Thank you so much ❤️
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for the advices! Now I know I have to prepare hard….
Love how detailed it is🫶🫶
Glad it was helpful!♥️
Thank you so much for this.
You are welcome!
Hi Adeola, You are Adorable... Thanks for this video... This has helped cleared my doubt... But must I do my Jupeb programme in any school I want to school in?
Hi. Thank you. ❤️
No, I don't think it's compulsory to do JUPEB in the university you want to attend. You can do it in another school, then use the result to apply for admission somewhere else.
Thank you so much for the information. What textbooks are we to use?
There are a lot of textbooks recommended for JUPEB. I'd advice you to research or just wait until your lecturers recommend textbooks for you.
Nice one. Could you share the cbt app you used to practice for the entrance exam. 🙏🏿
I'm sorry, but I don't remember.
Thanks for the video. Does the university you register and study for JUPEB have to be the one you aim to get admission to
No. You can apply for admission at a different university.
Is the entrance examination for all universities that do jupeb because the one i am going to i haven't been informed about any entrance exams
I'm not sure if it's all the affiliated universities that conducts entrance exam.
Hi thanks for the video but my question is about direct entry after JUPEB
When exactly did you register for direct entry? Was it while you were attending JUPEB lectures or when your result comes out?
We registered for direct entry in March, If I'm not mistaken. And yes, classes were still ongoing and we hadn't even written the final Jupeb exam then.
Okay thanks for sharing 🙂
Please what are jupeb subjects combination for mass communication
I didn't do mass communication but I have a friend that did. She took Literature, Government and CRS.
I also have another friend that took Economics in place of CRS.
Hi , which recommended textbook is best for Government , Essentials or Comprehensive. And for literature, in exam do they test u on all the novels or do u just choose 1. And are the questions based on the analysis of the drama or novel
For Government, I didn't buy any textbooks. I used Google and my SS3 government textbook. If you're thinking of buying one, I would advise that you look at the ones your mates have and make sure it has everything you're looking for.
Because I randomly bought a literature textbook and it didn't even have all the analysis of the recommended texts.
So that was a waste of 6k. 😗
For Literature, you are required to read all the recommended texts (I think they are 16 in total - 4 prose, 4 drama and 8 poems)
The texts are divided into African and Non African.
So, basically, out of the 4 prose works, 2 are non African and 2 are African.
In exam, you will get questions from 1 selected African text and 1 selected non African text. (Of course, you won't know which one)
So, you'll be required to answer one of the 2 questions. You can pick either African or Non African.
There is also a Literary Appreciation section and the recommended Shakespearean text for the OBJ.
So, you basically have to read all the texts.
Yes. The questions are based on the analysis of the texts. They could ask you to explain specific narrative techniques or themes or subject matter or characters.
You could also be asked to explain how similar the text is to it's genre.
For example, “how Jane Eyre is a Gothic novel?”
Or “how Black Woman is a Negritude poem?”
@@xoxoadeola thank you ♥
Good and well detailed video. I want to know the exam format of Lasu jupeb, will it be cbt or pbt cos I am not sure. I need answers.
I didn't write jupeb in LASU, so I can't say.
@@xoxoadeola Ok thanks
@@adamjubril1560I’m also doing Lasu Jupeb
I’m nervous 😅
@@_ohdu Ok, nice to meet you. I went there today at badagry, it's really far oo🥲
Hi , what were ur subject combinations
Literature in English
Government
Islamic Studies
pls did ur school ever take fingerprint attendance for the jupeb classes?
No. They took attendance but not with fingerprints.😂
Just signatures.
Did UNILAG have a second batch for registration last year? Please answer.
Yes, they did. A lot of my friends were part of the second batch.
@@xoxoadeola when did the second batch start please? Like the month?
@@xoxoadeola I went for registration and they said it is closed.

You can text her if you have any question, but be specific as to why you're texting.
So I’d like to ask what lectures are like? Are they everyday , also about how many lectures in a day?. Thanks
It depend on what you're studying. As a Law student in UNILAG, with my subject combination being IRS, LIT and GOV, I had classes 4 times a week, from Monday to Thursday. And 2 lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays, and just one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
My friend who was doing Economics instead of IRS, had lectures two times a week, and 3 classes in one day.
@@xoxoadeola thanks so much for the response.
@@xoxoadeola thanks so much for this.
You're welcome. ♥️
Just concluded it tooo😂😂😂😂…:: do you know when they’ll release the results?😅
No, but I'm so nervous. 😂
I can't wait to see what I get.
I heard it's coming out soon though.
Did everyone one in your uni write the entrance exam
No one in my set wrote entrance exam.
I heard that for law and medicine no matter how many points you get you would be taken to 100lv….
No, I don't think that's true.
@@xoxoadeola the jupeb director in veritas university Abuja made the announcement recently that is the new policy…maybe it starts with this new set
I want to study nursing can I apply for the jupeb program
You will have to confirm if the school offers nursing as a course and if you meet up with the requirements.
Also, you have to figure out what subject combinations you're going to take.
@@xoxoadeola the school is oau sha
@@xoxoadeola thank youu my love 💕
Is the Jupeb result out yet
Yes, it is.
Was the exam written in a cbt format
No, it wasn't CBT.
How was the Jupeb
The exam was alright. A bit hard, but still okay.
Pls is the entrance exam hard and can one fail?
I didn't write entrance exam, but from everything I've heard about it... It's not that hard. It can't possibly be as hard as the actual Jupeb exam.
Just make sure you prepare!
@@xoxoadeola thanks
@@xoxoadeolaplease how do you suggest I prepare for the entrance exam
@@tenibeckley2215 I heard that it's WAEC level questions they ask, so maybe try using WAEC Past Questions.
I think there are also some Mock Exams on the Internet that you can take before the entrance exam.
@@xoxoadeola pls can you link me with any one online
Because I am really worried 🤦🏼♀️
Pls how much is unilag fees
I can't say for sure.
@@xoxoadeola ok tnx pls when is the form out

It's already out.
Woooooooow🥳
How many points
I got 14 points.
@@xoxoadeola Scholar 🥳
Pls what government and literature textbooks do you use
I only bought literature texts and the Jupeb recommended literature textbook.
I used Google for the rest. 😗
Hello adeola I'll like to ask you a question please?
What do you want to ask?
@@xoxoadeola so I've started my JUPEB in UNN (GLCRS)
And it feels like I don't know what to study, and you recommend specific for getting 16 in GLCRS?
I would advice you not to slack off. I felt the same way when I started my JUPEB. It felt like there was nothing to read. But there's always something to read.
Try to read or revise what you were taught every single day, even if you already understand it. I tried to read for an hour everyday and at the end of the week, I would answer past questions or quiz myself.
@@xoxoadeola thanks, could you kindly help out with material, any material at all, what so ever 🙏🙏
Your lecturers ought to recommend textbooks for you.
If you're a Literature student, try to buy the recommended texts. If you can't afford them, then try downloading.
I only bought one textbook and some of the texts (downloaded the ones I could). I mostly relied on Google and the notes given in class.
But you should do what'll work best for you.
Do UNILAG really add the scores of their first incourse exam, their mock exam with the JUPEB?
Because people say that Jupeb is 85% of our total score in UNILAG
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure.
Good stuff
Is there somewhere I could message privately though, I have some question?

You can text her if you have any question, but be specific as to why you're texting.
I'm not trying to get information with regards registration, I just want to talk to someone that has undergone the program completely (I'm fortunately going for law as well)
To start with, after the program, when I enter 200L, will I have to re-take the entire 100L courses????
No, just the GST courses
I genuinely appreciate.
Are you now studying law ?
Yeah, that's the plan.
What was your points
And also what is the faith of someone who doesn't get the cutoff points for a particular course ?
I got 14 points.
I guess they give you another course.
