Many North America consumers & even some of our employees don’t know how to pronounce our brand name correctly… and that’s a barrier to word-of-mouth! Since we know our customers love L’Occitane products and experience, and want to #sharewithpride, we created a playful campaign to make them feel they are part of a community. The video is set in our home - our 555 Fifth Avenue boutique - as our beloved store team helps remove the stigma of mispronunciation in a light-hearted, educational format.

And even if they didn’t, there are many men that work in cosmetics/skincare and are passionate about it. Just like a woman can work in a menswear department and have knowledge/expertise on suits.

I’m sorry, but boo L’Occitaine. They kept their business operating in Russia after the war started, well after every other beauty brand had pulled out of the Russian market. They said they’d stop sending supplies, and yet, they kept doing it. It took a lot of of public outcry for them to finally leave, but it was clear that they valued their financial success in Russia over the war with Ukraine. So boo L’Occitaine. There are so many brands you can support, but this should not be one of them.
