New Values is one of Iggy’s finest records. How great it would be to go back in time and see one of these shows live. And to grab some of the promotional posters in that record store! Thanks very much to the poster of this video for giving us the next best thing.
Just discovering Iggy Pop for the 1st time in 2023. What a doll.!!! His Music is incredible. I'm in love for the 1st time.!! Where are you Iggy?? Please call!!!
My first Iggy concert was the Idiot Tour, with Bowie on keyboards. I was 14. I've seen Iggy, more then any other artist. I always will love Iggy. Super nice and sweet!
Such a relief to see a *real* person opposed to all the Motly Cruds and Bon Jovis . Although not so sure about most of his post 70's work when he made some compromises to get on radio. Although it was impossible to maintain that early 70s manic intensity which might've killed him eventually . As Jim stated ..... he had no intention to bear a cross or die for rock'n roll. These days he lives in well deserved comfy Florida domesticity .
The CONCERTS however still shook to sublimity, well into this century, and of the 500 rock concerts I've seen, Iggy at the Hollywood Palladium in 2011 was one of the greatest, yep, sublimity itself. I have witnesses. Ohhhhh yeahhhhhhh.
trip out!!! RESPECT!! to the people that were struggling threw this hell called earth, and arn't alive anymore, at least you got to see bitchin rockn roll shows!!!
The moment where Jim stops the fight... Damn... He stopped a show for me once when the crowd got too rough and started crushing us in the front. I am still suffering from injuries from that show 32 years later, but so grateful. Jim is one of a kind.

I can't imagine my life without iggy. He's my true hero. Real, funny, intelligent and bears the true spirit of rocknroll and art.
Yes. He is 1 of the few (artists) who never manicured his music.

"And maybe that's what makes Iggy... Pop" - great comment. And talk about dead-pan delivery :D.
Though I have never personally met Iggy, I worked for him, in the fall of '93.
