It just has that special touch, you can so definitively hear his voice as they had it in the trailer as you listen to it. It fits him so naturally and him it.
Emperor Vitiate: The Ruler of all Sith and devourer of worlds. Emperor Valkorion: The Human skin of the monster. Tenebrae: The inhuman monster beneath all the masks.
All the versions that made the 'The Immortal Emperor', the greatest evil that the Galaxy has faced and forevermore would remembered even by the both Sith and Jedi alike. As a warning of how far they wish to go or how far they will allow true mastery.
@@misterallemand9866 I think that, what really sticks with me is that, despite how murderous, irredeemable and powerful Tenebrae became, he is, at the core of his being, a petty, selfish and truly pitiful individual. This is because while he claims to be in a state of endless evolution, he never really changed. From the day he was born until his ultimate demise, he was still the little boy in the farm whose's single goal stayed always the same: to escape inexistance. The ironic part is that, by embracing the dark side and trying to enslave the Force to his will, he was forever robbed of the possibility to become truly eternal by letting go and giving himself fully to the Force.
@@jakobrenner2230 Quite so, that's why this variant lacked any of the wisdom that the other had - the true one at least experienced lifetimes over and over understanding pretty much everything. His conquest for power and immortality would never have worked because he was the most powerful being to begin with and even this imprint was equivalent to the last, the difference in superiority being experience. Even Marr knew this when he told the Outlander. Though the Tenebrae without having branched out yet saw only saw what gave the other superiority as a weakness for it not having contributed to the great plan that he had. He did change, I must state, though that's only really after he consolidated himself as immortal with a host - the moment that was threatened, he threw all the change away to focus on his ambition. Back to that individual who took joy in killing just for the sake of it back on Medriaas, the same one who cared for nothing other than avoiding nonexistence to a point where he succeeded but amusing enough, couldn't experience that life that he gained because of it. It is rather ironic though, to gain what he wanted - all he had to do was have a different perspective and the same ambition would have been granted upon him, the force which is the entity that could have given him immortality was the same thing that sent him to oblivion to balance out the force. Almost...a tragedy... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Tenebrae is terrifying and truly a great heir to the sith. Marka Ragnos when he first met him, wanted to pick him as a successor, but knew no one would accept him due to his age, so instead he named him vitiate and told him to lay low until he was ready. At the age of 11-13, he had conquered his home planet and even slayed his father, from what I could tell based purely on the KOTET story, had power comparable to Vaylin and Arcann. And to think, not once have we fought him when he was at full capacity, Not when the Jedi knight struck down the vitiate body, we had to cheat/hax to halt Valkorion, and when we finally faced tenebrae... it took all the most powerful force adepts from across the centuries to just overpower an imprint of who he was prior to establishing the new sith empire. I can just shudder when I imagine just how powerful he truly was at full strength. The greatest evil in galactic history, is a title he well and truly deserves.
He is immortal, and the leader to all Sith. Sad how Swtor got rid of him when he was the cornerstone of the game. You notice since they removed him the game has declined
OMG pure goosebumps. tenabreas theme music is great. His valkurion music is also epic. Tenabrea is and will remain the most powerful sith that has ever existed and will be. The only true imperator.
I'd say Sidious, by the time of _Dark Empire,_ reached Tenebrae levels of power. But if anything, Palpatine used them in a smarter way. Tenebrae pretty much united the galaxy against him, something the Emperor tool care not to repeat.
@@Archon3960 Really? Hey sidious wouldn't reach tenebrea's level in a thousand years. Sidious needed the help of the ancient Sith to return, Tenebrea didn't. Sidious needed clones to return. Sidious is strong, that's true and you can say that his power was greatest at the time of Dark Empire, but he wouldn't have a chance against Tenebrea. Tenebrea lived for almost 1500 years. He has studied and learned the mysteries of the Sith over the years. As a result, his power grew. Sidious is an emperor and the strongest sith since. But Tenebrea is a god and the most powerful Sith of all time. If tenebrea had succeeded in destroying the planets or absorbing the power through his ritual, he would have become many times stronger than he already is. In addition, sidious has also united the galaxy against himself. Except for the empire. tenebrea ruled the sith empire for 1000 years. You know they're always fighting each other. Luckily Sidious only had vader, who was weaker than him. In Tenebrea's time there were many powerful Sith who wanted to overthrow him. But nobody made it. This also shows Tenebreas power.
@@Archon3960 No, vitiate was like Palpatine but on the most extreme steroids ever he even before all of this stuff as tenebrae could bend the will of 8000 Sith Lords to himself and steal their energy
What I love about this is that, Echoes of Oblivion is fitting since this isn't truly Tenebrae, at least not the one we fought and successfully killed. This is but merely a hardware copy made before Tenebrae ever became the wise man we knew as Valkorion, leeching of others memories to even begin getting that wisdom back. And this song makes it abundantly clear the further you go that while yes, if he succeeds, then everyone is in big trouble, that he's but an echo of a now bygone threat.
He is not bygone and this version of tenebrae was basically a copy made after Revans plot. This was a version of him that would reconstruct his old spirit like a Lego set
Idk why people think Sidious could even stand a chance against Vitiate. They always site Sidious' Force Storm power, but it takes a long time to generate and he can't really control it, making it useless in the middle of a fight. Sidious isn't worthy to polish Vitiate's boots. Sidious: "Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side." Vitiate: "You have mastered the Dark Side of the Force; it is not enough, it never was..." (Sith Purebloods > every other species)
I mean both of them are probably the two most formidable dark side users in history. Both were made by the force's decision to balance out the Jedi's strength. Both are abnormalities in the force though in the end, it was the force that killed Tenebrae, not a person or a group as the ending presents. His weight in the dark side was so imbalanced the force had to intervene so realistically, that says it all when it comes to Tenebrae and Sidious' competition.
@@misterallemand9866 The two most formidable Sith, probably; but I'm not sure about Dark Siders in general because of Abeloth, in which case it would be her and Vitiate. But I agree, Sidious is most likely the greatest Sith threat after Vitiate.
