I remember it was on a reel tape and was fascinated by your music , looking the tape reel turning ...of course as French I did not understood the lyrics but I did not care. I've been following the Ig since I first heard "Raw Power" on Friday, 7th December 1975 at 3.20pm. Back then, he was a homeless junkie who was at an all-time low. His brilliant Stooges albums were deleted, and he was universally derided by almost everybody. Only his good friend Bowie stood by him. Fast forward forty-eight years later, he has his own radio show and now has money in his pocket. The naysayers are all dead, and he had the last laugh. "Every Loser" is a great album. Good luck to him. Iggy Pop has been a class act since 1969.

Saw Iggy and the Stooges with James Williamson on guitar at the Big Day Out in about '11. Almost got heat stroke drinking in the sun all afternoon and jumping around in the crowd but it was worth it.

This is so awesome. Two of my greats recollecting with each other. I wanted to play the guitar, born in 75, in the mid 80s my mother scolded me, "you want to play devil worship". But now that I'm almost 50 I realize what I love the most about music is the bass guitar. I think that it resonated in me when I heard Cliff Burtons Bass solo on the "Ride the Lightning" Album. I told my wife I want a bass guitar for this Christmas and an amplifier.
