그냥 제 생각인데 1층의 도련님들은 동네냥이들을 간간히 마주하고 있으니 오들이가 내는 소리나 냄새를 동네냥이라고 여긴게 아닐까 싶어요. 반대로 오들이는 2층 생활이다 보니 소리와 냄새는 있지만 동네냥이들을 제대로 마주한적은 없을테니 궁금증만 마구 늘고 있었을테구요ㅎ 그러다 안전하게 마주할수 있는 상황이 되자 1층 도련님들은 '머임? 이거 왜 집안에 있음;?' 하고 경계하고 얼타는거 같고, 오들이는 '드디어! 직접 너희들을 보는구나!' 하고 호기심을 채우려는것 같구요ㅎㅎ 스트릿 경력이 있다보니 어느정도 친분관계? 사회생활?도 있었을테고 새로운 고양이 만나는게 경계도 해야하지만 도움도 된다는걸 알겠죠ㅎ 워낙 재밌는 상황이라 맘대로 상상을 해봤습니다ㅎㅎㅎ

I guess it's no surprise that the boys with the least amount of "new sibling" experience were also the feistiest! Miss Audrey and Hyuji had a whole seminar there. 😂 (Also noticing a few English comments voicing concerns, and I think it's worth noting that the closed door is still the default state. The goal is to gradually increase the amount of open-door time, but I'm sure Mejoo and Soo will gauge the cats' reactions and adjust accordingly. At the end of the day, it's nice that everybody has their own territory to retreat to if needed!)
문득 보다가 생각났는데 방묘문 위치가 참 절묘한 것 같아요! 도련님들을 반가워하는 오들이는 면봉휴요가 올라오면 영역 가까이에서 쉽게 볼 수 있는 위치고, 경계가 강하고 아직 오들이가 낯선 면봉휴요는 '스스로의 의지'로 계단을 쭉 올라가야만 오들이를 볼 수 있고 불편해지면 바로 피할 수 있죠. 이렇게 조금씩 인사하다보면 언젠가는 아침인사정도는 야옹해주는 사이가 될 수 있을까 작은 희망을 품어 봅니다ㅎㅎ
It is also wild to see Audrey rubbing herself on your face and thinking back years to when you first saw her and she wouldnt approach you at all! To think this street cat has become such a plump, affectionate house cat! She has found her forever home with you guys!
Cats are so silly, I love them so much. I also can't stop smiling over Audrey's interactions. The boys may not know what to think, but she is being so social and interested in them. It's great there is no rush and they can just explore and talk at their own pace, as long as you and Soo don't mind all the meowing!
You are doing such a great job with your cats! You can tell that Audrey has had more interactions with other cats; She's being verbal, she backs off to show she's not a threat and rubs her head to show she's friendly. So sweet to see how she comes to her butlers for support and gives them head rubs too! Audrey clearly trusts her new family and I think she's very tsundere, complaining for the sake of it. If she wasn't comfortable, she would've already run away to hide and avoid the door, like she did in the beginning of her journey. Keep up the good work, Mejo and Soo! ♥

Aww, Monji was such a sweet gentleman and didn't hiss at Audrey. Although Hyuji did hiss a little bit, he had a good conversation with Audrey. I loved the subtitles in the video they made me laugh. Thank you. 😁😁
Her raised unpuffed tail is a great sign. It’s not aggressive at all. She’s wary but friendly and just letting them know she’s not a threat. The boys will present far more of an integration issue than Audrey. Being an outdoor cat she was probably far more socialized to cats than people. It took separating my cats like this for about a year. I took in my sisters cat after she passed and she had never been socialized to other cats. I did total separation for about 3 months, partial separation similar to this for about 3 months. Then for 3 months she had limited access in the open but only when I was home. After that for about 6 months she had full access, but still had a safe space she could go to that my cats couldn’t get to. Then after it was full access and she found a new territory within the home to call her own. There were only 2 skirmishes. She was the victor at 9 lbs against my 18 lb male who had never fought. He actually didn’t fight her back. He dropped and rolled and basically avoided. He looked at me like what is this all about? He ended having a huge crush on her later and grieved terribly for about a year after she passed away. She passed from cancer just like my sister. ✌🏽♥️🙏🏽
To be homest, this, and the last video, was a pretty great introduction. No aggression or anything serious. Hisses are expected. But Audrey even came super close to Monji and they sniffed each other with not problem. They didnt even try to hit each other through the door :D
Audrey has come such a long way, being more affectionate and extroverted and rounder as the days pass ^^ I can't believe how well she has blossomed, it's so wonderful to see her progress.
I’m so proud of Audrey for not hissing and being so calm and confident. It was so funny that Hyuji would hiss but he kept coming back to talk to her. 😅
Wow, Audrey seem to have turned up her charm 100% 😄🥰 She is rubbing on the door, she is head butting mommy, she is talking a lot to her brothers. I think the boys are intrigued but intimidated because she’s an outsider in their home. I think Hyuji and Monji both seem cautious and curious, the fact that Hyuji came up multiple times to check on Audrey shows his curiosity. If the butlers have the calm energy then the cats pick up on that energy and stay calm. I think Mejoo and Soo are being calm and their voice is also relaxed so the cats know it’s not a dangerous situation. Keep assuring them in a calm and serene voice so they know they are all safe. They can keep meeting like this for now, unless the boys show anxiety or stress then you can go back to the old setting, but if they take it positively then maybe you can start feeding them treats together on both sides so they associate it with good things. The easiest way to win a cat’s trust and mind is tasty food 😊❤ Good luck to the kitties! I am looking forward to Wednesday video.
Kakok rubbing her whole body against Mejoo's face made me so emotional, especially thinking back to about three months after rescuing Audrey, them wondering if she would even be able to unlearn her feral ways.... and here she is! Excited about the boys, and unconditionally loving Mejoo and Kyungsoo!
Audry is so sweet and cute, she kept a positive attitude to meeting them all even when some of the boys weren't so welcoming. I wonder if Audry is older than Yoji
This is wonderful! Monji likes Audrey and Audrey seems to like him. I think Audrey might like Hyuji because they both are cautious and like to talk a lot 😂
I hope the boys will warm up towards Audrey. I think she could be missing the company of other cats. I don't know if she hung out with other street cats before she was rescued but it's likely. I can't really make a true comment without English subtitles, but I hope this makes people realize that it isn't as easy as they think to introduce several cats to each other Audrey might've been positive somehow but it's clear MBHY are having none of it, but with time and positivity maybe it can help them become even just a bit closer even though they won't be able to share the same room I'm worried about Hyuji though, I hope this doesn't result in him overgrooming with stress again after a brief skin with English subtitles I hope the door being open more often will allow MBHYA to become a bit closer, they might get more used to each other if they keep seeing each other
Hyuji may get stressed, but this approach allows the other cats to decide when they want to see Audrey. Bonjii looks like he had enough for now. Audrey was very appropriate, rubbing her face and shows she was marking her territory (that includes Meijoo😂😂). It’s going to take time. A lot of time.
This might be a good time to try the old "food on each side of the (gate) door" cat hack to get Audrey and the gang to associate one another with something rewarding. Might speed things up a bit and break the ice between them. Doesn't even have to be full meals, just some yummy snacks.

Wow, Audrey seem to have turned up her charm 100% 😄🥰 She is rubbing on the door, she is head butting mommy, she is talking a lot to her brothers. I think the boys are intrigued but intimidated because she’s an outsider in their home. I think Hyuji and Monji both seem cautious and curious, the fact that Hyuji came up multiple times to check on Audrey shows his curiosity.
If the butlers have the calm energy then the cats pick up on that energy and stay calm. I think Mejoo and Soo are being calm and their voice is also relaxed so the cats know it’s not a dangerous situation. Keep assuring them in a calm and serene voice so they know they are all safe. They can keep meeting like this for now, unless the boys show anxiety or stress then you can go back to the old setting, but if they take it positively then maybe you can start feeding them treats together on both sides so they associate it with good things. The easiest way to win a cat’s trust and mind is tasty food 😊❤ Good luck to the kitties! I am looking forward to Wednesday video.

Kakok rubbing her whole body against Mejoo's face made me so emotional, especially thinking back to about three months after rescuing Audrey, them wondering if she would even be able to unlearn her feral ways.... and here she is! Excited about the boys, and unconditionally loving Mejoo and Kyungsoo!
The fact she's become so suddenly better after meeting the boys especially makes me think she recognizes that the humans care for other cats well.

Audrey seems pretty comfortable to me even though, she's yowling. Haha. Hyuji is the most curious and worried out of the bunch. Monji is tired haha

I hope the boys will warm up towards Audrey. I think she could be missing the company of other cats. I don't know if she hung out with other street cats before she was rescued but it's likely. Looks like it, judging by her body language when she saw the boys. Fingers crossed for Audrey, please welcome your new adorable sister, boys! 💗
I can't really make a true comment without English subtitles, but I hope this makes people realize that it isn't as easy as they think to introduce several cats to each other
Audrey might've been positive somehow but it's clear MBHY are having none of it, but with time and positivity maybe it can help them become even just a bit closer even though they won't be able to share the same room
I'm worried about Hyuji though, I hope this doesn't result in him overgrooming with stress again
after a brief skin with English subtitles I hope the door being open more often will allow MBHYA to become a bit closer, they might get more used to each other if they keep seeing each other
Hyuji may get stressed, but this approach allows the other cats to decide when they want to see Audrey. Bonjii looks like he had enough for now. Audrey was very appropriate, rubbing her face and shows she was marking her territory (that includes Meijoo😂😂). It’s going to take time. A lot of time.

This might be a good time to try the old "food on each side of the (gate) door" cat hack to get Audrey and the gang to associate one another with something rewarding. Might speed things up a bit and break the ice between them. Doesn't even have to be full meals, just some yummy snacks.
