. They too, would favor being alone to recharge their energy levels and think and create. All in all, INTPs are awesome people who are easily misunderstood, but have amazing minds and unique perspectives. And once you open them up enough and they see you as a fellow thinker they can trust, they can be very caring and gentle, which probably surprises even them. If you ever get to that level of intellectual and emotional depth with them, you’ll find it’s one of the most satisfying and meaningful relationships you can ever have.

I don't get why so many of these things say INTP's are afraid of conflict. The reality is that a lot of things that people argue about don't really matter to us. What the f* do I care whether you think one restaurant is better than another? Or whether you think we should try this place or the other? If I don't care which one we go to why argue over it? Meanwhile try to argue something that actually matters- Like whether or not the Aspartame studies in rats should really be used as a litmus for potential developing cancers in the human body- then I'll be happy to argue.
My girlfriend an extrovert, forces me to do things that are way beyond an INTP boundary and it makes me feel so uncomfortable and when I fail to do so, she goes berserk on me with tons and tons of words and long essay messages and it's too much for me. There's was one time that she got pissed on me and she raised her voice on me in front of her friends, I felt humiliated but saved face to ease tension. I'm struggling with expressing my own thoughts in to words and she doesn't like it. We just had a fight last night and on a verge of breaking up but I love her.
I find it interesting that in all the images of the couples there was not one Black woman featured. All the Black men were featured with women of other races. Do you guys not see Black women?
