I shared this video with some friends in Brazil, USA and England. The Brazilians reacted with total amazement and praises. The English guy made a horrible comment: “Wonder how many of the massive amount of Chinese prisoners Were put to work …”, the American friends said: “the Chinese are just boasting. I'm from a developing nation & not bothered about US or Chinese propaganda but I marvel the engineering technology but importantly the leadership support. I wish my leaders had the same vision...we need such infrastructure to connect services to our rural areas especially. Kudos to the Chinese.
In the USA it took over 60 years to get an infrastructure bill passed just to repair bridges and highways constructed in the 1950s to 1970s let alone anything new. US civil engineers are saying that the latest bill is only about 10% of the actual amount needed. The laws of engineering are universal. Given the equivalent amount of tax dollars, there's no doubt that US engineers and construction workers could do the same thing. The CCP doesn't have that problem.

@@murgy77 The U.S. have better re-focus on their planes (Boeing) as the number of incidents involving quality issues is damaging the U.S. airline industry. Planes falling out of the skies, doors and plane panels blowing off while in flight, engines exploding, wheels falling off, instrument panels giving incorrect readings to the pilots. passenger emergency oxygen masks that do not work and Boeing employees refusing to fly in planes they have built themselves doesn't auger well at all.

China is so ahead of America that it makes us question why we continue to give all of our money to the 1% while letting our infrastructure fall apart.
The American empire is done like dinner. With US debt at over 30 trillion and consumer debt into the hundreds of trillions it means everyone is bankrupt. $$$ is debt. Just a promissory note with nothing of value backing it up.

By comparison it took a contractor 3.5 years to build a simple bridge of 61 meters across the North Saskatchewan River at a cost of $2 billion dollars. Think about it: They discovered a large piece of concrete buried on one side of the river. What engineer would start construction without checking the depth of the river banks and any obstacles? Most of the people in the city knew about the concrete because it stuck out of the bank and was clearly visible from the walk bridge.
