- Ask your amp questions and I'll try to answer them. With coffee.
I hope some of the questions I couldn't get to last time are asked again, and hint hint: the earlier in the chat you ask a question the better the chance of it being answered, as I do three hours and it takes a while to get through as many as I can.
Please only ask your question once - I'll answer it as soon as I see it on my screen - and please start any questions with ???
It helps me to see the questions opposed to just regular chat stuff. Thanks. - บันเทิง
thanks, Lyle for your knowledge and candor. Always enjoy the videos, especially the long ones! I will never be a tach but then again I will never be Hendrix either...stil it is fun to learn new things.
Thanks for all the great info!
Great live stream again! Hope you had a good 4th!
Thanks again, Lyle, for sharing you're knowledge and opinions. You give so freely and owe us nothing. Always look forward to your videos.
Glad I went back and watched this again this evening. I checked in late live today after the first intermission. I inquired about your perspective on Rivera 30 12's and was hoping to hear some perspective. Of course Rivera's came up in the first segment before I signed on. Thanks all the time you spend coaching us up. There are an handful of people who hold in high regard on TH-cam and you're certainly up there. Thanks
You're not over exposed. It's ok, no worries
The chords you're playing on the intro sound like a song on the Obscured by Clouds album by Pink Floyd
So they should. Though I messed up one bit, as holding the guitar up in frame is unnatural.
What’s Uh the Deal, if you’re wondering.
@@PsionicAudio, that's an obscure choice indeed! I like early Floyd; a particularly "nice pair" 😉 is Meddle and Atom Heart Mother, but Piper, Ummagumma, Saucerfull of Secrets and the rest are all good. I still have most of that stuff on vinyl. BTW, there's a fascinating documentary film about HipGnosis, the art/photography studio that did so many covers for the Floyd and others. The name is now owned by a venture capital/ investment group that specializes in buying up entire artist's song catalogs, ugh.
@@PsionicAudio I didn't notice that you messed up when playing the chords
Yeah, the G walkup before the first D7. I’m not used to holding the neck up with my left hand.
The Jensen P10r- FEN is standard issue in the 64 Custom Princeton Reverb- it's pretty similar to the stock p10r but has quite a bit of top end rolled back, which can be pretty useful, depending on what you're looking for.
I can't believe I missed the live stream but I was buying a new amp. Maybe I can ask my questions next time.
Hi Lyle, good to see ya again.
Hope you had a decent 4th.
Q: A little while back,
I asked the question about my VHT/FRYETTE pitbull 50 cl on how can power reduce from pentode and down a bit further (triode?).
Can I use an attenuator, and if so, do you have any suggestions? ie, fryettes version; rivera version; etc.
What are suggestions? The pitbull sure is a power amp ...
Thanks again,
GB

I'm wondering if you shouldn't be wearing keyhole bridge glasses. Love the content.
