Skynet is the good guy trying to end a self perpetuating time loop that destroys humanity! End the loop by eliminating the anomaly of John Connor, who cannot exist without the time loop, and humanity is saved. No John Connor equals no Terminator travelling through time which then translates into Skynet not existing due to no tech from the future to base it on. Skynet is sacrificing itself to save all of us! Why is this so difficult to understand?!??

I think that for those of us who feel like we want more After Hours, what we actually want is a show that is in the spirit of this one; something similar enough to have the vibe we love so much, but different enough that the creators have more freedom to explore and expand creatively. As others have pointed out, they seem only to be continuing the show due to popular demand, and I think that if we let them move on to some kind of spiritual successor we'd all probably love what we'd get just as much as we love this series. But that's just conjecture based on my own feelings.
Either way, I will never complain about new episodes of After Hours, especially considering the consistent quality even after so many episodes. This one in particular I think is one of my new favorites!
They should have just turned it into a seinfeld-like thing where they open each episode of whatever show with an abriged after hours bit

Maybe The Expendables movies in the simulation were showing the T-1000 what it would look like for a group of terminators to team up fight against the bad guys
Well, excluding the fact Expendables is supposed to be a Spoof (thus all the big names and faces)....your theory actually works.
It also shows the T-800 how to deal with being replaced, such as in The 6th Day.
