  • Before Generals Petraeus and McChrystal, there was another General that caught America's attention.
He was the Supreme Allied commander Europe of Nato during the war in Kosovo.
In 2004 he ran for the Democratic nomination for President and in 2008 he was rumoured to be on Hillary Clinton's short list for potential vice-presidents.
In this episode of Fault Lines, Josh Rushing sits down with General Wesley Clark to talk about Iraq, Afghanistan and America's insatiable appetite for oil.

Ooof. I've heard this kind of talk just before a military dictatorship: "the public has no right to get their noses into military business"

What I see from this interview is that military is very easy to be manipulated by civil authority because military leader so scare to not doing whatever civil authority want the military to do. Scare of what? Losing face, felt humiliated and really eager to stay in his position in military organisation as long as possible in spite of he has to do against his consiences. Because the military leader think that if he be removed from his duty, it will make people think he is not capable leader of the military unit, he think that people will presume that he act against the constitution, and bad soldier. For example, if General Colin Powell disgree to attack Iraq and so did all general army, navy and air force, all four, three, two and one star generals under his command ununimously disagree, there would not be a Gulf War 2. Was Bush Junior crazy enough to assign a colonel to take position of Joint Chief of Staff? I don't think so. Would it be Bush crazy enough asking Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz to fly themselves F117 Stealth bomber or F 18 Hornet to drop bombs on Saddam Hussein's palace? No way. My point is without help of military it was impossible for Bush Jinior to execute his crazy will in his term, to clean middle east countries from Russia influence. But it was not the way. Colin Powel knew if he said he was disagree, he will be removed from his position of Joint Chief of Staff and somebody will take his position happily. Actually Colin Powell was not disagree, so was the whole arm forces generals. They blind themselves that alumunium can't cut steel. One inch thick 10 inches diameter pipes surrounding WTC building 1 and 2. They blind themselves that 600 °C kerosene jetfuel fire can't melt iron and steel and that turn concrete and humsn flesh and bone into dust. Pulverzed dust that spreading around in area of 5 miles radius from ground zero by windflow. Then remainding of two 110 storey building only as high as 3 storey building thick and less than a hundred humam bodies found. Only to put the blame to the cave man Osama bin Laden. To make people believe that sickman was very rich king of terror. How rich he could be that he was only seventeenth son of the Saudian moghul. The seventeenth son of The Saudian richman that never be in the list of 100 Fortune or Forbes. And you the genius generals believe the story.
They, the generals,do not remember, their collegues general or ex superior often removes from their position for very tiny mistake or not at all. General Patton and General Wrstmoreland were examples from the past time. General McCrystal is an example in the future. The reason Obama fired him is unclear to the public. Is he not capable army general? Not at all. He proved himself having been raised to rank four star general. Felt humiliated, something he avoided during his military career. The military generals just know that removing one general from the position by higher authority just give them an opportunity to be chosen to take over the position. A promotion. More stars in the shoulder.
Competition among the military academy alumni to climb to the top position is always so hard, make them happy if there is superior be removed from position. The military personnel will do everything and whatever it takes to reach the position, eventhough against his will. So, knowing this, the civil authority easily manipulate every single military personnel. The higher his military rank the easier he is manipulated the more polite language be used while removing them. To think logically is there any different in America whether you get retired in the rank of lieautenant, major, colonel or four star general? Not at all. There are a lot army personnel who retired as lieutenant or captain entering politics run for mayor, governor or senator and win, but how many four star general struggling to run for governor, senator or president not getting sufficient votes? The only four star general succeeded to win presidential election had been jappened long time age. General Eisenhower was the last, General George Washington was the first. Who else? So, what is the advantage? Yes, there is one. You got a honor to have been lead a large number, a division, of soldier compare to a lieutenat lead only a platoon. Beside there was a time when the lower rank officer have to show his obedience to you to do what you asked. That is the proud you have the lower rank officer do not have.
What Bush Junior succeeded to create actually was wild shooters in American soil. Hundreds during a decade. The ones who hold their gun shooting wildly people passing the street for no reason, shooting classmates and teacher in classroom for his minor grade, shooting his or her coworker in the supermarkets or factories for unclear reasons. Shooting innocents people. They are the real terrorist that terrorize American people in American soil. The other things George Junior succeeded to create is debt. Trillion dollars of debt in US Government budget, enemies, more sophisticate weapon by American war industries to be sold to the developing countries and Middle East's chaos. And the last bit not least, George Junior creates the economics monster names China. Today, China not only threaten but also killing its pepole and global people living outside of mainland using its covid 19.
There is element of stupidity inside your smart brain.

It is all about trapping the potential of hydrogen. Hydrocarbons (fossil fuels) and Carbohydrates (food) are basically the two best ways we of stopping hydrogen escaping from the atmosphere into outer space, so that we can use it to sustain life here on earth. Hydrogen = Energy = Life.

Is that Westie Clark hiding, surely it's not a gesture of shame, because the blinds are down and she's hiding like a bookworm? Not even the women from the American command do this, with the words of the shameful memory of the killer: "Yes it ... dying" !!!

Ohhhhhhhhhh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My favorite General - based in Little Rock? Ethanol come from a food product, which uses a lot of water to grow. Please tell me his/their plan is to use reclaimed water for this energy source.
Hydrogen fuel cell engines & onsite, portable power generating plants is the answer - better than someone else's meal!
OMGosh, Clarke - please run, don't walk away from the terribly wicked machinations in Little Rock.
Anything to do with the Clintons - especially Killary - is super bad news. I fell like puking.
