I actually tried watching Witches of Amityville Academy about a week ago and I couldn't finish it. Aside from the fact that it had literally nothing to do with Amityville whatsoever, but it was just a bad movie in my opinion even if the filmmakers were trying to do something with it. The funny part about it is that it's supposed to be in "Amityville, New York", but clearly it was in the UK since you can see people driving on the left side of the road. There really is no point of it having the Amityville name.

I actually enjoy the Camp Blood franchise(except for the two DF ones) and Mark Polonia movies, no shame. Love how he uses the same actors and they seem to be having fun being in his movies. I know all the names of the main ones. Jeff Kirkendall is pretty much in all of them. 😊

Holy shit, there's some genuine anger in Amityville Legacy. We gotta remember people who make these are people like us, regardless of the quality. Josh, be sure to check out indie film "The Dawn" (2019). A good pal of mine, Ryan Kiser, is in the film, and it also stars indie horror actress Devanny Pinn. It's a slow burn of a film, but I actually enjoyed it. The ending may surprise you.

What I'm trying to say is reporters using selfie sticks is something I've had to get used to since moving back home. Wasn't always like this, mind, but it's not unusual for the weather guy have to do his own directing and graphics should something go awry.
You don’t actually need a license in order to make an Amityville film as it is technically a Public Domain Property, as while the original movie and book are still well under copyright the actual events surrounding them, that being the Lutz Haunting and the DeFeo Murders, are historical events in the same way WWII or the Sinking of the RMS Titanic are landing under the Historical Domain thus making it free to use and with Amityville being an actual village making it a free term there’s no one stopping them from slapping the title on there sh*tty no budget horror/thriller creating the endless cycle of Amityville movies.
