I have to try this game. I love all these classic top down shooter games from the early/mid 80's. They're easy to play with a Super Retro-cade. It's like having an arcade in your living room!

I remember feeding many ten pences into a cocktail version of this game at my local pub.
Not the best vertical shooter ever, but still quite playable and certainly very memorable nonetheless...

Five spacecrafts that merge into a bigger one and become a firebird. This game took obvious ispiration from Gatchman/Battle Of The Planets.
Back then the laws about copyright were less strict and videogames authors could take ispiration from everywhere without worring about being sued.
That's something I miss of the old times.

I always thought and still do think that splitting up the ship parts to attack is a great game mechanic. Otherwise it would have been just another generic shooter.
