I've played "at" guitar for twenty years. Your teaching style is perfect for intermediate players looking to clean up their act and become an asset to a band by playing solid clean rhythm guitar.
I could follow and get everything for the first view and I am a beginner. That speaks volumes of your abilities as a teacher. Plus free chord chart? Amazing tutorial from a generous teacher.
It' s marvelous to have such a high class lesson by a teacher full of passion and patience! Pleasure to learn with you, cause you have conquered the chords with your spirit, heart and fingers. Thank you!
I like how you break it down. Way more organized than I. As a Jerry fan, I find myself being too chaotic at times with guitar learning. You and Tommy Emanuele have been teaching me a bit of order which I desperately need :) Thanks for the vid.
yeah, ORDER...the really great guitarists have that in spades, but until you grasp their craft they just make it look so easy. we know it isn't, we are looking at SKILL
I’ve been following the Sunday morning videos for a while, but have only just discovered these fantastic tutorials from Toni. The advantage of watching these videos rather than just playing the chords from a chart is that Toni shows alternate ways of forming the chord or damping the strings. Toni, I can’t wait to work my way through more of these. Meanwhile I’m zipping over to Patreon to sponsor you guys.
Paused at 52 seconds in...getting my Breedlove guitar out...thanks for covering this, Toni...saw the video of you and Reina doing this, and am glad to see you covering this in a tutorial...trust that you and all those you love that surround you are doing great!
Well, I have to say, that was the most entertaining four hours I've spent in a long time. Everytime I thought I had it, it fell away. I have scribbled the chords down on the front of the dictionary. Even the cat looks unimpressed. It's the diminished D and C7Bflat 6 string chord configurations that throw me every time? Great arrangement however, I shall look at again tomorrow with a fresh set of eyes. Unfortunately, I am a bass player trying to adapt for better or worse after too many years. Worse probably. You are the best at this discipline I have seen on the internet Total Respect, take care
Just joined the community and am filling my snow day with watching you play, and thoroughly enjoying myself in the process. Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
Really great you're sharing this with us!!! I just picked up my guitar and watched you lesson for about 20 times! I also love you and Reina playing killer queen together. Thankyou!!!
Viewers I'm respectfully requesting sponsoring Ms. Toni & Ms. Reina. They give us so much pleasure & Love with their fantastic music. Let's give something back for all their hard & great work. Perfection is NOT an accident, & is NOT cheap! Thank you! ❤️
I have ALWAYS loved this song. I've worked on it many times but ended in frustration because the key, voicings, and guitar positionings were always too complex. You laid it out and explained it well, you are such a great teacher too!! Love your other videos too (like the one where you girls are performing this song🙂), but this one really got me right in the 💖 💥💣👍
... talented teacher... I red.... oh yes... best teaching I can remember.... no word too much... exactly the right repeating to follow... thank you so much.... like your playing... like the your music... and you such a sweet little lady💕
Hey Toni, I love that you’re doing these lessons. One song you do that I’d love to learn your style on is Jambalaya. You were awesome on that song; I’ve never heard it done that way. Hope you’d do a lesson on that.
Stellar lesson. On a whim I wondered if I could maybe adapt this amazing song to acoustic guitar. I thought I’d probably have to watch several videos and take the things that worked for me… but here’s a perfect video and lesson nice and tidy. Thank you! Very well explained, and it sounds great!
Really appreciate you posting this...I’d watched the video of you and Reina playing this iconic song and It was fab. I really like the way you guys can take what I consider to be quite complex songs and distill them into a form that mere mortals like I can understand. 😀
One of the great women musicians of this 21st century. I wish that her gift and talent will be recognized by the world. Congratulations for your life purpose! Carlos Salles'.
I'm a beginner learning how to play this song and I thank you for your great tutorial. I purchased the chords and I hoped to find the chord chart with the indications about where to place the fingers (very helpful when you're learning) but some are missing.
I must have been channelling Ms. Lindgren, because I was thinking: " I Wish Toni would create a channel teaching some of her VAST guitar moves... Voila' & I find this! Thank you! ❤️
This is an amazingly well composed lesson, mic levels, sound quality, that Martin guitar, the overlays, strumming patterns, licks and your ability to concisely explained it all. I love your studio set, so pretty. Also humming the solo 👏, such great tips all the way through. Instant favourite, subbed, look forward to more if it’s this damn good! wow!
Don’t have any idea how to play a guitar. Yet it is great to watch Toni who is in control of of the music. Kind of like watching paint dry in a forest fire. Yep.
Killer Queen is an awesome song!!! One of my favorites! and I believe it was Queen's first hit? Thanks for the lesson! Love your Martin. I have one as well but not as good as yours but..it still sounds great 🥰🎸
Toni, I hope people appreciate what you are doing. It's amazing and a great way to communicate with your fan base. I will, respectfully say though that Killer Queen is just one of many songs you can strum on guitar. I invite you to hear the entire album of Sheer Heart Attack and Night At the Opera. There are a lot of songs that you can adapt: Bring back Leroy Brown or '39' are just two examples. Thank you for doing this.
You're such an excellent teacher, Toni! 👍I never realized just how many chords are in this song, or how they're constantly switching! 😜 You make it look so easy.
Wow what an easy natural flow for guitar lesson.
Toni is a true artist.
I agree!
I've played "at" guitar for twenty years. Your teaching style is perfect for intermediate players looking to clean up their act and become an asset to a band by playing solid clean rhythm guitar.
I could watch you play all day every day. Great stuff.
Thank you! That a virtuoso player like yourself would share your insight with us mortals is inspiring.
I was going to ask for a chord sheet and then checked the Patreon site and, of course, found one there waiting for me! Even better!
What a nice combination of attributes... a genius and a teacher who happens to be patient and kind. What a rare bird :)
Rare bird IS also a great band but i think you got mixed up something here ;)
You are an awesome guitarist. So please have your own guitar teaching vlog.
What a ridiculously talented young lady. How refreshing.
Wow, thanks for breaking this song down. Your direction and flow is so easy to follow!!
You and Reina killed it today with this piece! Keep it up!

You are such an amazing guitarist. Probably in my top five favorite guitarist. Thank you so much for what you do.
It' s marvelous to have such a high class lesson by a teacher full of passion and patience! Pleasure to learn with you, cause you have conquered the chords with your spirit, heart and fingers.
Thank you!
Hi.. You are a great guitar teacher... Amazing talent.. Good to see you teaching us in many gospel songs. From Northeastern India.

Only minor quibble I have with it is that the song is *not* in 4/4. It is actually in 12/8.

Love your Martin. I have one as well but not as good as yours but..it still sounds great 🥰🎸
