Having finished all of Invincible I could totally see why Sal hates Robot
They definitely need to continue this like they do with ultimate Spiderman.

They covered about 12-13 issues in this and the run is 144 issues total. Assuming every collected edition like they used is about the same it'd be about 10 episodes i think, but if they were to continue it I could easily see them splitting the later arcs into more episodes.
Unfortunately,it would have to get a LOT more views than the current amount. About 80,000 more.

Look at this videos views and the views of the last two ultimate Spiderman episodes. The last one was less than 30K last time I checked and it had two more months than this.

This shows you that all that crap Ennis stuffed into The Boys was really self-indulgent and counter-productive to telling a straightforward, thematically coherent story.
I enjoyed season one of the show, started reading the comic and just thought it was too edgy. Invincible for the win (Kirkman is one of my favorite comic writers, so thta might have to do. While I do enjoy Eniss' Punisher Max, I'm not that much into his other stuff)

It ended perfectly, and it goes to far into the future in the end. So there is no real way for marks story to continue unless they show terra and marky’s growth

@@hammskie05 I did. I stand corrected the animated series is pretty true to the source material besides some minor flaws that more or less get on my nerves. But because I have bias towards books I have to say I like the faster pace of the comics much better though
@@marlom7882 Honestly, I preferred the way the show handled some stuff more than the comic (the exception being Amber, obviously). I preferred the way the show started, I liked how the Guardians of the Globe fight was handled and vastly preferred how Will's personality in the show (also that I didn't have to sit through that weird period were he was in the closet). And in case anyone wants to scream at me, I first read the comic during a very long stay in hospital, finished close to the entire series in a month and re-read it for fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the outer space shit and Oliver being born. They haven't really done any tie-in to stuff like Brit or Savage Dragon but I really hope they do.
this is really interesting to come back to with the context of the show adaptation, seeing how things were changed both to fit the pacing of a 10-episode series and as a kind of second draft.
A lot of stuff from the second arc of the comic are thrown into the first season of the show and switched around a bit, to pretty decent effect, I think

That vaguely reminds me of the superhero Darna - most famous superhero in all of the Philippines and pretty much equivalent to Wonder Woman - who got her powers by accidentally swallowing this stone that fell from space. Though I am pretty sure that she didn't have regurgitate the stone like this guy did.

I just started collecting the graphic novels after being exposed to them, and once I was, I was instantly hooked. Just picked up 6 &7 last week, and it's nice to see that while the novels were quite a deal faster when pertaining to the exposition, the animated series has found close to perfect pacing while laying the ground when dealing with characters story arc's. It has been a long time since I've received such a satisfying (proverbial) "breath of fresh air" and rate this series a 9 Out of 10, as I would highly recommend it to both casual, as well as avid readers if you're looking for the same effect, thrill, and experience that I have. Kirkman does NOT disappoint!
To me, Invincible is the superhero comic that Image wishes it had during the 90s.

The animated series on Amazon Prime expands on the side characters like the mom and such. But it follows closely. It improves upon how Sal describes the comic

This is the series that got me into comics back in 2012. Picked up a trade in my local store's bargain bin and spread out from there. So glad the guys enjoyed it!

Probably for Season 2 and 3. The first season completed the first compendium, so it would line up pretty well for the crew to do the next compendium. The sequel episodes always depend on how the previous ones do, and it looks like this episode has done pretty well.

Invincible reads so fast I've read all 3 Compendiums in a day.. it might be my most cherished book series I've read

FYI on the part where Mark goes to get his Science Dog comics signed. It's actually the original Invincible artist, Corey Walker, who's the author. The reusing panels joke stemmed from a comic art forum called Penciljack where Walker, Kirkman, Ottley, and a bunch of other guys who worked with Kirkman frequented. There was a contentious thread at the time debating if it was lazy to recycle panels with Walker as an example. The page was an inside joke on that.
I recently started reading Invincible and am having fun with it. Can't wait to see Ethan and Ben's reactions.

Invincible is such an incredibly special series to me, i started reading it pretty young and i realize now after it's all said and done that it's almost as if Mark Grayson is someone i grew up with.

I like how each episode of back issues might have some band mentioned for different reasons. Plus its somehow always bands i love. From Iced earth in spawn to Tool in this episode. Just thought that was interesting. Plus I just realized that Tool's new song is called invincible.
Allen the alien has been my favorite character since volume 2. Bulletproof and invincible are my second favorite characters so far. I just finished volume 4 and invincible has got me hooked. Can’t wait to read volume 5.
