I'm surprised you didn't mention the fallen rope bridge and the grave of the unknown horse in your overview of Galloping Gultch. The overlook is a stunning place to take photos or paint.
You all do realize we are watching the unfolding of genius here don’t you? Petey’s videos are cinematically intriguing ie the horse leads to the area of interest, very well scripted, and his narration just keeps getting better. Bravo SIMS bravo Petey.
As a southern girl raised in the heart of Texas, this packs vibes have put the biggest smile on my face ❤️❤️. I cannot even begin to express how awed I’ve been in how much effort went into the horses themselves. It really brings me home, and I definitely wanna get this pack ASAP ❤️❤️
At night in the desert area, you can find a tombstone next to the barn and see the silhouette of a ghostly horse. Even in the city center, one NPC gives a recipe for nectar, a bottle of this nectar, ingredients for it. You can also sell nectar to him with a 25% markup. I don't know how his name is correct in English, but he is on the news board. This NPC spawns next to the shop at 12:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Thanks for that info. I got lucky as he appeared in the welcome wagon. Though I couldn't call him over via phone afterwards, I could throw a sleepover for a couple of simdays and invite him that way.
@@GumGirl All activities with Roberto are in friendly interaction without a category. Roberto should be on the map next to the store or close to it. He has actions to sell nectar (25% markup), ask for ingredients (gives a death flower and spinach), ask for a ranch, ask for a secret recipe.
@@GumGirl if there are no such actions, then try to raise friendship with him. But, the sale of nectar is available even if there is no friendship. From 11:00 (12:00) to 15:00 he buys nectar. At the top of the screen, the game will notify you of his arrival.
I wasn't going to get this one but got it as a gift and I must say the world is really stunning. I think a lot of people miss the beautiful waterfall so I'm so glad you showed that.. they give me serotonin too! 😄
It seems such a shame to me they didn't update the grapevine with this pack. They now have two worlds with decorative grapevines that look like actual grapevines, but when you build your own vineyard you get bushs.
yeah.. they do need to update, but the proper vineyard aesthetic you can get in debug and place the actual grapes under it *with bb on, after they are planted in an open spot.

I hate that I stick to completing the same ones all the time because I can't figure out the other ones. I know that makes me seem possibly slightly dumb, but that's fine. I know someone probably has already made a video like the one I'm suggesting, but I'd rather watch you explain them. I love your content, keep it coming!
I wish all the worlds were this well thought out, and I do think the shop/rabbitholes are good for the basic stuff like clothes and grocery items (especially with simple living lot trait) and would be cool to have these sort of things in other worlds too (without going overboard on introducing loads of rabbit holes like sims 3)
I actually think the worlds should have more rabbitholes. Considering we have to load screen to visit any place it would be cool if we could send some sims way while we play with other one, it's useful for big families. And it would make the world feel more alive. I think San Sequoia is the worst in this aspect, so big but nothing to do.
I'm assuming you can't woohoo in the cave or waterfall... I know that those spots exist in other packs but considering they didnt give us any new woohoo spots they could have given us more than a new bush. Although it looks like I picked a good neighborhood and lot...I get training grounds, a park-like area and a camping area.
I haven't bought this yet, but I am disappointed that there aren't more large lots. It doesn't make sense since a lot of us who build as well as play will want to combine the Cottage Living cows , chickens and llamas with the horses. Considering that Cottage Living has more large lots, I can see me building there and just using Chestnut Ridge for riding and competitions.

I luv you so much. Your vids tell me everything I need to know. I scoured the map for a place to go swimming and couldnt find it. I was thinking there has to be cave or hidden entrance to something. couldnt find it.
Definitely one of my favorite worlds.. My game is pretty unique in the way that I play and the sims in the game, often will add people from the world, actors and the such like, with aging turned off, they get a place to live and at times I may choose to go play one for a while.. with the top portion of this world, I went and grabbed Billy Jack he was on the left side, and in the middle, the School with some of the sims from that school, and on the right, the medicine man.. moved all of the game generated townies into the center, one lot is still that stable area, one is a bar/club, and the rest homes for the townies, and with the last area, I choose to make that a Family area.. and I through in Elon Musk there as well. LOL he is doing his rocket thing in the Sims as well as some acting!!
Can you get red meat gorgeous trex of the cave without cottage living? I only have base game and horse ranch. So how do I suppose yo proceed further into the cave without red meat for dinosaur distraction...? Red sheep doesn't work 😢
If anyone would be interested in a horseshoe shaped ranch-style home with a center courtyard for the northern 50x50 lot in Chestnut Ridge, I posted one on the Gallery yesterday. Just look for Jezebel Junction by iamsweetmystery1. Fully Decked out for a family and a menagerie of animals including 2 horse stables, 2 animals sheds and a chicken coop.

There are pants with chaps over them in the CAS for this pack. Also Toddlers get a pair of little chaps in CAS too, which doesn't really make sense because Toddlers can't ride Horses, but it is freaking adorable
I know this is a place of positivity, i wish one of the public restrooms were closer to the competition facility or the option to use restroom and eat concession were rabbithole options there. I am very happy the large training facilities are in the open world it. My family had to wait to have a baby until they could afford a ranch with 2 bedrooms and still enough room for their horse breeding business. I think the needs status of the rider and horse effects the competition outcome because my horse is over qualified for the competition but keeps getting bronze. The rider is always exhausted and about to wet himself.
I took care of the rider and they got gold, Also dince we moved and use the park like a horse girl bed and breakfast its easy to compete all day and the layout makes total sense when you compete from the park

I JUST RECENTLY UPDATED MY SIMS GAME WITH THE NEW PATCH AND IT DELETED ALL OF MY SAVE FILES THAT WERE CREATED AFTER APRIL WHEN THE LAST TIME I PLAYED WAS A FEW DAYS AGO AND NOW I AM UPSET AND CRYING BECAUSE THE SIMS AND EA TOOK AWAY ALL OF MY RECENT PROGRESS
I love this EP, but it's dismal for landscape scavenging.. just grapes and prairie grass. The few nodes and frog logs never respawned after I initially got them (gave it a week in game). This has been a trend that gets worse with each pack. Since I almost always start a save with $0, it's a bummer. But the rest of this pack is so excellent, I'll take the challenge.
I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying this pack. I always start with 0, simple living and off grid, the world really isn't great for that, minimal water locations as well but I've enjoyed the extra challenge!!!! I was lucky, found a 2500 simoleon bottle of nectar in prairie grass just before nearly starving to death 😅.

I am kind of on the fence! I think the gameplay and the pack is really fun and enjoyable. I just wish there was a tad more content in it :).

just prairie grass, no new gardening. But the prairie grass is pretty great because you often find valuables when harvesting it.
