Great video! Questions for osce stations/paces/practical exams - in some stations you would talk the examiner through what steps you're doing, for example a cardiac exam ("i'm inspecting the skin for any changes, scars, thinning, hairs, varicose veins etc). How would you recommend doing this in a psych history in an exam setting, and demonstrating to the examiner you're assessing and looking for various things?
It's vital to read the instructions carefully. One may comment about patient's appearance, behaviour and so on during the examination if asked to talk through Mental State Exam. However, if one is asked to perform a MSE and present findings to the examiner it's preferable to discuss the findings with the examiner at the end.
Thanks for watching this video. If you have suggestion for future videos, let me know in the comment section.
Im a internee clinical psychologist and i confirm.. this information was really really helpful ❤

Awesome data
Hi Dr. Erwin, What is ideal duration to finish the psychiatric history taking?
Every patient is different so history may be longer or shorter. Psychiatric history from a GP consult would take approximately 15mins.
@@DrErwinKwun Thank you
