+AtlantisIsSinging I get a feeling of awkwardness from Grace whenever he does that. Plus, the girl was eating, let her freaking eat and keep the thought to yourself lol
I don't normally comment but I have been watching your videos for over a year and you are so inspirational and may I say your hair is now extremely long!!! Ryoske is absolutely hilarious and you are amazing! You make an amazing team! あるがとう!わたしの おかあさんわ にほんぎん です!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finding someone that you can spend the whole day eating with, it like the definition of true love. You guys are so sweet. #relationshipgoals (Idk if I hashtagged that right, I don't typically use them, but you guys are an exception. :) )
I enjoy your videos so much. I have always wanted to live in Japan, but I enjoy my life in the United States too much to leave it all behind. but It doesn't stop me from dreaming. I live my Japanese fantasy vicariously through your videos. thank you for sharing so much of your life with all of us.
They picked the right couple for this video because you guys are good, happy and moralistic people. I love the way you guys share food and I have read some of the comments and people really like how your videos pick them up when they are down it applies to me too, love you both :-)
I'm always anticipating the- "mmm..." *closes eyes* "oh, it's so good" reaction Grace has every time she eats really good food because it's the same in every food video hahah
I used to live near a public water spring. It was always cold and tasted so much better than tap water. I would do the same thing as the old people and just fill up HUGE jugs of it...
I had the dragon*s beard candy as well when I was in Chichibu about 2 years ago. I remember posting about it on Instagram and it was so hard to explain to people what it is, but it was SOOOOOOOOO delicious! Definitely one of my favorites. :)
So interesting! I just got back from Mexico City on a vacation and they were serving up these things called Huaraches ... this translates to "sandal" in spanish if I'm not mistaking. It's also fried and a similar shape, although it's more of like a thick tortilla with toppings on it. That said, the pronunciation is VERY similar. Waraji (Japanese) to Huarache (Spanish, silent "H") ... coincidence?
+stvsueoka1 It could be because some Portuguese influences came to Japan when they opened the country up, because I know 'pan' for bread came from Portuguese, so maybe it's something similar? Just a thought :)
Victoria Vidaud OK, now you got me looking stuff up all over the internet hahaha .... I just looked up the Portuguese translation for the word sandal and it's "sandália". Not sure if there are other similar words in Portuguese that are closer. Then I looked on Wikipedia and it seems as if both of these words are liked to eachother in the "See Also" sections on each profile! .... Here's where the mystery deepens. They say the word "Huarache" is derived from the (Pre-Columbian Mexico) Purepecha language and their word "kwarachi" which is even closer to the Japanese version of the word! There has to be some connection hahaha
どれもおいしそうですね。かえでのサイダーって変わってますね。味が想像できないので、飲んでみたいです。 All these look tasty. Maple syrup cider is unique. I can't imagine how taste of it. I want to drink it.
Being from Canada I would like the Maple cider :D and Sake Manju seems interesting the rest of the food made my mouth water so good job making me hungry ;)
The food looks amazing! I am so envious of you guys. I'm not also on the hunt for 'Maple Cider' as that just sounds heavenly! It's really interesting to see the different foods on offer in Japan and especially that these vary from prefecture to prefecture. We sadly do not really have that in the UK; a lot of our food is the same no matter where you go. Truth be told, we don't have many unique foods in our country (unless you wish to count 'Fish'n'chips' or ' the great Cornish Pasty'?!). The idea that food varies so much depending where you visit in Japan really intrigues me and I am so looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for sharing this; as always you guys rock and I love Ryosuke's interjection at the end! :) All the best! Chris
Thanks for posting and sharing your unique experiences! Would you ever consider doing an episode about your daily go-to items for breakfast/lunch/dinner (especially the cheap and easy stuff)? Transitioning into a regular Japanese diet would be an intriguing story.
Have they ever eaten any food that is NOT good? I'm so jealous. And hungry. And poor. Why do I keep watching these videos? Because of the cuteness of course :)
Hello from Canada! We have maple cider here as well, but we traditionally drink it hot! If you get your hands on another bottle you should try warming it up. :)
one of the biggest things that was always stopping me from visiting japan was the food. where i live, "japanese food" is either typical western sushi, or various traditional "delicacy" type foods (which as we know in MOST cultures means "you're not gonna like this..."). We have no options to try out more common "every day" type foods, so I was worried that I would arrive and have a hard time finding anything edible.. Im super happy you made this type of video showing people that there is a huge variety of all different kinds of foods in japan. definitely something for everybody. I always look forward to your videos. you do such a great job of showing what japan is REALLY like
From the videos I've seen, I've come to imagine Japan as a nation of people eating, then being shocked that the food is good. It's almost all you see. :)
sometimes it seems like he might be reaching epic on the sarcasm level, then he says the freaking sweetest stuff to Grace and turns into the best hubbybestfriend all mushed together. You two are too cute
I love the background sound...Brazilian music. Thanks for sharing. I'm really sorry you are no longer updating us on Japan and your lovely experience together.
Oooh! We have something similar to Dragon's beard in Singapore. It is rolled to look like a silkworm, or a finger shape, but it's very lightly rolled so it's much easier to fall apart when holding it. Same filling of peanuts on the inside.
I am so hungry now. Here in Sacramento we have a Pacific Rim festival with lots of great food but what you had there most of it was different and looked very good. I want to try it all.
I'm a new subscriber. Wanted to say that after watching a few of your vids, I can't help but think your videos have improved quite a bit! Also, you're so beautiful, I can't even.
drooling from all the amazing oishii food you (grace) and Ryosuke get to eat!!! Minus the crunchy cause I'm not huge fan of foods that are super crunchy when biting into/chewing
I'm so hungry now! Thank you for the food videos. It helps me because when I make the hour-long trip to the Asian supermarket I have things to hunt for. =)
I actually tried the dragon's beard candy once in my country when there was this person doing a demonstration of making it in the mall and giving them away. but I didn't know what it was that time, I do know that it's really good!
I love how Ryosuke is just constantly flirting with Grace. You two are so cute.
Forever on the honeymoon... He is so sweet.. But Grace is also sweet too.. Perfect match
+AtlantisIsSinging I get a feeling of awkwardness from Grace whenever he does that. Plus, the girl was eating, let her freaking eat and keep the thought to yourself lol
+Kafka Luna I think it is super sweet and if it really annoyed her she wouldn't be with him. she loves his little quirks.
Everyone need a Ryosuke in their life,
Happy wife happy life 🎯
"I just love the way you eat food. So elegant sophisticated, Grace." LOLOL That sounded so sarcastic.
"I just love the way you eat your food...so elegant! So sophisticated!" Hee.

Oh my gosh... everything looks so oishii! I had to laugh when you were scolding Ryosuke about touching the fake food.
I had the dragon*s beard candy as well when I was in Chichibu about 2 years ago. I remember posting about it on Instagram and it was so hard to explain to people what it is, but it was SOOOOOOOOO delicious! Definitely one of my favorites. :)
+Jasmine T. Blossom Ah, that's so cool you got to eat it too! Man, you've been everywhere!
+Texan in Tokyo I wish! There are still a few places I haven't been to! ;P

I just found your channel! you guys are too cute together! :3 *sending blessings in your way*
Being Canadian, and by extension, completely enamoured with maple syrup, I must try that drink. It is now on my list of things to try.
+Thimaspe Go for it! That was pretty good!
one of the biggest things that was always stopping me from visiting japan was the food.

From the videos I've seen, I've come to imagine Japan as a nation of people eating, then being shocked that the food is good. It's almost all you see. :)
+Athlynne Well, one of my favorite things in the world is eating. So I'm pretty much happy wherever - as long as they have food :)
Just be careful. Fukushima radiation is now showing up in Florida's fruit.
Grace, you look very pretty in every video that you make, but this time you look even prettier than usual! Really enjoyed the video
more food videos! i'll be in japan next week... can't wait to eat all the things!
Dragon's Beard - Holy moly, that stuff is so good. Bought it in Montreal Canada's Chinatown!

My husband watched this with me....he picked up the fake food too! And was REALLY surprised to find real among it. Ha ha!!
I've come to realize, all you guys do IS EAT ALL DAY!
I'm so hungry now! Thank you for the food videos. It helps me because when I make the hour-long trip to the Asian supermarket I have things to hunt for. =)
