People will report you not for serious evil or criminal things. But petty things like one old lady for making the comment that Zelensky was good looking, a child for drawing a picture promoting peace. A reporter got 8 years jail for reporting on the destruction of Mariupol. Friends reporting on friends, family on family, kids on their teachers, teachers on kids. Imagine living in that sort of atmosphere. Of course people are going to be evasive, and fearful when a word can ruin your life. And of course people can can always lie even if you say nothing at all.

There's a big problem with the question you specifically asked, and the way you translate it in the title. These people are usually answering the questions ''Who are Russia's enemies?" or "Which countries are unfriendly to Russia?" and similar, which means, although clearly there are a bunch of people here who think western countries are actually a threat to Russia, many are also just listing whichever countries are opposed to Russia's current policies, which doesn't mean they agree with those policies, or think that those western countries are in the wrong, etc., etc., etc., so its unclear who here actually sees the west as a real threat (which it isn't, that's utterly delusional, and mindless conformist acceptance of a lying narrative imposed from above), and who just sees that there is this fact of opposition from the west, which they may think is justified. Some of those people can be seen by what they say, but with many of these people it's hard to know what they think. You need to ask an unambiguous question, say it the same to every person, and translate it correctly.
Weird how they all said 'enemy' or 'opponent' as if that's the way foreign countries see them which is not the case...As a Brit I have never heard anyone use those words to describe a different country including Russia...We are not told that they are an 'enemy' or 'opponent' because of their nationality...It seems to be ingrained in most of the Russians we see here...It's a very strange way of thinking to me...An example of an illusory truth effect I think...

@@gshenaut well, your statement is not true in general. As much as world hates "the sin" (so do I), it hates "the sinner" too, maybe even worse than the "sin", and this is quite obvious.
