Hi! I'm an American 18 year old. And I have honestly been super nervous about going off to live on my own. I want to be a comic book artist in Japan, that's my goal. And these videos have actually helped me. Well, not with moving preparations or anything like that, but it really calms my nerves and replaces the fear and anxiety of becoming an adult with excitement. I turned 18 a few weeks ago so I'm still in school, and next I want to study Japanese while going to art school in Seattle. I hope I can make it! I really just wanted to say your videos have...inspired me in a way. You are living the life I have been dreaming of for years now. The thoughts of living on my own have been haunting me. But at least right now, I feel confident and excited for the future. :3 Hope you have an awesome day.

I've really loved this series of videos. I especially love how you use chill, relaxing music for all the b-roll instead of the generic youtubey pop songs so many others use. It really accentuates the feeling of the locales you're showing and makes the whole vacation seem relaxing and fun.
I appreciate the Sound editing. The music was always turned down when there was dialogue and it was always loud enough to be clearly heard. Subtle, but enjoyable detail. Also it was cool to hear the forest so full of life!

I love your videos where you show the different foods of Japan and how to eat them. It certainly encourages me to go out of my comfort zone a little bit more. :) It helps me a lot seeing what the different foods on the menu look like and how they are eaten.

I went to japan once on the Kakehashi project. I don't know if you heard of it but I had a BLAST. My host family was super kind to me. I plan on going to a university in Osaka. I miss Japan so much >.< I love your videos. It takes me back. I hope I get to live there one day as well.
