This model is awesome! It is actually a "tri-copter. As it flies low, over the water, in ground effect, one can see it has three jets! The third, in the nose, nicely placed, controls the pitch. The side duct fans are awesome! They also have control blades in the air flow! Wish I could see this model built at full scale!

Excellent! I hope within several years there will be a working model that people can fly! I've heard that flying cars (we (i.e. "the public") were told decades ago that we should have had them by the year 2000.) will be commonplace once "cars can drive themselves" with g.p.s. guided controls. It has wings on the back. This means that when it goes forward kinda fast, it would have the tendency to pitch up.
It could be scaled up, but the Osprey is more practical.
@@Mechaghostman2 the wings in the back could be use as and horizontal stabilizer that could pitch up and down to change the nose angle of attack.

Well it has to be there for the drone to fly, aromaticly it would not fly if that fan wasn’t there. The aerials from the 3rd movie are the most realistic HKs from the films

I imagine adding a tiny smoke generator to emit white smoke into the engine fans, coupled with a few red/orange LED's would look really awesome! How practical it would be making one is another matter.
This is maybe the best custom RC EVER!
It's so awesome that it flies. It's not just science fiction, it actually worked.
"Mostly hover with slight movements" is how you fly an RC heli when you're still figuring out the controls. 1) hover. 2) deviate from hovering (translate left, stop) 3) slowly move around. 4) more quickly move around. 5) practice and repair your heli a lot. 6) Whizz around the area looking like a 3D RC heli genius. This guy is on step 3. Looks good!
Maybe best machine I seen on you tube I seen so far you got a winner! Soon as we come out with cheap 3D machines we can manufacture in the USA again. We will see rubber made homes.
We don't have cars like this because it would be very inefficient. Very nice model!

Do we really honestly live in such an unimaginative consumer world where the first thing some people can say is "fake computer generated" -or- they assume its mass produced....Hats off to this guy and many others like him in sheds and garages across the world for putting the hours and the blood sweat and tears to make unique one off pieces that we the humble ones may enjoy on youtube! and one day maybe I shall make something too- when I can tear myself away from this computer ;)

maybe you should get some laser pens with high intensity beams mounted to it and do a strafing run on some balloons from the resistance. hook it up to a strobe switch so it fires beams in that effect, would look awesome at night.

This model is tricopter. In front installed of the masked screw. In turbines installed the control plate.
In the description is a reference to the construction of the model.
the only negative thing that I can say is, that you need to maybe put in a stabilisation system in, but great work! looks awesome!

That is the coolest thing i have seen in a long time.
yeah there must be a smaller one in the front to help stabilize, that grill vent looking area on the top front must be the intake for it. Good job and moves well.
Note the massive post-production video stabilisation, that makes it look so stable...

Actually, you can see the peice of paper flapping when it takes off. It's not even an EDF, it's just ducted motors (there similar, but different). The motors are also actually moving, but they keep upright while the body pivots, which you can see if you tilt your head.
Nice job :) this is real nobody can animate water like that on a film plate ..
Really a different concept from an average helicopter... If you can add a tilt rotor and larger wings with rudders, elevators, and ailerons on the rear wings of the aircraft this could be a great prototype for a future weapon.
I think there is a fan in the front end, notice the grills on the top and bottom, that would enable it to move in any direction

The model Hanter is in the closet, electronics removed.The model was based on the film as a hobby. Flying time 7 minutes, payload I have not tested.

Watch the HK as it flies over the water - you can see three areas of rotorwash: There's a third rotor in the forward fuselage. As native says, it's a tri-copter.
Very impressive animation. Had to watch it twice to make sure it was fake. This is near hollywood quality. Just fix the size jittering when rotating around the model and add dust etc when flying low and this would fool anyone!
Suggestion, Have a control to tilt the side propellors forward to make the aircraft fly faster, than if you want to slow down, tilt them backwards, than to land, back at 90 degree angle.

Its not fake, the waviness in the video is obviously from the video stabilization he used. Notice the black floating bar on the top and bottom of the screen moving? I wonder what he used, I like it better than the pulsing distorted stabilization imovie uses, and thats not a mac bash, I use iMovie!

yes, you can even see the fan as it flies overhead, it would have to be able to tilt a bit sideways to turn.

what would have been really amazing is if the motors could have spun to control forward momentum and hovering, then the speed of forward momentum would have been more impressive and it would have looked really cool. maybe a few motors to turn the motors via some gearing that is connected to the forward server but cuts off and only activated in reverse at some point.
I agree with you, One problem a computer generated program would have duplicating the small amount of instability while in flight. You if look closely at the craft you van see it wobble just a little bit. You would never see a CG creation do that.
You should put some servos to tilt the motors. Would be interesting if you could make it into a working VTOL... don't think its going to go full plane but maybe 30-40 degrees of rotation would be interesting...

WOW WE WHAT A TOP RC MAN!!! UP THERE IN MY TOP 5 DEFINTATELTY YOU GOTTA PUT SOME LAZERS ON AND MAYBE ONE OR TWO REMOTE FIRING ROCKETS!! TOTAL RESPECT IM SUPPRISED IT FLYS AS ITS ONLY A FILM CONCEPT?? LOOKS LIKE I BELONGS IN THE SKY FROM THE WAY THE TAIL SITS WHEN IT FLYS AT THAT ANGLE PERFECT.
I really like the shaders. Lightning is great, and the first shadow is amazing. But I missed it at landing. Image is a bit too bright and clean imo, if there would be more grain and "dust" or "whirls" I had I said worldclass CGI.
Nevertheless AAA+ work!

nice use of post editing image stabilization , if anyones wondering about the black on top bottom. its post editing motion tracking.original fottage i bet was very shaky .also recorded at 60fps , as theres no motion blur happening.;) great aircraft too . cool shit

Но предупрежу, что все очень серьезно, наскоком не получится.
