- Is the LEGO Creator 3in1 Retro Camera (31147) a good buy for $19.99? Im going to give you all the details on this set along with my opinion on all 3 of the builds in this new LEGO set. This should help you decide whether the LEGO Retro Camera (31147) is a buy or pass for you!

“This is a waste except for 1 piece”. That 1 “piece” happens to be the entire main build. Stupid clickbait
FYI - The two other builds that make up 66% of the set are the waste. Only 1 out of 3 builds was worth it.
They don't make up 66% of the set. The main build makes up the entire set. You can't build all 3 builds at the same time. Also, a build isn't a piece, lol@@TheBrickQuest
I mean obviously the retro camera was the primary set in the design phase, the other 2 are just crappy extra builds

Some really old 35mm cameras that were NOT single-lens-reflex cameras had similar viewfinders - you would look out of a separate lens next to the main lens. You can see an example of what I mean if you google "Leica camera"

I’ve been subscribed for a while and have basically associated you with Lego investing tips and getting set retirement info. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you do a set review, but this was really cool & informative. I bought this set and built it and agree that the camera build was impressive, especially at the $20 price point. I look forward to seeing more reviews from you.

Built this with a film photography loving family member... Didn't even think about building either of the other 2 models. Camera is great, and thought it good value. If you like Lego and love film photography it's a 10/10.

I say kudos to Lego on this. Why? When you break it down by price essentially each build works out to $6.66 each pretty impressive if you ask me considering the price of a mini figure is around $5.0. I would agree that the tv is not the highlight of the 3 builds. But the camera is outstanding for the price. And people need to calm down on knocking this man about his opinion, it’s exactly that his opinion, and he is just being honest about what he thinks.

I took my unopened set back to the store after watching this.
The only build worth building in the set was the retro camera.
I bought and built mine a while back. I have a small collection of old cameras and as soon as I saw it I wanted it. I built it immediately and have enjoyed fiddling with it often. The handle for turning the film is like a fidget toy.
I bought this set….can hardly wait for it to arrive. I love cameras
