One of the greatest advice I heard a long time ago that has stuck with me is to learn to listen. Sometimes it helps to listen to everything and everyone, listening doesn't mean you agree or argue about it, just listen. It helps to realize what is and what isn't. You come to realize how little people think for themselves and are just repeating to you other people's opinions, you're already in a better place for listening and having your own opinions.
