"if you hear anything, let me know" 11:22 Funny enough, after you track down the van and its occupants, and if you try calling Jeff before Elizabeth, you get his voicemail once or twice before the calls stop going through altogether, and V says something like "Hmmm weird..." Whoever is pulling the strings, is making sure you talk to Jeff as little as possible, and instead wants you talking to Elizabeth. My guess is she is for more under the influence of the AI than Jeff so far. There are a lottt of small details and reasons that I think Elizabeth is totally compromised and cannot be trusted, while Jeff is still able to be saved.
Think about it: They have her compromised, have her working Jeff. After V is hired, her role is to throw V off as much as possible without tipping V off. She, and the AI, desperately need V NOT to tell Jeff whats going on. The "it doesn't matter what you do" call is just a scare tactic because if it truly doesn't matter, why bother with the call? Everything we see AI do is extremely deliberate and calculated, so calling V isn't for no reason. But if Jeff suspects something's up, he's much harder to take control of as shown by the different endings for the mission: If you don't tell him, he calls V wanting his help clearing homeless camps for the city and doing other fascist/autocratic-adjacent stuff, likely siding with Militech against Arasaka's control over the city. If you do tell him what's going on, then instead the post-credits call is him pleading for V's help in making sense of everything going on, as he is totally unable to trust anything in his life anymore, including his wife who is trying to get him to take some kind of pill he's unsure of. If Jefferson, as knowledgeable and in-control as we can ever possibly see him, can't trust his own wife, why should we? Every step of the way, Elizabeth only confesses what she knows after V or Jefferson finds out. The intruder, (she mentions she saw a different person once and did nothing), the room, the people spying on her. She and Jeff's memories being tampered with. All information she withholds until V figures it out first. And, of course, she doesn't want V telling Jeff. I don't think she's doing it on purpose obviously, and might not even know about it herself, but Elizabeth's agenda and decisions line up basically 1:1 to what it seems like the mastermind to all this wants as well.
Every single point made is accurate! And I do share the same suspicion when it comes to Elizabeth. One thing bothering me tho is when you initially walk into their penthouse you hear Jeff on the phone complaining about Night Corp. Which was a clever bit of foreshadowing. He's refusing to act in their favour and basically says "I'm not gonna suck anyones D just so they can F me in the A*ss". Night Corp, a company that has invested so so much time and money into him...and now he has grown a moral and doesn't want to be shady. They opt for mind-control to achieve their goals while Jeff maintains his clean outward image. This way, everyone just thinks "Oh, that noble mayor helped NC a few times but there's nothing to worry about since he's a good guy." So people won't question the occasional benefits to Night Corp if the mind control goes well. Also quite telling, in old photos Jefferson is dressed like a normal guy. But once the mind control starts taking hold he basically wears the same suit that Mr Blue Eyes wears.
True but... she tells V he has a dead brother and confimation of this is shown at the colombarium where a niche shows the Paralez brother buried there. So its not all lies.
Honestly the blue eyes thing i think it has more to do with transferring data (like the AI is using the guy as an avatar) since those same blue eyes happen everytime someone pays you or are doing net stuff.
You're right. And thats something I've been thinking about alot. I suppose you could theorize that he is constantly transferring and receiving mind control data from Night Corp. Almost like a combat drone constantly coordinates and data from the control centre
@@relaxedswede I mean it's just a theory and it's a bit more straightforward than yours (not saying yours is wrong. For all we know we are both wrong haha). What is truly concerning is that if everything we are thinking in this video is true then sending so mi to the moon and stealing the client data at the Crystal palace is aiding something that wants to actively murder humanity.
I agree. The blue you see in the brain maps is just a simple representation of differences between original neuron connections and the new ones introduced, but not an indication that their brain is literally turning blue. The rest of this seems like a solid theory though. The Mr Blue Eyes / Garry / Nightcorp / Maelstrom rabbit hole remains extremely fascinating!
Every time someone communicates or processes any data their eyes lights up in different colors. Watch Jackie's eyes lighting blue when he inserts the relic. Why that happens? Maybe because the eyes are nothing more than monitors that project the information you see. But that makes no sense when you replace the whole eye with an implant. I think it's nothing else then a cool ingame trick . So as you can see the eyes lighting means some sort of data processing that the user sees. But why is mr. Blue eyes in a constant data processing mode then? Maybe because it is CONSTANTLY controlled by a rogue AI who got through Blackwall and is in hiding mode, and trying to covertly take over all companies and positions of power through humans (like Jefferson). Maybe it already took over Night Corp.
Great video BTW. 17:17 Mr Blues is immune from Emp grenades, got a direct hit on him twice. The phone call prior to the Jefferson meeting is obviously a threat and threats mean the party doing the threatening is scared, scared that you will change things by infoming Paralez. I have done it both ways (tell him the truth or lie to him) and its really sad that his call at games end shows that he is extremely paranoid and that is a horrible way to live, so the best outcome for him is to be ignorant (ignorance is bliss). On the other hand other than the paranoia, they certainly didn't make Jeff have "an accident" so... What are we to believe... Mr Blue Eyes is using the blackwall and will toast V like Song did to the NUSA soldiers at the end of Killing Moon space port? His eyes aren't red (blackwall). 20:18 Johnny tells us (maybe he doesn't know the truth?) that Alt was building the Crystal Palace for Kang Tao so why would Arasaka be running it?
Your comment made me think of that Rick & Morty episode when they created Meeseeks. One of the meeseeks said "Existence is pain to a meeseek" and that's kind of how I feel about Jeff Peralez. Existence is pain for him when he learns the truth. When he is left in the dark he is not in pain but who knows how much they alter his neural network. Can he remember his childhood? His child? His life-long friends? Who can say. Yeah, Mr Blue Eyes could be capable of anything. I also wonder how he has so much access at Orbital Air? He was walking in areas where someone who works for Night Corp would not be allowed. I don't think he can use the Blackwall like V and So-mi...yet.

Honestly, the first impression of Mr blue eyes to me is the demon who had a deal with olgreid and used Gerald as a proxy or a tool to get olgreid souls in the dlc heart of stone in the Witcher 3. Both of them are pretty spooky and scheming, except the demon has some twisted sense of humor.
I can see that. For me I missed Mr Blue Eyes completely on my first playthrough (wen't with the devil ending coz I liked Hanako). On my second playthrough I saw him during the Dream On quest and have been keeping an eye out ever since. He's constantly scheming!
Songbird literally calls him a "proxy" when she describes him as a blue eyed corpo everyman for the ages. Proxy is what they called Hanako's doll messenger (her eyes also have a steady glow, but red). So it's likely he's just a meat suit with someone else (an AI? Morgan Blackhand?) driving.

We know Rogue went and worked for corps after said raid, could SM also have gone to work for Night Corp, or maybe even been taken forcefully by them? Anyway, another awesome video, loving how much effort you're pumping into these Choom
Thanks Choom! It's been super fun learning how to make videos and trying out different stuff. Hoping to get a new PC this christmas so my editing can go to the next level. The major leagues so to speak. And yeah, it's very possible that Spider Murphy was taken by Night Corp. After Arasaka took Alt, both Night Corp and Militech were desperate to keep up. So I'm thinking Militech went with Cynosure and NC had to also make a big move to not fall too far behind
Might be crazy thought but , is it possible that “Alt “is Spider Murphy remember we only see Alt as Alts image because , of Johnny .I also find it weird Johnny doesn’t acknowledge Alts grave . What really made me wonder was all the weird stuff Alt says to V when hooked up to Mikoshi sounds more like a Spider Murphy ( talking about Bats and Nats and Cats and stuff during the 2023 raid)then Alt when walking up to what looks like a Pyramid talking about seashells and stuff with V ( Mr hands owns a club Heavy hearts with means you go to heaven cause it was heavier then a feather in Egyptianaslogy has two paintings one of the God Horus the other of Set playing cards good and evil) also don’t know if Dekard ( Deck of Cards ?)Blackjack maybe what there playing ? is alive or not due to Claire at the Afterlife and him having no drink after him… anyways … I think Alt is alive and Spider took her place maybe and Alt is with Kang Toa and Hellman was going to see her remember according to Takimura he didn’t make the Relic which during the Heist with Jackie Saburto and Hanako talked about destroying before it fell into the wrong hands … interesting 🤔 and it’s all just a cover that possibly even Rogue knows that Alt is alive . And that’s Spider instead . I also think Johnny is too perhaps if anyone knows that this isn’t possible please correct me. All I know is all these “Mysteries wrapped in Riddles” like Song says is driving me Nuts 😆
@@Artika.In the story Black Dog, a woman named Angel helps smuggle Johnny's body out of Arasaka and it's pretty heavily implied that Angel is Alt, or at least part of her engram, in a cloned body. So, it's totally possible they are both out there, somewhere. My thoughts on Spider are that Arasaka sent Johnny out in to the world looking for her. Him being a sleeper agent would explain the edits in his memories, especially the one where he is Soul Killed, which categorically did not happen. They would have had to use the program on his dead body, which as we see from what happens to Jackie, doesn't yield results anywhere near what we see with Johnny and that "memory" would help hide this from anyone who went digging in his head, or who's head he ended up in.
@@Artika. LayedBackGamers do a good narration of Black Dog. And that's the lesser of my tin foil hat theories about Johnny, the other being that a Wild A.I (I call the ones beyond the wall that to distinguish between them from rogue A.I) either found a way through the wall like the one who blasted Del apart did or made a deal with the Blackwall* to get into Mikoshi and make it's escape in to the real world and is playing Weekend At Johnny's with his engramatic data. *I don't think Netwatch are capable of building an A.I as advanced as the Blackwall as they can't even break into the VDB's subnet and also because nothing else like it exists; why would they not do more with this level of technology? I think it's more likely they somehow brokered a deal with it, although who knows what they could have possible offered it.. maybe a flesh suit? As I'm writing this, I'm realising I have a lot of crackpot theories about this universe.
We’ll Orbital Air Security seems to have no probably with him Unless that’s what the two guards are actually there for looking for him when he’s watching you from the tower . Mr. Blue eyes watching ever step of the way
I see...never truly paid attention there to find the homeless man. Mr Blue Eyes seems to have a way with words though. I'm thinking if he can convince V to go steal user data from Space and he can convince Songbird to go to the moon then we can probably find someone who works at Orbital Air and get special access to do his thing. Especially if that Orbital Air employee is in a desperate situation.

They did him dirty! When I first finished the quest I went on Reddit and people were so mad at Elizabeth for hiding what she knew but I kinda get it. If I had their life and there was 1 secret I needed to maintain in order to keep that lifestyle...chances are high most of us would keep the secret. If nothing else, just out of fear.
It would be cool if they were one and the same. But I think they are different characters. Honestly tho, I think Mr Blue Eyes was somewhat inspired by the illusive man
Anyone mind telling me what happens when you try to shoot him after speaking with Peralez as mentioned in the video? Couldn’t find anything on it and it would be a long way back in my save.
Yeah, I can help here. If you shoot him or try to attack him in any way it won't work. He is unkillable. Which makes The Blue Eyed Man even more mysterious

@@alexandertiberius1098 I’ll need to check Black Dog out thanks .
Johnny being a sleeper Agent… 🤔 I could see that .
Also before you get in the van with Song there is a Homeless man but we find out from the Shard he seems to to have been on a stakeout but… when you get there don’t walk up to him he has permanent blue eyes until you walk up .
@@relaxedswede also the Delamains interest me you one messages you that there Earthbound watch for them and later when in King of Swords ending you ask your Del how’s life without a owner for two years and Del responds something along the lines of it’s been ok I get signals from time to time( we know why such a complex system is a Taxi company now and Rental car company’s due to the what was it the relays around the City that we need to fix during the Twins Stakeout and why Ashley has us wipe the data from the car later on ) (fun fact: the building name that we are on is called Orion during twins stakeout ) from the others Dels we are always advancing and one even Managed to leave Earth .
The trailers dropped literally after they were showcased at E3. I'm not trying to give you a hard time lol, I figure I would let you know incase you wanted to do another video on the subject and needed to reference the trailers.
I can't find who the voice actor for Mr. Blue Eyes anywhere. He sounds like Misha Collins, Castiel on Supernatural. I'm pretty sure it's not him though. Nobody is credited with the role on IMDB either.
Tried looking for him too but found nada! I think CDPR is keeping his identity hidden by design
Morgan Blackhand as a AI meat suit
when v receives the call from the garbled voice does erebus or canto say anything i havent tested that out yet
Good question. Honestly I'm not sure. I do have a fresh run going so I can test it out soon
strangely you will receive a notification from Orbital Air mentioning Garry the Prophet's name.
I haven't received this yet. But cool if true
@@relaxedswede maybe just play a lil bit more before finishing the game
Feel sorry for Jonathan peralez. He is a good man being used , manipulated. Even his own wife is keeping secrets from him.
Mr Blue Eyes/ Morgan Blackhand = Armitage/ Colonel Willis Corto… Neuromancer answers all
Neuromancer is the truth
So sending So Mi to the moon is not that good of an idea i recon...
Obviously she gets healed on the moon if you send her there. But we don't know what Mr Blue Eyes is going to demand of her for the help he provides...
@@relaxedswede do we know the text is from her though and not from blue eyes or an AI pretending?
Good point! @@certanmike
Is mister blue eyes the ilusive man since they look simular and if there making space ships i can see a conectshion
While Mr. Blue Eyes while drinking his drink on the Shuttle, they are most likely coming from Crystal Palace. LOL, It was always playable with no issues on a PC if you had the right setup.... LOL, console users... BLAH!!
I can't understand what you mean.
Blackhand merged with Bartmoss or one of his RABBITS maybe ?
I have a feeling we won't see Blackhand for a while so this is a new individual that CDPR created. At least that's how I view it
Isn't Jenkins the guy in the shuttle?
No, I don't think it's Jenkins. I think Jenkins is the guy looking at a big screen in a dark room.
If he’s a servant or proxy. He’s working for JUDY ALVAREZ
I wish Judy had that kind of influence. Maybe she would've saved Evy then
