Which is why the majority of the trailer consisting of exposition was from Fellowship and the action from the other two movies. I come back here just to watch how great this video is. By far the best trailer edit I have ever seen. I don’t want to be cliche but I literally got chills. Edit: This is coming from a person who has watched LOTR countless times. Thank you for this gift. You have a serious talent.
First off, I love this trailer more than the actual Infinity War trailer. Second, you just made me re-watch all the extended editions. Third, your sound editing is incredible! I have no idea how you removed the soundtrack from behind speech but it's brilliant. A lot of people won't appreciate it but you have serious talent.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I've rewatched this trailer, I don't know how many times now. WOW! The choice of footage is perfectly fitting with the music. The percussion and the visual action enhance each other because they hit together just at the right moment. The build up through the trailer is inescapable. The first time that I watched this trailer I didn't want it to stop. Imagine that we've seen only the first and second movie in theaters, and when it's time for the third movie then we get to see this trailer on the big screen. WOOOOOOOOOOOW from start to finish! This trailer is the true definition of EPIC. Thank you!
The consept isn't so hard, but it's to make it sound good that is hard! Almost like greenscreen! Anyone with a camera and blanket can do it! But to finish it up and make it look great is the problem!
In 5.1 channel mixes and higher, dialogue usually goes in the center channel and music in left, right and surround channels. If you have a 5.1 mix you can extract center channel and have cleaner dialogue (usually there is some bleed from left and right channels but it’s a lot quieter than the full mix and can be cleaned easier). Absolutely fantastic job with the trailer.
Lord of Rings is kind of slow. If you have the attention span of a goldfish, I can see how it would be hard to watch. Unfortunately there are a lot of goldfish around.
When you take an old trilogy or singular film, mix it with a modern trailer and it still ends up being awesome....that is when you have a timeless masterpiece.
YES! THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT! Generally, I hate fan-made trailers, because of the number of spoilers they include, meaning they don't work as actual trailers... but this! And covering a trilogy of movies without spoiling any of them! My word! This is perfect!

So much work went into this masterpiece, so SO much work, and I applaud all of them.

not judging but I think the mcu is better because they have spent time to build up an interesting and complex movie universe based not even on a book but comics
Darion Wait wait wait wait. WAIT. The MCU is not in any way better. Unless you count cheesy humor and no real consequence or peril as better than complex characters who have complete, satisfying arcs and real motivation. Take Tony Stark vs Sam for example. Tony stays relatively the same from start to end, even in Civil War, which I will admit has had the best characterization of any MCU movie thus far. But it comes nowhere close to the journey, both inwardly and physically that Sam -- and the rest of the Fellowship for that matter -- have to go through. If you need evidence of that, watch the part in Return of the King where Sam carries Frodo up the side of Mount Doom. I challenge you to find anything better than that in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Mr Al that's a stupid argument. the MCU has actual philosophical, historical and sociological themes, while tolkien hated allegory so it's all void, and LOTR is racist. also there is no "superhero genre", the MCU is pure science fiction, the same way star wars, dceu and lotr are pure fantasy.
The best fan trailer I have ever seen! Aragorns speech over the clips is perfectly done and Gimilis line at the end captures the trilogies humour which was never emphasised in the original trailers. Again great work!
Infinity War and Endgame gave me similar feelings to this trilogy. I think that the MCU is just as epic... but not as perfect. LOTR tells a very tight story, perfectly paced and masterfully told. The MCU is just too goddamn big and involves too many moving parts to create that level of perfection. But i still love them and i think that they are mythical in the same way LOTR is mythical

Thank you!
@@pyerack this comment is weird. "it's not hard at all, but it is hard"
@@pyerack adds are getting smarter these days
Holy shit the timing of everything is just perfect epic epicness!
Epic gamer moment
this is the cringiest comment ive ever read
I don't understand how anyone can not like the LOTR movies. They are so well made that they DO NOT AGE.
Lord of Rings is kind of slow. If you have the attention span of a goldfish, I can see how it would be hard to watch.
Unfortunately there are a lot of goldfish around.
I was actually thinking how good they still look 16 years later.
@@Hanneth Actually goldfish have longer attention spans than the majority of the human race.
The movies are like three hours long some people have a busy schedule.
Leche de caballo ok but end game was technically 3 hours long. So if you can watch end game you can watch LOTR
When you take an old trilogy or singular film, mix it with a modern trailer and it still ends up being awesome....that is when you have a timeless masterpiece.
Someone who doesn't know LOTR could think it's a brand new movie. Excellent job!
everything about the trilogy seems perfect even a decade and a half later
It's easy to work with great content
Somebody born today will
Great job
Mr. Krepshus downright good job.
Two of my favorites right there ^ amazing trailer
The man himself
Blow job
Mr. Krepshus You know you made it when Mr K compliments yiu
YES! THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT!
Generally, I hate fan-made trailers, because of the number of spoilers they include, meaning they don't work as actual trailers... but this! And covering a trilogy of movies without spoiling any of them! My word! This is perfect!
But this.. does put a smile on my face..
This just reminds me how incredibly important Howard Shore’s score is to the aesthetic of LOTR
"Infinity war style"
فعلاً hawrd shore اضاف عظمه لهذه الثلاثيه مع ثلاثية الهوبيت
Aaaaaand time to watch LotR again! This was awesome
Hunter Haller yess
Hunter Haller Make sure you watch the extended versions.
Reasons why I watch this trilogy once a year. Normally in the winter. Just feels right.
It's like meeting an old friend
Same, but gotta say having kids seriously puts a stop on that. Used to be annual, now it's been 4 years. lol
@@GregJoshuaW should make it that much sweeter the next time you get around to it.
@@davidsnow2581 I love it - yes!!! I still want to remake a IRL Hobbiton neighborhood to live in. I've got it designed out but obviously, don't have the 20 million it'll take to get it started right.
@@GregJoshuaW haha. Reminds me of those guys that wanted to build their own city of Minas Tirith sometime ago. The cost for that was a few billion.
People who’ve seen the movies: “Ahh shit, there and back again”
So underrated comment😂
LMFAO BRUHH
“ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS GET THE RING TO MORDOR CJ!!!”
I love this fandom.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
I watched a 'Behind The Scenes' documentary of the making of this trilogy and after seeing what the actors playing the other creatures of Middle Earth (Hobbits, Dwarves etc) went through just to put on the smallest bit of costume, I will never see the franchise the same again. So much work went into this masterpiece, so SO much work, and I applaud all of them.
"When the age of men comes crushing down" - Wall explodes. 😎
I thought this exact thing. So cool.
You sir are a damn genius. This is my favorite trilogy of all time, and you absolutely crushed this trailer. Great sound design as well!
You really need to somehow get involved in making trailers for actual studios. This is crazy good, the timing, the lack of spoilers, the dialogue it’s just awesome. Disney worthy work here.
well the sauruman being evil is probably the only spoiler, but the rest is great
@@tincanmaniac1931 I just saw Isengard surrounded by army of orcs attacking and he is shouting a defense spells on them :)

Better than disney. Disney is crap nowadays.
If you mean Star Wars, MCU is still decent.
@@blizz3975
Sorry whatever you think of the movies star wars has the best trailers in the game. Zero spoilers. 100% emotional nostalgic and epic. The Force Awakens advertising was pure excellence. Think what you will of the movies.
Lord of the rings is one of the most memorable movies
This is the power of post production.
This one is by far the highest quality one among the "Infinity War Style" trailers, in my opinion.

Pippen - so Elrond, about this plan of yours. I think it’s good, except it sucks. So let me do the plan and that way, it might be really good.
Gandalf: .....wow
👌 nice
That's basically how Boromir feels the entire time
Romuel the Knight in books too.
Savino 310 give this man an award! That was the only thing missing from LOTR.
Can’t give this enough likes.
How come I've never seen this before, 2 years I've lived without this masterpiece!
The video editor that was promised has returned
No matter how many box office Avenger series have won, the Load of the Ring is always my favorite.
Min Wang Avengers has broken records thanks to ticket inflation. In adjusted gross, it has yet to break even the top 20.
@@bradl8887 100% agree with you.
@@bradl8887 what? Endgame alone is already top 6 highest grossing of all time, behind gone with the wind, avatar, titanic, the original star wars and the sound of music. All adjusted for inflation. Plus it's not even out of theaters yet, it's being predicted to make at least top 3.
Is the Load of the Ring the porn parody starting Gandong and Dildo Baggins
@@jebus9001 He downloaded the wrong movie.

PERFECTION
So Hawkeye has been disguised as Legolas the whole time 🤔
American Ninja Productions or maybe the other way around 😁
Legolas would kill Hawkeye tbh, he's draws his now way too quickly, is agile as hell and has near perfect aim, he's an elf, while Hawkeye is a man so he should be overall more fast, coordinated and skilled
Erik Nagasaki really, this is another version of " Hulk vs. The Thing" discussion 😧
Stark calls Hawkeye legolas in avengers 1 😂😂
Pierluigi Di Pietro no... hulk can eat the thing for breakfast if he wants...
I watch these movies just about every time I have a snow day. Watching trailer made it feel like I've never seen them before it was amazing great job
Aragorn: Oh, yeah. You're much more of a Sauron.
Sauron: I take that Saurman is dead? This day extracts a heavy toll. Still, he accomplished his mission.
Aragorn: You may regret that. He brought you face-to-face with the king of Gondor.
Sauron: Where do you think he brought you?
Aragorn: Let me guess. Your home?
Sauron: It was. And it was beautiful. Mordor was like most kingdoms. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution.
Aragorn: Genocide?
Sauron: But at random, dispassionate, fair to rich and poor alike. They called me a madman, and what I predicted came to pass.
Aragorn: Congratulations. You're a prophet.
Sauron: I’m a survivor.
Aragorn: Who wants to whips out trillions.
Sauron: With the control of the one ring, I could simply snap my fingers. They would all cease to exist. I call that... mercy.
Aragorn: And then what?
Sauron: I finally rest. And watch the sun rise on a grateful Arda. The hardest choices require the strongest wills.
Aragorn: I think you'll find our will equal to yours.
Sauron: Ours?

You really nailed the candyfloss trailer style that's everywhere lately!
ALL ACTION
ALL QUIPS
Tides of iO Agreed. This treatment cheapens the story, in my opinion.
There is so much joy in my soul seeing this. Infinity War+LOTR=Yes.
This Is a Masterpiece. Simple as. Timing just perfect. Really knocked it out of the park this time around. Just jaw droppingly insane what you do!!!!!
If the power of the ring is making me seeing the extended trilogy 2 times every year... isildur mode on
I don’t think you understand how utterly perfect this is.
_Thank you_
Just one small flaw: All those scenes, were actually in the movie! Haha, other than that: Perfection!
hahahaha so true
Wym?
@@cucabeludo3596 Marvel is known for putting scenes in the trailer that don't actually occur in the film. an example would be Hulk in Hulk form running with the other Avengers in the trailer for infinity war, which we know all doesn't happen because he never changes form in the movie after getting whooped by Thanos in the beginning.

How is it possible that EVERYHING fits with LOTR universe ? Oh I know, because there is no story that can beat this mastapiece. LOTR for ever !
True lotr is the best
not judging but I think the mcu is better because they have spent time to build up an interesting and complex movie universe based not even on a book but comics
Mr Al that's a stupid argument. the MCU has actual philosophical, historical and sociological themes, while tolkien hated allegory so it's all void, and LOTR is racist. also there is no "superhero genre", the MCU is pure science fiction, the same way star wars, dceu and lotr are pure fantasy.
jesus mora ... Everything you mentioned that the MCU has is actually in LOTR... Especially if you read the books...
