The most important decision you will ever make is where you will spend eternity.
THIS IS GOD'S ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN:
In the beginning, God created Adam and Eve and wanted to have perfect fellowship with them, but He gave them 1 rule to obey and that was not to eat of the tree in the middle of the garden called, "The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"
Adam chose to disobey and sinned against God and this broke that perfect fellowship between man and his Creator. Because of this, the curse of sin and death came upon them and all the human race.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
In order to enter into heaven, there are a few things you must understand. You must understand and acknowledge that YOU are a sinner and your sin separates you from God.
      Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
A holy, righteous God cannot allow sin into heaven. If God did not punish sin, He would be unjust because all sin must be punished. God's price for sin is death, not just a physical death, but death in hell in a lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
In the Old Testament times, when man sinned, God required them to kill a perfect, spotless lamb and to sprinkle its blood on the altar as a sacrifice for their sins. Jesus Christ, God's Son became that perfect, spotless Lamb that was sacrificed for the sins of the whole world. It was His blood that satisfied the just demands of a holy God. God will not accept anything else.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Jesus loved us so much He WILLINGLY came and allowed wicked men to spit on Him, mock Him and beat Him until He was unrecognizable. They stripped him naked, thrust a crown of thorns on His head and drove nails into His hands and feet. He hung in agony for hours bleeding. He died in our place so that we could be saved from going to hell. There is no greater love than that!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The good news is that Jesus didn't stay dead in the grave. He came back to life 3 days later just like He said He would. And that proved that He was God! No one else could do that.
Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
      6. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Jesus did all this because He wants to give you the free gift of eternal life in heaven with Him!
You cannot do anything to earn your own way into Heaven. You can't work for it, be baptized for it, go to church for it or try to be good enough for it. It is a free gift that God is offering to anyone who will simply receive it by faith.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
      9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God said there is only one way to get to heaven, but it is not hard. You must admit you are a sinner and that you understand that the punishment for sin is eternal torment in hell in a lake of fire. You must understand that Jesus took that punishment for you when He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for your sins and that He rose from the grave 3 days later. That is the gospel. If you believe these things, then all you have to do is humbly admit to God that you are a sinner deserving of hell, but you believe that he paid for your sins on the cross and rose again 3 days later. Ask him to forgive you and be merciful to you and give you eternal life. Thank Him for His saving you.
Romans 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
      13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Let me warn you though, that if you don't get saved, and you reject God's sacrifice for you, you are already condemned and will suffer the torment of burning in hell for eternity in a lake of fire where you will be forever separated from God and all that is loving and good. God is holy and you must come His way or no way.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Please don't wait. Don't take the risk of putting it off until another day, repent, turn to Christ NOW because you aren't guaranteed to live another day on this Earth. Believe God's Word and call on Him today!

There is very little point in using words unless they have some matching or corresponding experience, or are symbols of something that has actually been experienced, so it is meaningless to speak of "God's eternity" when there cannot possibly be any matching or corresponding experiences for either God or eternity- both are no more than vague generalisations or unfocused photographs or just blurs

You could replace the word "religious" with anything and it would hold true. "Apologetics" of any theory, thought, ideology, etc, by the very definition of being an "apologetic", will always "invent" ways out of any contradictions they create. You see it in politics, science, and theology (including atheism) all the time. And yes, atheism is itself a religion. It is a religion of nothing, with members of this way of thinking every bit as zealous as those who believe in a particular religion. It is just as difficult to explain the concept of no Creator, that everything just "is because it is", as it is difficult to explain an omnipotent Creator. Neither can be explained without some sort of pitfalls. The truth is we don't know and can't know.

This lady in the very beginning of this video, Eleanor, blew my mind! But at the same time made so much sense and personally I have conceived such a theory myself. To hear someone else finally voice that same thesis is like, WOW! Of course I think she’s brilliant. Only we exist in linear time, but in God’ perspective and reality there exist the now presence with what we would call past and future just being branches of a tree that’s constantly extending out, but the actual tree trunk itself remaining non changing, static. God, being unchanging can sees those branches at all intervals of its growth and each interval is accessible and remains there for him. As it would be for us to see and access any branch of a tree no matter how much that tree grows.

It was a very odd hypothesis not really supported by anything. If anything there is no such thing as a now, and there may not even be a singular instant of any measurable time. At the Planck time (hypothetical but QM is incredibly accurate and predicts it) time loses meaning in fuzzy uncertainty below it's threshold.
What she had to say was really just a slightly more salient hypothesizing than what Deepak Chopra does on the backs of legitimate science.
The hubris of some of these theologians is sometimes comical.

It is like having a great mountain rising out of the plains. Well, everywhere you look at the mountain, it looks slightly different, depending on where you are looking. If you are up close, if you are far away, if you are to the north, the south, the east or the west-it all looks different, you see. But it is the same mountain. It has not changed with your perspective.
You may debate with others about the appearance of the mountain. You are looking from the north and they are looking from the south. Oh, the mountain looks so very different. You argue about its features and its manifestations. To someone up close, it is huge and monumental. To someone at a distance, it is just something out on the horizon. The experience is different. The perspectives are different. But the mountain has not changed. It has not adapted itself to people’s perspective or people’s position around it.

Even in the Bible, God gave people choices with ultimate results for either decision. Using the word " If ". This implies multiple realities depending on the individual's path, however, we can only experience the path we choose in the moment of now. What is amazing is that God can take our prayers from "now" and use the information to change our future.

Good show ... gets the brain pondering on issues most ask about but cannot grasp the significance of such questions and the implications of answers that may arise
i still contend that God is not of our reality but outside of it ... or how else could he create it if our reality is creating him? or a part of him?
our reality consists of time, space and energy which from our perpective are infinite
But could be finite as per Gods creation
in math ironically we have 3 infinities too
you can count forever, subtract forever and 0 is infinite
    and 0 is nothing
with reference to time ... that number line implies "now" could very well be infinite.

She is a smart Lady. I liked it how she "stopped time" by stretching it out infinitely. In physics there is a smallest unit of time - for us not for god - but if it would not be there indeed one could divide time instances infinitely until everything stops. And that god can understand things that are simpler than himself (linear) time but we can't understand more complex forms of time, makes sense. For example we can understand a 3 D form and a 2 D form but not a 5 D form. But that does not mean that someone who has a 5 D form can't understand what for example a quube is.

It cannot be named the amount and duration of that thinking but it can be understood to be beyond our understanding. When it thought about phisical matter it thought hard. Manifesting it all while outside of what we can call time.

One formulation I have read from some religious thinkers of the past is that the universe has "always been" emanating from God. There wasn't a time when it didn't exist at all. But what we experience as different points in time as we move through it, are all present to God.

      Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Hi Sir, I have a simple question. Inside a factory at the end of the shift a supervisor and his co-worker are counting the produced objects, the objects are approximately the size of a tennis ball. It is their daily routine, the worker counts the objects as he takes it from the production lot and puts it inside a bag. The role of the supervisor is to keep watch so that there is no mistake while counting. One fine day, before starting the counting process, the supervisor looks at the lot and writes down some random three digit number as quantity of the produced items, in short he assumes that the actual quantity would probably match with that number. Now the question is what are the chances of that actual quantity matching exactly with that random number?

It is such a logical contradiction to say that "Time Began". By definition, without time there can be no change like a "creation of the universe" or a "universe coming into being". Since we see change, it appears that there is this thing we call time. To me, being able to notice change indicates that time never started and that it was always there. I think we have an understanding of time because our mind create a model of it as a way to understand it.

I humbly see it this way, we experience time differently than God would, even in this universe we can experience time differently (theoretically) depending on speed and gravity. Working off the analogy that time is a river i would add that we are on rafts that go only
Downstream , we can never go back or look beyond the bends upstream but God can see the entire river all at once as from afar and could enter it at the beginning middle or end which for Christians would be the incarnation, ie Jesus jumping in the river at a given point, and is subject to time, whereas those on the rafts (us) only flow down stream. He can enter time or remain outside of it.

when you use the word "we" you seek to convey or point to yourself, and which specific identifiable immediate interlocutor?
Perhaps you can help me with this: does "we" ever have a headache, and if so how do you know that "we has a headache".
Given that time is merely a cognate or synonym for the impression of change, how do you know that other creatures broadly similar to yourself experience change or one of its cognates and synonyms in a different way from the way in which you experience it? - How do you go about establishing that, or discovering it is the case or true?- on what direcct immediate personal do you base the other's experience of whatever you mean by time, or change or whatever differently from you? - How do you go about discovering that?- can you experience what they experience as they experience it?
It is demonstrably impossible for one man to experience one another man experiences, for were otherwise, when one man has a headache all men would have headaches, and they simply don't - therefore they do not and cannot experience what the other experiences, for if it were otherwise they would experience what the other experiences and they simply don't.
Do you suppose all men to be identical, or the generality of men homogenous? - What is your evidential basis for that if that is your supposition?

Assuming God has perfect, total knowledge of everything, that means God understands completely what it's like to be me, Robert Kuhn, my cat, or an insect on my wall. That means that God actually has to EXPERIENCE the totallity of my life, Robert Kuhn's life, my cat's life, and the life of an insect on my wall. Therefore, what we each are part of God's infinite consciousness because we are actually God living our limited life in the physical universe. This also means that God has CHOSEN to forget who he is when he lives each of our live's. There's no other way for God to have perfect, total understanding of who each of us are. Furthermore, it means God lives WITHIN time as each of us, as well as eternally outside of time as we know it. Because of this chain of reasoning, I've come to the same conclusion as the Nobel prize winning physicist Erwin Schrodinger: there is only ONE consciousness having an infinity of experiences.

The concept of superposition in quantum physics says that particles like electrons, photons and atoms can exist in multiple states simultaneously, so it may be that God can still remember who he is while he lives our lives as well.

When the light of God enters into creation it forms an arc. It is when the lesser light crosses itself that we begin to mark time. In the end, what we witness when we see a black hole is the unwinding of time or creation collapsing unto itself. Throughout this process the will of God is accomplished through the mystery of gravity. Gravity is transformative from time to timelessness and is what enjoins science and human spirituality. God's covenant, manifest in mankind, leads us out of time into timelessness. He was born of the spirit impervious to time.

'Eternity' is an intuition of Infinitude, when we apply a 'time' concept to it..
So here is one of the main problems.. People have a very poor understanding of what the word 'infinite' actually means.. This is not any kind of 'fault', but just that we have evolved within the confines of what appears to be a finite environment, and we thus try to look at things in finite ways, also justifying those 'finite' thoughts. When I first approached the 'problem' I had the same difficulties, so it takes our minds a lot of effort to reach another perspective of understanding, but it IS achievable..
Firstly, there cannot be more than one 'instance' of infinitude, otherwise a secondary 'thing' would render them both 'finite'. So we are describing a 'oneness'.. Also, it can have no 'beginning' nor 'ending' as these would also necessitate a secondary 'thing' (or the utter nonsense of a 'nothing'!). Then, we have to admit that it can only be the one thing that interconnects all other 'things', and we deduce this to be 'Space', necessarily..
All references to 'size' or 'direction' do not apply to the nature of infinitude, and thus have no relevance to our understanding of the true nature of existence. 'Measurement' has limitations.. When we point to any position in Space, we effectively create a 'beginning' to any subsequent forms of measurement, which only has relevance to the entity desiring to understand said 'measurement'. This does not make it a feature of the nature of reality, only a desire from a Human perspective.

I gaze at the night sky and realize:
I am the stars gazing back at me.
I stare deeply into the expressionless white-eyed womb of Eternity.
I now enter a state of consciousness that knows the oneness of all.
Now I am the diamond - not any one facet.
I am the diamond - the oneness of all.
I am no longer the fragmented mind of a man.
I am now Eternity observing my SELF - one of the denizens of Eternity's dream.
But it is not a switch of perspective.
    It is what it is.
The oneness of all and the denizens of its dream.
And the process repeats in a timeless existence.
Like a mirror within a mirror within another.
I stare deeply into the expressionless white-eyed womb of Eternity.
I am not my SELF anymore but only the oneness of all.
    But nothing changes in Eternity.
There never is a change of perspective.
    It is what it is.
There still is my SELF and Eternity,

why use the word "infinite" where you have no experience of the infinite - which can only be some vague woolly idea with no corresponding experience that is not no more than a vague woolly idea? Do you notice how men use words and simply assume that they have the meaning of those words or some corresponding experience? - In plain language it is as if they say to themselves I have the word, therefore I must know what it means or how I understand it it", but if you actually ask them what the word means to them or conveys to them, they have no idea; it is as if words obscure rather than reveal- they act as mere proxies for something else, the nearest analogy being a pectoral photograph or painting of a piece of bread; it looks like a piece of bread but it is not in the sense that you cannot eat it as if it were bread, and the same goes for words; why bother with the meaning or import of a word if you have the word and never need to trouble yourself with what it means?

We don't get to make up things and say that they are true, simply because they appeal to our incredibly limited perspectives.

I think you can push this question of a timeless God even further if what you mean by "God" is the wave function of the Universe. If the Universe has zero energy and a spherical topology, then both space and time are emergent, not fundamental. The only fundamental thing is the quantum mechanical wave-function, in which case that's all "there is". The wave function is not part of spacetime - it gives rise to both space and time. That's what God really is. It's also the simplest explanation possible.

I love this idea, God felt in love to his creation, lose virginity and decide he will grow old and die together with us. Better than what was before creation, i guess. And it's not like universe will die any time soon, we have eternity to spend in a great company. God being what it is can make end of the universe meaningless, just return to his old primordial form or became something else, whatever.
It's all because this things around us are not a stone, atoms are not geometrical solids, have nothing to do with anything we can possibly imagine and aren't small at all, since they radiate and absorb energy of entire universe, even bend space time itself. An ordinary piece of sand can't do that, it's just an invisible lump of matter, detached from reality, if we stick to definitions. But since sand is not a small piece of something, we can see it, it bend space time and react to influences, no matter how small it seems for creatures like us. It's a strange contradiction, we can see a small dusty particle, but we think it's not really important because it's so small. But why do we see it than, if it's so small, perhaps it have a giant battery and powerful lamp installed somewhere at it's tinny core. I'm telling ya, reality is not things inside other things, it's way more complicated, complex and powerful than that.
And why do scientists say we can see back in time when looking at cosmos, not really, all we see is projection of light particles or waves, whatever. It just so happens that all we know about physical reality align at that maximum rate of change, but please mind we can detect only like 10% of everything that exist, according to same measurements and calculations. Why not travel faster than light, it doesn't make time go away, might brake fundamental laws of motion and energy maybe, but nothing really bad would happen, since every object in the universe depend of their elemental clock first. It's atoms, no matter where they are or in what state, they still signal their internal time space.
Here's where true magic begins, asking physical questions about divine force of nature will always lead us to same conclusions, everything is possible, if you have fairy tale powers. Because this is the only way God can be all those contradictions and paradoxes, he must be made from magic dust and can do everything we see in cartoons. So we have two choices, stick with physics and numb down personal intuition or believe in fairy tales and keep the faith sisters and brothers.

    • @xspotbox4400
      @xspotbox4400 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Mark Coleman Absolute power of nature, sounds like a weapon of universal destruction.
It's interesting how modern technology is based on a work of a single man, Nikola Tesla believed we could use Earth's electric field to convey and store information from our conscious minds in that ether. He had visions of civilization based on electricity before people knew how to generate electric potential and route energy where is needed, but he couldn't know how exactly would that work and what do we mean by information today. Smart mobile phones are best example, 5 years ago average battery was around 2 amp hours, now it's 5 ah and modern circuits are times more efficient. This means smaller circuit perform more calculations and waste less energy to heath. Modern electronics can do much more work in less time and use less energy, because of that non intuitive rule human society is more efficient than ever before in history. But are we also happier with our lives, that's completely different question.
I believe imagination is most precious substance in whole universe and nothing we do as species can't compensate for pure biological potential of a dreaming conscious brain. This means every single healthy human brain can be more powerful than all the rest of humanity combined, because it takes a lot of imagination to come up with something completely new, no other human in history has though about before. We live in Tesla age now and we can't even imagine different kind of technologies, because electricity is the only power we can control to push our machines, just like steam engines were before that and same as future ideas will change this world again, making all this industrial power that exist today obsolete over night.

  • @FAAMS1
    @FAAMS1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    important read:
Even if for the sake of argument and speculation, something we chew to entertain the implausible, and we posit a rational concept of an ID creation, with a video game/simulation Creator to make some people around happy, such Creator either is an advanced creature, civilization, or AGI but never the ground of all being as it cannot justify itself or will itself to be before it is such that it has any freedom at its own nature. A Mind cannot will itself own nature into being before it is! It then must fall on a bigger more abstract domain, a bigger timeless Set of PROPERTIES. (It doesn't matter if such properties are from or own POV phenomenological as there must be an Ontology of all possible phenomena, and with this there goes Idealism down the drain). Anyway onward:
Minds are problem solving machines and for such they need to have a defined position in spacetime in order to have a specific informational interacting POV and lack other POV's by contrast...that is to say they need to be incomplete, not all encompassing and thus be dependent on a non personal entity, a domain of all domains like the Multiverse or complex Universe with different laws of Physics in different non local regions etc.
Such a rational, in a block Universe which is timeless and Unified in the Set of all that can ever be might be the kind of Ultimism that gave rise to the popular proto-concept of God that we over the centuries Anthropomorphized on the now dominant traditional religions we are familiarized with.
