Abdul won an Inspire Award for his efforts in improving opportunities for young people with disabilities in his community. Despite initial barriers, including being the only participant when the Super 1s programme initially started in Buckinghamshire, he has remained committed and helped encourage others to join. Abdul’s determination, passion for the game, and ability to break down social barriers by integrating people from diverse backgrounds into the sport, makes him an inspirational figure to all.
