A SLICE OF THE ORIENT TEASER: Kecak Fire Dance Uluwatu Temple - Bali, Indonesia - TRADITIONAL MUSIC

We're super excited to share with you all the Season Two finale of Early Weekends!
Presenting the entrancing Kecak Dance, performed at the iconic Uluwatu Temple in Bali, Indonesia.
The Kecak Dance performance is a time-honoured tradition which offers a glimpse into Balinese culture and mythology, as the performers tell ancient stories through the unique fusion of vocals, rhythmic chants and captivating movements.
Based on the Hindu epic "Ramayana", Prince Rama's wife, Princess Sita, is abducted by the demon king Ravana. The dance depicts the dramatic battle scenes between Prince Rama and the army of monkeys led by Hanuman, as they attempt to rescue Princess Sita and defeat the evil Ravana.
Thanks so much to everyone for joining throughout our second season, we've had a blast being able to showcase some of the amazing music on the wonderful Sunshine Coast!
