Carlo, Working in the woods is not 'a bit stupid'. It's brilliant! It's brilliant to see the land emerging from the darkness of many years of over growth. It's brilliant to watch your energy and passion. It's brilliant to see you working on your land. Cheers to you both for creating a wonderful Tuscan home. You are both stars. 🌟
Carlo I’m 63 and do the same in our garden as well keeps me in shape and allows me to clear my head. You do incredible work and your carpentery skills are awesome not to mention your drone work as well you are a true Renaissance Man!
I won't lie, I have come to like watching this channel to see what Carlo is up to now, what is he going to make or build LOL! I got my coffee and ready for another Sunday with this lovely couple I live vicariously with in Italy. How nice is it Nicki bought a house in Tuscany and realizes she has more land and more land as they clear up the bushes LOL! Thank you! guys for sharing your life with us.
Kemi I Just read there is a new airline route opening in Las Angeles to Rome direct and the flights will be cheap like $200 each way. Maybe you can to Italy my friend :) I also see cheap round trips from jfk at times. Xo
Carlo, I don’t think you realize how appealing you are! You are never boring. The more you speak on camera the better I like it. You are both extremely personable people. I can not believe the work you have done in the olive fields. It all reminds me of “The Secret Garden” which I'm sure Nicki read when she was a child. One of my favorite books. I can't wait for the olive harvest!
Carlo is a man of the earth, loves making it fruitful again after it has been abandoned and has become fallow...... adding value to their Tuscany land and property just for the love of it..... Bravo Carlo and Nicki❣🇮🇹
Carlo can never be boring, I love listening to him speak and enjoy the descriptions of what he is doing out there in the woods and all the amazing things he builds - and, so quickly! 😊
Yes, I enjoyed this episode, as every Sunday. What a pity that only 40 % of the viewers subscribed, they have no idea how important this is for brilliant content creators like you.
I loved every minute of it, especially the segments where we are able to see how you are reclaiming your land. Love how positive, genial, and hardworking Carlo is! Nikki and Carlo complement each other so well, each creative in their own way.
Oh, Carlo, my late husband was so much like you!!! He loved being outside, working at whatever, gardening, clearing our property, planting and babying a fruit orchard!!! You bring back so many love memories....keep doing what you love and we'll keep watching!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Having lived all his life in a place perched on the edge of a hill, it is no surprise that Carlo is excited to clear more and more space in this mew property.
Carlo is doing an amazing job! When he is finished you will have so many gorgeous places to walk! You videos are never boring no matter where you film. ❤
Being a seasoned traveler, I have learned to buy an extra charger for my iPad and iPhone that I keep in my suitcase along with other basic stuff so I don't have to worry about forgetting them. I also have given these items as Christmas gifts to people I know travel a lot. I particularly like the 8 ft phone charging cable because you just don't know where the outlets will be in hotels or vacation rentals.
The exhaustion from working in the woodland is refreshing. When I have an indoor chore I don't want to do I procrastinate by tending my garden. We are never bored watching Nicki and Carlo and the 2 doggies. Much enjoyment from watching Apertivo! The last segment traveling down your memories through photos was a joy.
Your videos are never boring Carlo! That was some beautiful scenery. How exciting to find more olive trees and fruit trees. Nicki, the next time you get lonely, take a bag chair and a good book and go plant yourself where Carlo is working and read and enjoy it. At least he will be nearby. It's so sweet that you two share such closeness and love.
What a lovely place that you have, both inside & out🤗 Yes, you are quite blessed 🥹 At my age (77), I would much prefer Tuscany, the steps would be the death of me. I am always forgetting things & have to go back to the house after I get in my car. But, if I had all of those steps to contend with, I would just have to go without! May God bless you both and keep you in His loving care 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Carlo, there is nothing stupid about the pleasure you take in working in nature. I admire how much effort and care you put into everything you do, whether clearing woods, building something or fixing something. You are blessed with many talents that you loving use in the service of your family and your homes, be it Positano or Tuscany. Would that everyone had your skills and enthusiasm.
Those kids will remember olive harvesting as a core childhood memory, I remember going up to my grandparents farm as a kid and we would often help on their farm or the neighbors farms. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories.
Carlo I think that’s wonderful that you love clearing your land and planning to plant fruit trees. Who would do this if you didn’t do it with live. It’s not stupid at all.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Glad more friends came to see you Nicki. Warms my heart! The boys were fun. Carlo, you clearing the woodland is so gratifying. It is artistic also. Its like sewing a quilt. It is work that gives beauty to the eye. Something that I hope last you a long time to admire.
Carlo! You don’t bore us with your adventures in finding long forgotten areas! I know lots of us enjoy seeing all of your progress…nothing is “shtupido” 😊
3 new levels to explore (and for Carlo to have a great diversion - he's made such a great difference). I've never seen such high olive trees! Glad you got to spend some nice time with your old friends and their boys. 😊
I enjoy seeing what Carlo is up to next, whether it is building something or cutting back his woodland. I’m looking forward to your olive harvest. Sunday evening spent relaxing watching Positano Diaries/Nicki Positano is something to look forward to.
Nicki, while some might criticize you (according to your own comments), you have afforded Carlo the most amazing opportunity to use his hands-on skills to connect to the land. While in the beginning, I also wondered if Carlo would regain his footing in Tuscany (he seemed a bit lost in the beginning), this episode clearly demonstrates how happy he is with his chainsaws, 4X4 vehicles, etc. Nicki is in this way, the 'trailblazer' and Carlo is the happy passenger, willing to slow her down a bit to enjoy the ride. Lovely.
Awe Carlo such is the joy of gardening and working in the woods. Such satisfaction when the day ends. You will have eternal enjoyment as the Ivy and Bamboo will creep in again by next year. Ivy is the nemesis of my yard, along with blackberries. Both are so invasive and will take over if not tended.
I just gifted my partner a telescope for his birthday which he absolutely loves it, as it has photo capabilities too. I'm now imagining how good the stargazing would be in Tuscany, without "light pollution", as there would be at night time in Positano. Stargazing is a fun activity to do together, or with others at the end of the day. Any impressive photographs of outer space activity, star clusters, planets, moons etc can be printed out and then proudly displayed as artwork on the walls of your homes! Also, when you see what's up there in space it really puts our life on earth into perspective. 👱❤️
I am married to a man that has energy like Carlo. We have been married for 55 years and have been involved with never ending projects. So I can appreciate Nicki saying she is a “woodland widow”! I truly know what you mean, but I’m sure Nicki would agree, we would not want it any other way. Life is never boring. Thank you for our Sunday visit.❤️😘
Carlo there is nothing stupid about wanting to do something you love doing so much...you remind me alot of my husband here...he just LOVES the outdoors at our place as well....just think how BEAUTIFUL of an area that will be when it is all cleared and growing green and lush again!! Nicki it seems your friends and their teenagers had a wonderful time with you guys...what a great experience for them picking olives...they will remember that the rest of their lives!! Great video....as usual!!! I always look forward to coming here on Wednesdays and Sundays to see you two!! 😊😘
Carlo is such a visionary with ideas for future gardens with clearing the woodland area out. doing activities like this can be really cathartic and enjoyable - like he says. it's not stupid - but a wonderful way to be in nature, be productive, and explore the land that you have. the olive harvest with your friends and their families was fun to watch - breathtaking scenery! i so look forward to days you put out content on both your channels. thank you for taking the time to do all this - it really is such a treat for us all!
Wow! Carlo totally transformed that jungle. There's such an enjoyable sense of accomplishment when you can see big results from your labors. You've both done so much to turn that place around and give it a new life.
Yea Tuscany we’re back!! Green! Where you cleared is just beautiful with cosy little sort of mystical spots where i expect to see a gnome having tea wave at me. I read too many fantasy novels but I’m a tree person! I love your cleared areas Carlo! Maybe you were meant to be a farmer; you worked with the soil landscaping at the cemetery now look at you 🌳💪!
Carlo, it is an important job to keep the woodland clear, all the trees thank you!. Tuscany is so pretty, thank you for sharing your lovely days with us, I so look forward to these vlogs.
Love seeing Carlo, excited about going into the woods. We all have our favorite things to do and that’s awesome that it relaxes him. Love the olive picking and can’t wait to see when you start yours! The dogs are having the best life with you two.
Once again you made my day. Love the walks with Carlo in the woods. I am in Houston TX and my husband is Canadian and loves long hikes in the woods so I quite understand. I have been a makeup artist for 40 years and love that part of your life especially doing your makeup so quickly and sometimes in the dark. ❤❤❤ Thanks once again for sharing your lovely family.
I would be right there beside you Carlo! There's nothing like working physically all day and falling into bed exhausted. It keeps you young, fit and trim. I'd far rather that than cooking and cleaning!! The clearing of the land you've done is wonderful, especially relieving the trees from their shackles!! Nicki you're wonderful for pewparing meals and friends to come for visits. It's wonderful that you found someone else who was harvesting and helped them as well as giving your friends the experience. Your guests always seem to enjoy themselves. No wonder: you're a wonderful couple.
Carlo amazing. So fun. You could cut down those old olive trees and plants fruit trees! All kinds! The three levels are a dream. I wonder how you will keep the bamboo from coming back… maybe a ground cover… I love gardening it is so satisfying. I feel the same way about fixing up the house. I love to think of what I’ve accomplished. You did well with the footage you had. Thank you both 😘❤️
Carlo, if you see this message, I feel, looking at your wonderful work you are doing to clear the terraces of Ivy and Bamboo and define the pathways, you are leaving an incredible legacy for future generations. Not only that, but I think the Land itself loves you for it too! What beautiful memories for the 3 boys. A magical holiday. I'm jealous! Another lovely video and I've been subscribed for years! If only 40% are subscribed, I wonder why 60% haven't hit the bell-issimo! Come on people! 👉🛎👈
Despite the sudden changes in temperature, with storms, waterfalls and suddenly a bright sun, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: Positano and Tuscany 🥰 Lovely video ❤
I don't thank you enough for the work you put into these videos. I love the Positano journey, worried right along with you two about those horrid stairs. I love the Tuscany videos with wide swaths of open land and mountains, fog collecting in the valleys, lovely dog walks and best of all, Carlo is clearing the land and finding gardens!!! And then, you started Apertivo 50, a wonderful open ended conversation about things that matter...It's just such a pleasure to be on this journey with you. Love to You Both, Suzi. ❤❤❤
It’s wonderful to have a home in a beautiful setting where your family and friends can go to catch up and hang out. Thank you for another great vid, Nicki and Carlo.
Going out and clearing the woods all day is not stupid! That is hard work I am sure, but very satisfying and there is nothing stupid about spending time in nature. Carlo, keep doing what you enjoy!
A wonderful secret garden emerges! What a find! Looks like it's perfect for an orchard. You know if you ever wanted to sell a working holiday package to labour in your gardens or harvest your olives, I would be your first customer! Just put up a few yurtz and a bathroom block, and I'm there! Love you guys and your fabulous channels! Highlights of my week.
A very heartfelt thank you for transporting us to your lovely Tuscany and Positano.... you truly feel like family - in the best way. Sending much love to you and to all from Carmel by the Sea .... be well!! xoxo
Hello there! I love you guys and all that you share with us ... such a privilege being part of your life in this kinda way .... I really hope the channel reaches soon more than one million cos it deserves .... when the vid is finishing I am already missing next .... thank you for all and have a blessed week .... What fun "new property" that Carlo is uncovering. Enjoy your adventures everywhere, we sure enjoy seeing your side of the world. Have a great week. From Arizona Everyone Subscribe!
I really like whenever you're in Tuscany... maybe because I love to see everything there is... the house itself with porches... the pool... jacuzzi... especially the view where you can see endless plants and trees and flowers..am not bored looking at it everytime... and I can feel that there are still a lot of things you can do with that beautiful place of yours.thanks for sharing❤
I subscribed years ago. Can't even remember when. I'm so glad I did. Now, every Sunday I look forward to a wonderful treat to see what Nicki and Carlo are up to in Positano and now Tuscany. Nicki is so creative at making these great videos, editing, and narrating them. Looking forward to the olive harvest. Carlo, you are never boring. It's always so much fun to see what project you're working on to improve your surroundings. Thank you, both of you.
Nothing like the satisfaction of clearing the land and trees ready for new life. It’s a wonderful adventure, bringing fruitfulness back again! This sort of thing can bring you such pleasure, Carlo, as it does to me watching it. Thank you both for the great pleasure of going along on your wonderful country walks with the happy dogs and your lovely visitors. All very delightful! 🩷🩷.
Hi, you can't miss the steps or the downpours. We had our first skiff of snow overnight. So fall is upon us all. I love the view in the fog when you returned to Tuscany. That was a beautiful scene . So dramatic in the fog. Pretty exciting with your first Olive pick. I can only imagine how delicious a freshly picked black olive must taste. That you discovered something like a garden on your property is interesting. Absolutely it did not bore me this Sunday. It's exciting to watch you discover what is the beauty of your new property.! Thank you❤❤
hello fellow canuck - not sure where you are with the snow - it rained out here last night. with olives, you have to cure them first - it's so unfortunate you can't just eat them freshly picked, isn't it? such a great channel to get lost in!
My goodness! Carlo is a one-man tree pruning service! Your videos are among my favorite things on my Sunday agenda. You also inspire me each week to just get to it!! Can't wait to see the olive harvest!😎
I totally get it Carlo. I have a guy friend that I was partners with for ten years now only friends last 6 years and he has a beautiful 6 lots in the town where I live and 153 fir trees and some other trees also, two apple trees, lots of rhododendrons. I started clearing his property for him. He fell off a ladder two years ago at age 64 and cannot walk without a walker, so it is difficult for him to do things. I am 77 but healthy. I took all the ivy off his fir trees. I freed them and they love me for it. I have so many piles of branches and yard debris that we have to burn someday but it looks awesome the more I clear. Every now and then he gets mad at me for some dumb reason, and we don't see each other for months at a time, so right now I have a new project at my daughter's new home landscaping it. I do understand how good it feels to accomplish things just like you do Carlo.
I love when Carlo shows us the woodland world that he loves. Nicki thanks for sharing the olive harvesting part with your friends. I NEVER saw that process! You two ALWAYS keep our attention❤️❤️
É bello vedere Carlo ripulire il vecchio uliveto, riportarlo a nuova vita! Anche a me piace tanto lavorare nel bosco e in giardino e veramente dá molta soddisfazione e rilassa lo spirito , la mente ed allena il corpo
I'm favoured, $22K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.

How gorgeous to come home at night to your welcoming lights down the driveway..you guys have made a beautiful homely warm home.
I loved what Carlo is doing in the woodland. Ivy is as destructive as bamboo. So invasive what a job!
Don't worry Carlos you never bore us with your stories or woodland cleanup. It's fun to see all the new paths you discover.

Wow! loving the Tuscany home! I enjoy watching all the progress you are making, my favorites are your upgrades/DIYs.
Love this video. Vorrei sentire più italiano da Carlo ❤

Love watching you two, and the clearing of the Woody is relaxing, Nice to see the before and after
It's very nice to see Holly still able to jump up the sitting bench, means she's very well and healthy and full of energy.
Great video, as usual, Nicki and Carlo! Where has Celine been? We haven't seen her in awhile.
You are never boring Carlos... you are so adventurous 😊
Love seeing what Carlo is doing in the woods, clearing etc. I too find that type of thing peaceful.
É bello vedere Carlo ripulire il vecchio uliveto, riportarlo a nuova vita! Anche a me piace tanto lavorare nel bosco e in giardino e veramente dá molta soddisfazione e rilassa lo spirito , la mente ed allena il corpo
Feel like you are tending to be more in Tuscany😊No steps , though Positano is a dream place❤
I love the way you clear forests and create beauty Carlo!
Another wonderful Sunday with you. Carlo is a true gardener. I enjoy seeing what he is cutting now. So how many chainsaws does Carlo own? Haha
