Think I read that the people that did these also did Chernobyl Diaries, which I went to go see due to my obsession with Chernobyl. I'll give the Paranormal Activity movies this - they actually set my expectations so low that I enjoyed Chernobyl Diaries way more than I thought I would.
Haven't commented in a while. Always love your sense of humor and it is much appreciated that you continually take one for the team to prevent us from suffering. LOL
I do like that the series tried to focus around the same basic story instead of just doing unrelated, but identical incidents with different families. However it would have been better if they came up with cooler practical effects in each sequel instead of doing the same tired effects and CGI. "V/H/S" was a great example of how to keep the found footage gimmick fresh and interesting. To answer some of your questions : 1) Yes people do break out the Ouija board when they suspect a ghost, its way cheaper than putting a camera in every room. 2) Katie must have used witch magic to buy the house, their honestly is no other logical explanation. Also Dude Bro Massacre 3 ;-)

Check out vids from early this year for “attack of the killer tomatoes.” There’ll be another comedy timeline coming up in the very near future, and I plan on an askewniverse timeline sometime as well. I was thinking about doing it when the have the jay and bob reboot, which i think should be sometime next year.

Loved the first two movies. Went into the third expecting a telling of what Katie and Kristi told about the haunting when they were kids. Right away, I suspected that wouldn't be the case because in the second movie, nothing was missing from the breakin. In the third movie, the box of videos that Katie brought were now the only thing missing. Also, in the second movie, their mom was supposedly still alive, but she was killed in the third movie. Granted, somebody could argue that the two girls had been brainwashed by the cult, but if that was the case, what about the neighbors and all of those kids at the birthday party? Wouldn't they wonder what happened to the family since they took off and never returned? Surely the cult wouldn't have been able to brainwash all of them. No fire was shown, which was mentioned in the first two movies and apparently was a major event in their lives. Granted, I have yet to see part 6, which just looks ridiculous. I watched the fourth and fifth ones only to just be able to say I watched them and gave them a chance. To me, the original movie (uncut original version) is a standalone movie. If they wanted a sequel, they should have just made the second one after releasing the theatrical version of the original and stopped before running the series into the ground.

I watched this first film, and when I was telling my friend about the ending, she told me that no the ending was different from the one she saw. We then read the back of the DVD box and discovered that several endings were made. I lost interest but then they did the one thing that could make me watch the film. They made the sequel a prequal. I liked it. I then watched the third one and discovered that Micah's death had always been destined because Katie had been part of a Coven of Witches or something who ALWAYS sacrificed the men in their lives. I lost interest after that.
This is not a timeline. A timeline would have started when the witch coven started or atleast the 80s when the first on-screen hauntings happen. A timeline is not all the movies summed up in order🤦♂️

So a real paranormal activity timeline would have started when toby was created or started haunting them, just like a real life timeline would start when earth was created. This video is not a timeline at all its just explaining what happened in all the movies.
Very awesome stuff. I had no idea that there was so many knockoffs. Now....unlike the Amityville stuff (which I did watch most of those knockoffs sadly)....I will not try to seek these out. Your line delivery and joke gags here and there are coming along nicely though. You have a pretty consistent increase in quality. I would love to see you tackle the Zombi series. Great movies...but man...trying to fit those in a timeline would be sorta nuts. Though I would only be talking about Zombi 2 through Killing Birds. Though you are welcome to try and explain the unofficial sequels.

Actually Paranormal Activity Tokyo Night is an official spin off. Paramount gave the rights to Paranormal Activity to the film maker behind this film and what I know only this film.
Man I actually like these movies, I feel like the first three were cool because in all the TH-cam videos the "demons" in the videos do this sort of thing but the demon in the PA movies does it at a larger scale and all the silence is because well it's a found footage film its ment to make things seem more real there's no music playing over stuff in real life but I wish 4 marked ones and ghost dimension were better.
I really hope you put more energy into your other videos, this one was my first and I only stayed through the whole thing for the explanation. You seemed really bored, even though you didn’t like the movies, other people did. All I’m saying is if you put a little more interest in the craft and not just something to do people like me may appreciate your channel more.

While the series/style may not be your thing, what did you think of the Tokyo "sequel"? It seems pretty clear that the other spinoffs are terrible, which makes sense. But what about that? Continuity issues aside, was it on par or somewhere in the same ballpark?
