This shows you that all that crap Ennis stuffed into The Boys was really self-indulgent and counter-productive to telling a straightforward, thematically coherent story.
I enjoyed season one of the show, started reading the comic and just thought it was too edgy. Invincible for the win (Kirkman is one of my favorite comic writers, so thta might have to do. While I do enjoy Eniss' Punisher Max, I'm not that much into his other stuff)

ComicPOP is thriving right now! Not only because you guys did Invincible or because of the recent insane interviews but each episode is very lively and it makes the best discussion when everybody's having fun.
It ended perfectly, and it goes to far into the future in the end. So there is no real way for marks story to continue unless they show terra and marky’s growth

There's really too much coincidence with this video and the Amazon Prime Invincible show, like how they asked the question of how the Guardians' bodies were found after the massacre and why Amber fell for Mark. All of their presumed answers are pretty spot on with what the show gave us ngl.
You know? Between this episode, Mister Miracle, New Frontier, and Ultimate Spider-Man. You guys have pretty much done my favorite comic books of all time. You guys are missing Batman: Year 100 and I'm pretty much set for life.
@@hammskie05 I did. I stand corrected the animated series is pretty true to the source material besides some minor flaws that more or less get on my nerves. But because I have bias towards books I have to say I like the faster pace of the comics much better though

I preferred the way the show started, I liked how the Guardians of the Globe fight was handled and vastly preferred how Will's personality in the show (also that I didn't have to sit through that weird period were he was in the closet). And in case anyone wants to scream at me, I first read the comic during a very long stay in hospital, finished close to the entire series in a month and re-read it for fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the outer space shit and Oliver being born. They haven't really done any tie-in to stuff like Brit or Savage Dragon but I really hope they do.
I looked at the title, then the video length. I hope the next Back Issues continues or completes this story, I can't bear the idea of waiting another week or two without another dose of this narrative. Thank you, guys.

I just started collecting the graphic novels after being exposed to them, and once I was, I was instantly hooked. Just picked up 6 &7 last week, and it's nice to see that while the novels were quite a deal faster when pertaining to the exposition, the animated series has found close to perfect pacing while laying the ground when dealing with characters story arc's. It has been a long time since I've received such a satisfying (proverbial) "breath of fresh air" and rate this series a 9 Out of 10, as I would highly recommend it to both casual, as well as avid readers if you're looking for the same effect, thrill, and experience that I have. Kirkman does NOT disappoint!
Invincible is such an incredibly special series to me, i started reading it pretty young and i realize now after it's all said and done that it's almost as if Mark Grayson is someone i grew up with. This was a great episode, i really, really want you to do more!
The animated series on Amazon Prime expands on the side characters like the mom and such. But it follows closely. It improves upon how Sal describes the comic
"The green lantern character has to swallow a jewel to get his powers." That vaguely reminds me of the superhero Darna - most famous superhero in all of the Philippines and pretty much equivalent to Wonder Woman - who got her powers by accidentally swallowing this stone that fell from space. Though I am pretty sure that she didn't have regurgitate the stone like this guy did.

I had not honestly even heard of invincible before this maybe only seen a picture or something and that made this so nice, refreshing, and a cool surprise. You should 100% do another one of these and if I can throw in my own little personal suggestion for Back Issues I would ask for The Omega Men. Probably gonna pick up a digital copy of this book and I am adding this video to my favorites (IDK if that helps with the algorithm but fingers crossed it helps give some kinda boost)
