Thanks for the review Mr. Fisher! I feel like most videos have neglected talking about some of cool features of the camera module. But you didn't neglect it. Great work.
TheFalseHuman but he did. Most reviewers (not naming names) barely talk about the camera, the zoom, how 'binning' works', the night mode et cetera. And the photo samples are pretty good as well.
TheNickle you say how most reviewers neglects certain aspects of the phone. Then you said that this reviewer did as well. What you should have said is *didn't. This would imply that the reviewer *did* talk about those aspects and didn't neglect those features. Right idea, just wrong word choice. Unless I'm making a fool of myself here with English lol
You’re easily my favorite tech reviewer on TH-cam. The effort you put into your script, the entertaining voiceover, the vocabulary you use (just well-chosen & well thought-out words), and simply how smart you are are all factors that make it more baffling for me that you aren’t at one million subscribers yet. I’ve been a huge fan since you were with Pocket Now, and I sincerely wish you THE BEST.
MrMobile [Michael Fisher] Been a big fan of u sir. Always love Ur content & cinematography 👌🏻. I keep new video of ur review for almost 15 days in my phone until I get tired of watching it again n again, honestly. Love ur work sir 👌🏻
The only deal breaker for me is the headphone jack. I'm not really into stock android. That really feels boring to me. All my life i have been using custom roms with tons of customization.
What? do samsung and LG skins copy ios in every aspect? emui is a miserable skin, that wants to roll with the big boys. Its so pathetic, apps crash all the time, the notifications are a mess, Ram management sucked on the mate 10 pro for me. I'd rather spend a 100$ more and buy a real iPhone.
younus hadi really app crashes in Mate 10 pro? did you really use it? I never felt in my Mate 9, its 1 and half year old, amd runs smoothly, got stable Oreo in January, 2018. Its battery life is amazing, nd its EmUi just gets better by time, it adjusts itself as per our usage of some apps, it utilizes its resources to most used apps and so on, its not perfect, but its good enough for every day tasks.
Now THAT is a camera. The low light mode is damn impressive, and I love the detail that comes with those merged pixels. I also appreciate that you shout out some other reviews and opinions at the end! You should keep that for other videos.
the quality of the content on your channel is second to none. I am astonished by the fact that the no. of subscribers are so less. man u will be no.1 one day. all the best!!!
awesome review as always!! Great camera, but for me a bit sharp? But yeah, p20 pro has great camera, but misses key features like a simple headphone jack and MicroSD, that's just a no go... also the notch.. even when you "hide" it you can still see it..
You're 2,000 subscribers short of the magic 600,000 line. Well done and well-deserved, MrMobile. I love your reviews - always detailed, well-scripted, honest and a pure joy to watch. Thank you! 😊😎 Now let's go for 1 Million mark. 👍
Exactly. Why have a notch and a fat bottom chin? All the newer and upcoming android phones with notch has the same problem. Mi Mix 2 did it right though the camera placement is still awkward. As Carl Pei explained, it is expensive to curve the oled panel like in the iPhone X but Oneplus isn't the expensive while this phone is.
IDK how I was not subscribed :O I watch your videos often. I don't know from where is the most of your audience but even if this phone is not coming to the US, it comes all over the world so we need your reviews . Keep up the good work!
I really liked the review. If the company’s main focus for the phone is camera, you completely reviewed their camera and then the usual pieces of a phone review. Amazing work!!!
I was really surprised how much you praised this device considering the severe criticism you have in store for every other device. Now that you have recommended it, I am much assured that I am making a good decision by choosing this device! Great job Mr Mobile!
This is an inspiring phone when every other flagships are becoming less distinguishable. P20 Pro has brought some serious competition to the today’s flagship lineup. It’s a shame that it’s not officially available in the states .
Excellent work as usual, Mr Fisher! Having little time to watch TH-cam videos, I must select my subscriptions carefully. Your reviews are concise yet not superficial. This way I feel I can keep up with the mobile tech news without having to follow dozens of other TH-camrs. Thank you for your quality work. :-) Cheers!
you ever consider doing throwback reviews? your reviews of the dell phone and the htc hd2 on pocket now were so good. i miss you reviewing older hardware in your unique style maybe do the htc one m7 since its going on 5 years old now or the iphone 5s as its still completely usable to this day (i know this because its my daily driver)
I dunno he seems to really hate the software, I personally do prefer the Blackberry launcher on any device even the Nokia 3(stock Android device) & honor V9 Play but yeah other than that he does great reviews, still wonder why he never say anything bad about Samsung software it is horrible. :(
Hey, if huawei decided to put the front cam in the bottom bezel, and drop the home button, put the fingerprint sensor under the display and go full Mi-Mix on the front of this phone while keeping all the internals and rear cam intact, would you buy it for yourself??
Great video so your pixel 2 is your go to for pictures. So would the pixel 2 be your daily carry as well. Or do you use a different phone for your daily carry?
Great video, keeping doing these awesome reviews, they looks beautiful and stunning.. You definitely deserve more subscribers than you're at... And never missed your video.. Not a single one
Have you noticed any screen dimming? There's some sort of bug that slightly adjusts the display brightness even if automatic is turned off, depending on the lighting conditions. Great review as always.
Mr. Mobile..Big Fan of ur work..!! Best Script, best Cinematography, everything in ur reviews is way better than others'.. U truly deserve way more than a million subscribers.. All d best to get there soon.. 👍👍 Keep making us 'Mobile'..!! 🙂🙂
Not the first review, but it's definitely a quality one! Also nice to know you've used the phone longer than a week time frame so you get a better feel for the phone and it's quirks. Awesome job and thanks for every review you put out!
Most informative review of this device thusfar! Had no idea the mind behind the imaging sensors at Huawei also worked on the Lumia 1020; would love to see a shoot-out between current-gen phones, and that previous monster... Please make it happen, Mr. Mobile!
The fingerprint sensor can completely replace the nav bar, so you don't have to waste actual screen space for that. Plus it's much easier to unlock when you are at a desk and phone is laying flat.
Great review. Though I'm curious, would you ever do a review redo of the mate phones? The main thing I'd want to know how the performance ages given Huawei says that performance should be retained.
How do you feel about the connection indoors while on LTE. I read that the pro doesn't support two bands from T-Mobile. One that offsets heavy traffic and the other that helps with indoor connectivity.
Hi sir. If you're an average mobile photographer and using the older HW phone like the mate 9, is it a good decision to opt for an upgrade to this or not? Thank you
I'm very sceptical about the camera. The software and SOC makes this another semi flagship compared to the current players in the US market. Also, any phone claiming to be photography oriented has got to incorporate SD card. Many high end smartphones can shoot decent stablized 4K video, but it fills the onboard storage quickly.

That starts to hinder day to day performance, so I hope they figure out a way to make the p20 Pro do it possibly through using the NPU to allocate more raw power during capture or something.

Just got it, overall great phone. Just hate the fact that instagram story is cropped on the left & right side of the screen. Might be screen ratio issue, that instagram hasn't addressed for android.
Hey Mr. Mobile, in light of this smartphone with an truly unique camera system. What about looking at a previous smartphone that was also all about the camera. The Panasonic Lumix CM1, perhaps a Mr. Mobile old time review.
Now this is a proper review... You go deep into nearly all of main features of the product... Very nice review...
Tauhid Sahadat MrMobile has been the top reviewer ever since Pocketnow
Then you haven't seen Juan Bagnell. Camera in depth review JB and then Mr Mobile
@@GanDtechprefer mrmobile more tho, his style is better. Not saying he's any worse just not my preference
Much better review than MKBHD
bobby Yeah. He skipped over so much of the phone.
bobby he missed a lot of stuff
bobby remember when mkbhd used to do proper reviews? Before he instead focused on making it look like a Hollywood production
Yol
MKBHD used to be a great reviewer. Now he just glosses everything pixel does.
Thanks for the review Mr. Fisher! I feel like most videos have neglected talking about some of cool features of the camera module. But you didn't neglect it. Great work.
TheNickle but you didn't*
TheFalseHuman but he did. Most reviewers (not naming names) barely talk about the camera, the zoom, how 'binning' works', the night mode et cetera. And the photo samples are pretty good as well.

TheFalseHuman oooh you were correcting my spelling mistake. I thought you disagreed with what I said. Thanks for pointing it out.
TheNickle Only thing Mr.Mobild forgot to mention was that the finger print sensor can be used as navigation to gain screen realestate
Micheal is the only Fisher who never click'bait'
nayair Malik lol up
Clever :)
You’re easily my favorite tech reviewer on TH-cam. the absence of a shutter button is indeed a bummer
yeah, love my Xperia Z4 for that. Wish more companies would include the button
teru faye there was an xperia z4?
Hitler is actually a cat do you live under a rock or something?
In many markets it was z3+
yeah z3+/z4 depending on location
I've seen all the p20 review videos. Yours, as always is THE best!!
Wishing you get 1 million subscribers this year.
Love your vids. I always come here first for reviews, and love everything you produce.
Thanks very much!
MrMobile [Michael Fisher] Been a big fan of u sir. Always love Ur content & cinematography 👌🏻. I keep new video of ur review for almost 15 days in my phone until I get tired of watching it again n again, honestly. Love ur work sir 👌🏻
I so glad you focused on the night mode and zoom, so many reviewers seem to skip over them, and they really are impressive.
Simoneister EMUI is enough to steer me away from this otherwise great phone.
younus hadi Bro one thing I can guarantee you that EMUI is better than Samsung and LG skins

So cool to see a review instead of a race to be first spec read out. Thanks Mr fisher
That 1020 cameo has got me right in the feels!

Who's been here since the pocketnow days ? I know I have !
De'Rajon Slaughter 🙋
I have been a fan of Michael Fisher since pocketnow days! I can't described what it feels when he left the channel!
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Hipster Mate oh man I was like what he's leaving!! Then I was like pocketnow is dead now
De'Rajon Slaughter I agree, Pocketnow has been dead since Michael left. Pocketnow Daily is the only thing that keeps that channel going HAHAHA
Mike is far better than mkbhd.
Yep 👍
Your voice, narration and video making is always unmatched.

Ringer La Finger it's worse because when you watch TH-cam on the p20 pro, it doesn't let content go past the notch.
Danyaal Butt Oh that's even worse.
Well, at least they got rid of one bezel xD

Finally a real reviewer here . Keep the good work !
The only tech reviewer I would listen to and take advise from! Amazing review, great narration... And a pleasure to watch!
Great video, keeping doing these awesome reviews, they looks beautiful and stunning.. You definitely deserve more subscribers than you're at... And never missed your video.. Not a single one
You are authentic and awesome content creator in the world. We love your work and the way you explain stuff with excellent comparisons

Ur videos are a treat to watch . I can sit with a popcorn and start watching ...such is the awesomeness of your videos .
awesome way to asure we make it to the end. you just keep making them fresh and special. Hats off Mr Mobile.
i already watched a lot of reviews for this phone but i cant miss yours .
It would be nice to see a review after a few software updates if there is any improvements. Choosing between the p20 pro or the one plus 6.
Not the first review, but it's definitely a quality one! Also nice to know you've used the phone longer than a week time frame so you get a better feel for the phone and it's quirks. Awesome job and thanks for every review you put out!

The AA piece I reference at the end does a fantastic job of that. And thanks!
You deserve 1 million subscribers man! The quality of the video is dope 👍
We’re getting this phone here in Canada..
Michael you did an Ultra Full Pixel review reviewing all points. Awesome. Btw here in Spain P20 Pro comes with a free Huawei 360 degree camera.
Good review @MrMobile.... I do miss your more detailed reviews...
Do you think the regular P20 is much better than Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro?
The fingerprint sensor can completely replace the nav bar, so you don't have to waste actual screen space for that. Plus it's much easier to unlock when you are at a desk and phone is laying flat.
Got my P20 Pro on 02 in the UK £55 a month unlimited calls, txts & 25 gig. Big clear screen, great cameras, 4000 battery &128 memory! 👍🏻
G Cart I like. That much cheaper than ee
Read that as “violent delights have violent ends”. And then wanted to say “doesn’t look like anything to me.”

MrMobile [Michael Fisher] hahaha I was wondering if I over-read it
Nope, same page! Now find yourself in a deep and dreamless slumber.
Have you ever questioned the nature of your existence? ;)
Wow..Mr. mobile has now taken the throne of detailed review..!
Have been waiting for this review for so long haha!
Would you recommend this phone over the LG G7?
your choice of music is dope. always love the way you present.
Great review. Though I'm curious, would you ever do a review redo of the mate phones? The main thing I'd want to know how the performance ages given Huawei says that performance should be retained.
Great review as always! Love the practice of crediting the other reviewers. Presentation right up there :)
I currently own a note 5. Planning to buy p20 pro but would you suggest me to wait for note 9 or the next iphone or p20 pro is a good buy right?
How do you feel about the connection indoors while on LTE. I read that the pro doesn't support two bands from T-Mobile. One that offsets heavy traffic and the other that helps with indoor connectivity.
Hi sir. If you're an average mobile photographer and using the older HW phone like the mate 9, is it a good decision to opt for an upgrade to this or not? Thank you
I've been waiting for your P20 pro review. As always! Great review :)
Love that sesame ring on your finger. I have one too...although I have not seen anyone else in Boston wear one. Its the coolest thing.
Great vid as always Michael. That camera looks insane! And the color too 👌🏻
I'm very sceptical about the camera. The software and SOC makes this another semi flagship compared to the current players in the US market.
Also, any phone claiming to be photography oriented has got to incorporate SD card. Many high end smartphones can shoot decent stablized 4K video, but it fills the onboard storage quickly.
Mohamed Alfalo as a proud owner of an Honor 9 with Kirin 960, I can assure there's nothing to worry about. Got the android 8 update a month ago from Huawei and it's like brand new just the same. That starts to hinder day to day performance, so I hope they figure out a way to make the p20 Pro do it possibly through using the NPU to allocate more raw power during capture or something.
I agree that kirin 960 is a good processor, but what android SOC does it run circles around? pretty much every test I saw it was close or around the 835 if not beaten by it. (don't even compare it to apple's bionic chip)

More power is nice and all, but we're basically just running an power race, constantly one upping each other annually. It's great to see them try something different with the NPU. Sustainable and long term performance is more efficient than constantly reducing the nanometer sizes and increasing clock speeds, the having to pack more battery inside the phone. Cuz with all the talks a out how each Snapdragon is more efficient than the last, the battery results from the phones are inconsistent at best.
I love this man's videos more than any other reviewer 👏
Your camera reviews have gotten good
I have the super night mode on my Mate 10 lite. It takes crazy 20 seconds to take the shot and it's impossible without a tripod, but the result is fascinating
The charger not being compatible really isn't an issue. You just buy a travel converter to make it compatible with sockets in your region. You can buy them pretty much anywhere for virtually nothing.
Always great balanced and thoughtful reviews with a little humour added. I hear complaints that Huawei phones don't last? Any thoughts?
This video was straight up 🔥🔥
I have seen many youtubers with brilliant videography but none come close to your delivery and script 🙌👏
Awesome review Micheal! This is serious stuff right there. Keep it going!
I am still using Huawei p20pro already 3 years old and still perfect 🙂👍
If you covered the monochrome sensor, does the output image is effected or it just a scam as p9? As p9 if u covered it, the camera still function normal...no changes of camera output either u block or not the monochrome sensor
Came here from Dave Lee's video. Combining what I know from these two videos, I think this camera is perfect (as close as possible today) for everything but faces. Interesting.
Beautiful review as always Michael !
I have a Huawei phone, not P20 though. When the phone is in Camera mode, the volume button is the shutter button. Not sure if P20 still has the feature.
I really wish this phone was going to be sold in the US. Ugh. Great review, as always!
I absolutely adore your reviews. Keep it up!
Hi mrmobile can u tell us abt ur gear pls which camera u used??
I'm watching this video on an honor 6X, a Huawei phone.
It wasn't that hard to get.
Obviously, I'm talking about the 90% of normal people in the US who think carrier stores are the only places to buy phones.
Doesn't Apple have their own store? Or is that a non-US thing?
Apple does indeed have a ton of U.S. stores. They're the lone exception.
For 4k stabilisation, you can use the Google Photo app. It has a very good editor that stabilizes your video's and the results are very good.
nice review Mr Mobile
Congrats😉, You've won a new Subscriber. I loved your videos♡♡♡
The best reviews you can find. Period.
Mr Fo.. Fisher
Wonderful review ... Quick question where do you get these wonderful background music scores?
Thanks. Music is always in the description!
MrMobile [Michael Fisher] Oops ..sorry for stupid question
Not your fault; TH-cam makes the description basically invisible. :)
It's a cows opinion.
It doesn't matter.
MrMobile [Michael Fisher] It's moo!
Have I been living with you for too long, or does it that all just make sense? :-D

I like the way u review phones which is easy to understand and clearer compares to others
Everyone's review take forever to reach the camera. You started off with the thing that matter. Awesome review. Awesome reviewer... 👍
Your best review yet. Keep it up!
I never saw shout outs ever man your AWESOME!
My favourite tech narrative sound since Pocketnow. Good job, mate.
Just got it, overall great phone. Just hate the fact that instagram story is cropped on the left & right side of the screen. Might be screen ratio issue, that instagram hasn't addressed for android.
Waiting for Pixel 3
Hey Mr. Mobile, in light of this smartphone with an truly unique camera system. What about looking at a previous smartphone that was also all about the camera. The Panasonic Lumix CM1, perhaps a Mr. Mobile old time review.
