It's interesting that the game does a logic check to see if the defending pokemon has an energy to discard (and doesn't mandate a flip when there isn't one) but doesn't do a logic check to see if the defending pokemon has any health left and still makes you flip for status and energy removal even when they're knocked out.
Maybe in the future there will be a pokemon or support card with resurrection power who will leave you a certain amount of hp when you die, so it is necessary

Can’t say that. I was using fearow and mawile in a deck before this mythical mini pack came out. To discard opponents energy. Sometimes splashed in Persian
Reminds me of an old Poliwrath deck I made back in base set. He had Whirlpool for 4 energy did 40 damage and discarded an energy from opponent. In combo with energy removals and super energy removals (broken trainer cards that were not a once per turn back then).
I just felt bad for my opponents so I retired it. There was no energy acceleration back then besides Blastoise, and they just couldn’t do anything with one energy per turn if it got removed.
Persian is hilarious as well.
Was running a deck like this a while back with fearow and mawile to discard opponents energy and threw in Persian a few times

You inspired me with this deck! But I had Hypno partnered with Fearow to increase my chance of disruption. The opponent active Pokemon could be asleep and lose an energy at the same time! I also had a Tauros to counter EX cards. The deck works well against MEW EX decks if you have the right draws, support, and items.
I really liked fearow in a arbok weezing deck that used once, the idea was arbok and weezing combo, with fearow ruining some combos stalling energies, but i ended up replacing the entire deck for scolipede weezing, so maybe i try this for energy stall again

That game one was definitely opponent fumbling hard. if they sacrificed their first mewtwo instead of swapping out they would have had 4 energy on deck with the benched one to sweep
Stuff like this is just fun , I use an og Aerodactyl with my Aerodactyl Ex deck and I won a game against a gyrados deck without doing any damage 😂, and my 1st like 8 flips with that Aerodactyl were heads

I wanted to make this deck to test in noex and I realized I only have 1 copy of Spearow…6 copies of Fearow though.
I'd call this deck "Lock Jaw" because it uses biting attacks that lock the opponent out of winning. It also makes them clinch their teeth in rage.

I’m using Persian with Weezing currently for simile level of disruption with mew ex for the mirror move on the usual suspects
I shared it in discord but I put Wigglytuff ex and Florges with a single mew ex as I felt Wigglytuff hasn't been given much love recently so I wanted to do something with it, so I went with a sleep themed deck with a potential heavy hitter with mews genome hacking. Wanted something different and I think Wigglytuff isn't used as much other then with weezing and a few others I have seen but not much else.
In every videos you do you are rarely got beaten, i want to play with you and let me see how good you are
dont know if you will end up seeing this but i love using your website for decks, but could you please put the energies for each deck somewhere, i always need to go to your video and scroll through, and sometimes you dont show it when you show the decklist so i need to scroll through the gameplay to see what energy you used, sometimes it is obvious what it will be but other times (like for multi-type decks) it is a pain and it would be a massive help!

I made it and the deck energies are corresponding to the deck category they’re in! For multi energy, you’ll have to check out the video link - since sometimes I don’t even know 😅 but you could probably infer the energy type and test it out to your own liking as well!
oops i just commented this on the new video too! for multi-type / multi-energy, i typically check the deck list part of the video and sometimes they aren’t shown, so i need to look through the gameplay- but i don’t mind doing a little experimenting too, i normally try to use 1 energy cuz my luck is so terrible😭. thanks for the help and i hope you have a great year!

The sleeper is dugtrio and then coming in with Aerodactyl to clean up! Super fun, fast and I feel like a decent way to use Aerodactyl EX.

I have a bad idea to a new deck. Its based on using ten. Surge to change only Electric energies brought by magneton to electabuzz/raichu, and use another types pokemon like fire, grass, psychic or marshadow (marshadow is not a type, lol). In this idea the deck doesnt need Electric energy, only the other type chosen. What do you think about it?
I only tried with arcanine/moltres, and with volcarona/moltres
you cut the opponents moves out sometimes and makes it hard to follow. i dont mind if u cut out when nothing happens but at least show the animations for them placing cards or swapping pokemon to their bench...

Coin flips always seem to hold me up, especially when im in dire need. If i play Misty 10 times, 8 of those are tails on first flip. 1 out of 10 give me 1 energy. Finally, on the 10th flip, i get 2. I've never seen Misty (at least when i play it) award over 2 energy at best.

Why do you get annoyed when the opponent concedes?
It's just a personal thing especially if the match was good plus a video of concedes isn't fun content. It's still a W, but it drains that little bit of pride when you have a great game and outplay the other guy just to see a concede vs delivering that satisfying final blow. I concede if I'm def gunna lose bc of time and I wanna get into the battle quickly. Also I'm definitely salty and tilted and don't want to drag out my pain 🤣

@hacky7857 maybe a little haha. I don't see it as BM bc I think it's good practice to go through the motions. I only feel like BM is when they leave the app/ragequit during their turn or mid match and then come back only to play their one turn and do it again for 40 seconds. Rinse and repeat... That rustles my jimmies... big time. I also get mostly salty when I've played bad with energy allocation or active/bench management. Sometimes I'm an idiot... And I gotta learn that... that's okay 🤣
This is an awful deck. Bottom tier meme deck. cant even win. You discard energy not constantly but never cause your opponent just attaches to the bench...
