- Applying CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 and CaoPro Gliss I know this is a longer video but you are not going to want to miss this ceramic coating video! This is one GREAT ceramic coating that applies very nicely and gives INSANE amounts of gloss and depth to the paint. The user experience that I had using this product went far beyond my expectations and and the end result is absolutely breath taking!

LOL that is very true! I do use Car Pro Reset for every wash and reload after it all cleaned up every other wash. You're welcome brother!

Always use 3.0 unless customer requests another. The Gliss helps out as well. Did my truck the same way. As well as bike. Nice color by the way! Its poppin!😎

Good video bro ,I knew that’s what you were gonna be adding. I love the stuff the gloss and hydrophobic properties are amazing. Watched the whole video washing mine (wife’s)in the garage this morning. Probably already have it but definitely recommend reset, elixir and ech20. Car looks great and super happy for you ,that gliss made me feel the same way the first time . Now I’m stuck on coatings there is absolutely nothing better.

Man that Daytona looks amazing! I just bought a Indigo Blue 2020 Daytona and I applied Cquartz lite and was very happy with it. I topped with Reload and it came out great. I also have been using Elixir as a drying aid, which is a really good product as well. Where did you get the front stripes for the grill? They are a nice addition. This was a well done video.

great video just ordered CQ UK 3.0, will be ceramic coating a new ‘23 C8 Stingray, I have a few swirls probably from the Museum Delivery Prep, what would you recommend to fix a few swirls, I’m not an expert, thanks for the video.
Hey, love the video! May I ask you how was the buffing off process of the ceramic coating. How many towels did you need to use for the application of each layer and was the towel clogging up quikly. I am personally scared of the ceramic coating starting to cure on the towel and potentially scatching the paint. Thanks, my first application will be next month and you help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks I appreciate it! When buffing off it was a bit tacky and then turned into being as smooth as glass. I used six towels per application and never had a problem with them clogging just make sure you are using a towel designed to remove ceramic coatings. Don't be scared of that because that will not happen it will take a full 24 hours for it to harden so scratching will not happen. Just take your time and it will all turn out great. I'm in a dilemma . Was planing on buying the Lincoln Nautilus this week. Last night I saw the New Bronco. Now not sure if I should order the Bronco. I'm getting older. So I would like more comfort. Do you have to use the car pro bliss on top ? Or is this something that is optional that will help the cq.uk3.0 in the sine you was talking about ?
Also once you go to wipe it off do you have to press firm or light ?
No you do not have to use the Gliss on top. It is always good to use a topper like Gliss on the ceramic coating to add a a layer that can get the brunt end of the weather elements that way the ceramic coating will stay nice and healthy. It wipes off very easy with light pressure and ease with an amazing amount of slickness. Hopefully that all makes sense and thanks for watching and commenting! 🐝
Do I need to use an Astro light to check for flash. What about a small portable LED light?
Any kind of extra hand held light will work just fine you do not need to have an Astro like mine.
The valeting and detailing guy local to me did my coating for me after prepping. He gave me around half a bottle back from a 50 ml bottle and said he coated everything twice, including windows apart from the windscreen and the alloys. I have a ford kuga 2018. Do you think he did it properly or applied two coats as i expected him to use more product?

Hello, I would say yes he did apply it correctly because I also still have over half a bottle left as well and I did two coats. I would say that a 50 ml bottle will easily do two medium sized cars. Hopefully that helps and makes you feel better and if you have anymore questions let me know. How many minutes after the Carpro Gliss application is ready for buffing with microfiber
For me and the conditions when applying it was right around the 5 minute mark. 🐝
What were the temperature/humidity levels in your garage at time of application?
It was roughly around 60 to 65 degrees and our humidity is always crazy low and just in the teens.

Thanks! I did not have a lamp either but I did wait 48 hours before applying Gliss. It is an awesome combo that delivers amazing results!
How many bottles of Cquartz UK did this car take with two coatings? ? 3/4? 1? 1.5? 2?
It only used half of the bottle to do two coats on this car.
Can I use Gliss as top coat after two coats of CarPro SKIN in a satin black wrap for extra shine and make the color darker?
Yes you can but it is going to add a lot of shine to the satin black wrap. 🐝

Hi did you apply on headlights plastics too?
Yes I did. It is always a good idea to apply what ever kind of protection that you are using on your head lights to help protect them from UV ray as well as your paint. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🐝
Do you get water spot etching on the gliss coating? I applied it last week and it rained 2 days ago. Water spots are taking some elbow grease to rub off..
I have and still do. That is interesting that you are as well. I did a video on CarPro Spotless and in that video you can see the water spots. They do take a bit of elbow grease to remove but if you are using a water spot remover they come right off.
@@MeanBee392 to be honest , I never would have used ceramic if I knew it was prone to water etching. It’s a high maintenance product

What is the recommended time to apply gliss? I have a 2 day window.
I was thinking to wash, decontaminate, polish, then coat with Cquartz, and then gliss. Then next day is a baking day in the sun
They say you can apply Gliss 1 hour after the coating although I did wait 24 hours before applying it.

I believe that is what CarPro mentioned in their instructions if I am remembering correctly.

For the second coating how many hours you wait to apply the second coating.
I waited a full 24 hours before applying the second coat and then another 24 hours before applying the Gliss. 🐝

Also, why didn't you ceramic coat the vinyl? Wouldn't that prolong the life of the vinyl and make it pop even more? I know carpro has a coating for vinyl.
You can but I was saving that for another video that I used CarPro Skin ceramic coating made for vinyl.
did you do two coats of cquartz and one of gliss?

For me I would have to say MTM Hydro PerFOAMance for the main reason I feel that it is a well rounded soap. Great suds, lubrication and cleaning power. 🐝
