Great video! I dont think many people would consider such an epic journey on a 125 machine, just goes to prove you dont need a huge adventure bike to have huge adventures! 👍🏻👏🏻
Probably do it on a 50cc if you wanted to some people even do it on a bicycle.
Yeah it is not typical for riders in Europe or North America. But think of all the Asian people, there is a 125ccm a hughe bike and the countries sometimes too. And they do also adventures but we never will know, cause they dont make a video or we can´t find it cause of search engine (other type of letters eg, and yt algorythm changed a lot last year)
Anyway smaller bike means bigger adventures. 👍👍👍👍
Speed limit for a 50cc in norway is just 45 kph and the uphill struggle would be VERY real on some of our steep uphills. I AM norwegian and obv used a 50cc a lot when young and as a grown up that is just not recommended. A 125 today has more than 40 hp if you buy the right one and that's PLENTY.@@chrishart8548 Now yuou can use a tuned 50cc with bolt ons and do say 14 hp but since the speedlimit is still just 45 kph etc and that's hard to do when the 50cc will do 100+ lol and the speeding tickets here in Norway are pretty damn harsh it will be a really expensive trip.
ya but some of us aint child sized, im 6'3" and 255lbs.... small bikes are cool, but its like a monkey humping a football for me.
I am 6'3 too but only 220and i havent found a single comfortable bike at all so idc but the fact is most are less than 6' so the majority can use a 125... @@john0270
Back in 1988... on a brand new Yamaha TDR 250, i did the legend route from Greece to Nordkapp. I remember that on this bike i was feeling like the king of the earth! No GPS, no mobile phones, absolutely nothing. I am proud to remember that i crossed the Berlin Wall. I bought gloves in Copenhagen! Until there i was riding without gloves. My jacket was a cheap Acerbis with nylon bags for isolating. My helmet was a Bieffe, a brand that does not exist anymore. There was no underground tunnel to Mageroya. There was a small ferry to pass you towards to Nordkapp. Watching your video you teleported me almost 40 years ago. I can not smell the 2 stroke engine, i can not feel the humidity of the Scandinavian land. But i can feel the willing of a rider to catch his dream. It is not what you ride. It is how you ride it. Thank you for this video. It is like you did what i missed to do 40 years ago... God bless you mate
Great comment dude, sounds like a one of a kind adventure you'll remember for the rest of your life
Don't need a Hayabusa for those little country roads :)))
You look 30 though
If i am close to 30, then you are newborn😅😅 Thank you!@@fahmiyusoff9154
Small is wonderful! Did an 8000km Dublin to Bergen round-trip on a 13yr old Honda 250 Rebel. Experienced 6 weeks of pure joy. Had a 3 man tent, deckchair and fiddle 🎻 strapped on the back as I pottered along through 7 different countries before reaching Norway. Travelled along the Fjordic route to Bergen. Gas getting on and off ferries with lads on GSs, HDs etc heading up further north. Unlike them, I was time rich.
Bike behaved perfectly. Great memories
Sounds amazing.
Yes, I did London - Nordkapp 1. on R1100RS, (my arms in agony) then, 2. Yamaha XT660z (with covid!) Much easier ride!@@Chris_Tinacan
this is amazing, thank you!
cheers from Ukraine and thank you for your help, Norway!
Just stunning! Thank you for the route details!
What a fantastic adventure on a classic 125 motorcycle. Love it! 🎉
Well done no talking great mood music and you left in the two stroke noise with fantastic views of Norway , quite a adventure on a 125 impressive.
Super video, tausend Dank.
Danke aus der Schweiz 😊
Amazing and spectacular masterpiece, breathtaking place , please continue to do videos like this, cheers from United States
Perfect, just perfect.
I largely did the same route 2 years ago and it was unbelievable, normay is for me the most beautiful country what i visited.
The people are friendly, the scenery is beyond breathtaking and the calmness is so soothing for the mind.
I loved the video, it showed the highlights of the lower part of Norway, the 2stroke sound, music, it was perfect just like in my memories when i was there 2y ago with my motorcycle.
Thank you for sharing❤
Great video!
Really good to see bike adventures on smaller capacity machines. It adds to the fun. I have great memories of my TZR125 in the UK. You have the rare version with twin headlights and sounds like you have the full power YPVS version too.
Really enjoyed watching this on a cold Sunday morning with a coffee, looking forward to the Spring.
Keep up the great video work!
Appreciate it!
It's a really nice little bike. I could only have dreamed of having one of those, I had a A reg honda cb125rs.
Bertram.... that was amazing. The choice of bike made it that much better and having that two-stroke hum in the background the whole way was brilliant - and you got the sound levels between the motor and the music spot on! Really great video, thanks for sharing it and showing us all the amazing scenery!
You can tell a story without saying a word. Very impressive video! It felt like 5 minutes.
This video is stunning, i am gobsmacked that this has so little attention, thank for for showing us this lovely ride, where abouts through Norway did you travel?
Waho a nice film and well cut together, not to forget the background music and the sound of a two-stroke in high revs - keep up the good work and you will get many thousands of followers ❤
Epic travels. I love the fairing and dash on this bike. The curvy roads are amazing.
Awesome video, bike, exhaust sound and beautiful place. Feels nostalgic! Lots of love from India.
Can you please tell me which camera you used on the helmet and did you have an external microphone? I really like the sound of a two-stroke motorcycle
Some of the clips I had an external mic. But not all the time. The gopro really just can't pick up on anything other than windnoise.
I used a gopro hero 6.
@bertramjansen0105 Thank you 🙂
My old bike is Yamaha TZM 150CC millennium (Malaysia),back in 2004 ride it for 2 yrs..Had to sold it to cover my wedding expence...The Pov,the hi rpm sound and 2t smell's, brings joy to me again.. thanks a lot!!
I really like this video. Voiceovers in many roadtrips are ultimately useless. Here, it's very descriptive and we live the moment with you. Finally, congratulations for having done this whole route in only 125!
I used to do this solo round Scotland on my 125, i kinda miss it now, you get forced into a certain headspace when you have no option to travel fast.
Love how youve put this mini film together.
Thank you.
Such an epic video! The choice of music, the cut, the scenery, everything comes together in perfect harmony. Thank you for sharing this journey of yours with us in such a beatiful way
Fantastic video Bertram! Enjoyed that a lot. 👌
What a well-made video. That the change between the scenes even works perfectly with the engine sound. I love it. The way u used the music and the engine music is just a symphony. Well done
Feels very relatable, did a massive roadtrip in my 850cc car. Lots of downshifts, gravel roads and incredible time!
thanks for video i really enjoyed watching
I have a KR/ZX150 two stroke and been traveling with it. You know, there's a different feeling riding a two stroke sport bikes for an adventure, it was so memorable
‼️ People are truly amazing ‼️
Thank you
🙏❤️ Love from Scotland ❤️🙏
well done! yes, it is possible - one does not need a large "adventure" bike to ride the world .... sure a 30 year old bike means higher risk for breakdowns, but if properly maintained and looked after, this risk is low. I just crossed Europe with a 1981 XT 500 last summer, with no problem.
This proves you can have an epic adventure on a 125cc. Whether you would want to is another matter.
Such an underrated channel. No irony, the only thing that keeping u is time when youtube algorithm will notice u. Keep doing ur videos man, and u will have 300k subs easy! I respect amount of effort put into ur vids. U should also show us ur camera settings
small displacement bikes are good for adventure and touring. the only problem is the fuel tank capacity. I like this video by the way. Norway is a beautiful country.
I remember back in the late 1960s a rider left Oregon and did a 7,000 round trip adventure ride to Alaska on a Hodaka 90.
Been riding 45 years now and I've always said you don't need a big bike to go touring, just take what you've got.
I owned one of those Yamahas in Thailand except it was 150cc. The TZR 150 . Minbe was red and white and went like shit of a shovel. I actually saw 180 kph on the clock , tucked in with my head down behind the fairing. Didn't feel very safe but was a real thrill to hear the engine screaming through the red line. Long time ago now.
10/10 video. Great job
such an awesome movie Bertram, thank you so much
beautiful, thanks for sharing!
nice video buddy, respect from indonesia. I hope one day I can travel like you
Nice trip and a cool bike to do it on! Merry Christmas from Sweden!
You too!🎄
Wow ! Total respect for this ! This video is a masterpiece ! Good job ✌🏻🗽🔥
This is so beautiful, it helped me feel peaceful
wow beautiful views❤, with ride 2stroke moto💯
good job👍🏻
when I see 2 strokes, automatically I subscribed! Hi from Malaysia! =)
I'm japanese Hashiriya,and we love 2stroke engine!
I expect those big Harleys had more hp in their starter motors than your little stroker! But you did a huge trip on that little machine and had just as much fun too. Great trip and film.
Grate moove..... I was in 2019 in Bergen, Stavanger, Perkestolen mountain... I want again to be there....
Great video! Beautiful journey! 👍🏍️💪
125cc, 25hp, that's really great, 4 stroke 125cc can't beat that. Love two stroke.
1200 km with 2 stroke engine, thats wild
You have a new subscriber! Keep making videos like this!
Subbed. I hope one day to have the privilege of taking a trip like this in such a beautiful country on my Moto Guzzi V7.
Epic!!! Not everyone is encourage to travel in a low cc 2 stroke, congrats!
Man that engine music is so sweet
Epic, you may be the last human to drive a smoker on this journey let alone a 125 more than thirty years old. One for the record books.
Flot film. Professionelt lavet. Less is more. Underlægningsmusikken passer rigtig godt også 🤠👍
What an amazing journey!
This is the answer to those that insist of buying 1200-1300 cc bikes for travelling 😂😂.
Greetings from Athens city -Greece
great sounds of bike.... very inspirational... i think maybe i will start a journey
great video and nice bike!!!
Hi bro I love ur content it's so calm and beautiful, please upload more videos about ur other journey, its been 2 months u didnt up a new video
So you have Yamaha 125cc 2 stroke vintage model, God blesses you always and enjoy your safe ride ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Enak.....sepi jalanx....buat betah utk turing
Nice video, and nice bike that's a yamaha tzr 125 right? anyway i was skeptical about riding a "sport" 125 on gravel and other rougher roads but now thanks to this video i see that it is possible thanks for that i didn't see it elsewhere.
Thank you Bertram was amazing , how to get those cabins ?:D
Awesome vlog........
1 word: wonderful!
this deserve a million views.
What camera did you use?? Holy moly. Dream trip
Amazing
It's not about what you ride but how well do you connect yourself to your bike sometimes❤️
Beautiful country..amazing👍TQ
you have balls for doing this with a 2 stroke, i would never road trip with a 2 stroke lmao
Great video. My friend wants to know why you turned your engine off at 41 mins in?
that's a cool bike honestly
Loved my TZR back in the day, not sure I'd have trusted it over massive distances though :)
Hah! I saw your Licence-plate :D
oh yeah 2 stroke never DIE
I wouldn't say "never" though...😊
Super nice road super nice ,,,unlike in our country indonesia,,,the roads is unbelievably bad
Hi, I really nice and inspiring adventure. I assume you went to Norway from Denmark, how did you go there? Just Ferry+Main roads until you hit the route you shared?
I really wish to do something like this on my bike I just bought a month or so ago.
Hello, you are one of the motorcycle riders with a strong spirit, which country are you from?
Super video 😊 En opplevelse for livet 😊
Hey bro. Great video. How was it in terms of comfort? Ive heard smaller sized bikes are often less comfy. Are you used to it maybe? Or are yamaha quite good, considering? Id love to hear your thoughts.
I too had a 1991 Yamaha TZR 125 back in the day. Your headlights are custom? My had one square headlight.
Ohh I miss geiranger i been there more than 30x i saw the water falls before entering to the port
Bravo!
well done... very inspiring, visually stunning! +1 subs
so beautiful 😍😍
Well done, a nice dinner movie.
Autolube lives!
Never imagined 125cc would be so powerful. We could only imagine 26hp in 250cc in our country 😢.
Nice video bro
As someone just owning a 110cc matic scooter I was like, yeah another world touring on a small bike.. but 125cc in a 2-stroke is more than just a 125cc bike hahaha (but the gas use is, oh forget it)
Sorry only German.Die Hütte ist ja der Hammer.Wo genau war das denn?
