This was a lot of fun. Need more content like this. Need to hear Lola and also You Really Got Me by the Kinks. And Anarchy In The U.K by the Sex Pistols.
Hello Biss, my name is God and welcome back to my channel, where although I once was a music critic, I never react to music videos (because I've seen them all already). I knew a LOT about British rock as a teen because I read every music mag I could get my hands on. But it's a lot harder these days because everyone just hears music digitally and often you don't even see the name of the artist, the song name, or certainly read about them anywhere unless they get as massive as Dua Lipa (not British, I know), or if you're diehard enough to read Stereogum online or somesuch.
When I was in my teens NO ONE my age knew any songs from the 1910's or '20's. Shows how starved the youth of today is for good music that they know much about music from my youth.
Bittersweet Symphony, the Verve's biggest hit, is a sad story... they used an instrumental sample from an orchestra that covered the Rolling Stones with permission but used more of it than they had paid for. This got them sued by the Rolling Stones, who now own their stuff, and ended the band. A favorite song of mine. Keep your fun work coming Biss.
AFAIK, The Verve were sued by Allen Klein, a 'Stones former manager. Jagger and Keith Richards weren't involved in the dispute. All Bittersweet Symphony royalties went to Klein's company, ABKCO Records, who owned the composition rights. The Rolling Stones did not _"own their stuff"._ The orchestral version, which Richard Ashcroft sampled, was by Andrew Oldham. Oldham later sued ABKCO Records because ABKCO didn't pay him his royalties from Bittersweet Symphony. Jagger and Richards collaborated with Jody Klein (who became head of ABKCO Records after Allen Klein died) to reassign the rights to Ashcroft. I _think_ they gave Ashcroft *_all_* the royalties, not just composition rights and future earnings. However that's partly based on the comment "they can afford it" which I _think_ I heard on BBC radio or TV when it happened. Best Wishes. ☮
Kinks 1960s: “You Really Got Me.” (iconic, arguably one of the most influential songs of the 60s), "All Day and All of the Night" (great follow up), "Tired of Waiting for You", "Sunny Afternoon" (1st world problems?), Waterloo Sunset". ① Next: the '70s. I preferred The Stranglers, who formed before the invention of the Sex Pistols. Best Wishes. ☮ ① I liked the Kink's whimsical "Dedicated Follower of Fashion", The Sex Pistols were 'invented' by Malcolm McLaren. He interviewed for people to be in the band. They weren't musicians who formed a band 'organically', They were very carefully crafted by him to 'lead the new wave', and succeed. However, they were deliberately created, like "The Monkeys", and some "boy bands". McLaren was so clever that a lot of Sex Pistols fans didn't even realise they were manufactured.
Just to be cheeky, I'll suggest All Day And All Of The Night by The Kinks (the follow-up hit after You Really Got Me - proto-metal from 1964), and Submission by The Sex Pistols, which they blatantly stole from All Day And All Of The Night. Another rip-off of the same song is Hello I Love You by The Doors - and The Kinks ripped themselves off by recycling the song into Destroyer.
Love your reaction Miss Bisscute.💓💓💓 great idea react to other reactions😂. Now you can react to British Rock bands in your channel. Please react to The Cure (so many hits): Love song.😉
Here's a request which I'm sure everyone will love (it was super-popular on MTV back in the day): The Three Little Pigs by Green Jellÿ. Be sure to watch the original music video! Another fun one (and actually a great song): Ass*** by Denis Leary, who is a stand-up comedian and actor who was in Demolition Man. With this one you again have to watch the original video. And something that will get you demonetized: Code Blue by T.S.O.L.

"Mojo Pin" live at Glastonberry, by Jeff Buckley. Also "Grace", "Lover, You Should've Come over". Once you go down his rabbit hole, there's no coming back.
Couple of thoughts. 1. Vivienne and Jaxon...those two are the most knowledgeable React teens when it comes to music...far and away. 2. Sex Pistols and the Kinks? I'll give you a Kinks tune..."Come Dancing"...was big on MTV back in the early 80's. th-cam.com/video/xRUE0aAI5o8/w-d-xo.html 3. It just dawned on me...there are parallels between the Kinks and Oasis. Specifically, a pair of brothers who could not get along. Oh, yeah, and they're British. And because you haven't had a great experience with the Stones, I'll give you a couple more to consider...may not change your mind, but will definitely give you more of an insight into what the Stones are capable of (I love the older stuff, but this is the stuff that came out as my music tastes were forming): "Mixed Emotions" (Live) - th-cam.com/video/NASYGTIpzvk/w-d-xo.html "Rock And A Hard Place" - th-cam.com/video/7pYBQg4qifU/w-d-xo.html
The Sex Pistols kicked off the British Punk movement in the 70s, and I think were really only around as a band for a few years, but they're super iconic to the Punk scene, not just for the music, but because of the wild characters that they were, the fashion, the whole thing. The lead singer, Johnny ROTTEN, is an old man now, but still around, and still an abrasive loud mouth with a bad attitude, who's looking to piss people off, and start a fight! So, still very Punk! Bassist Sid Vicious is also considered very iconic, and they even made a movie about him and his girlfriend called "Sid and Nancy". I forget the whole story, but something about them being junkies and strung out on whatever, which I guess is also very old school Punk? I only really know a little of their music, but "Anarchy In The UK" is one of their most famous songs, that's worth checking out th-cam.com/video/cBojbjoMttI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KI8EhrvUB-yC1shk For The Kinks, definitely do "Lola"! th-cam.com/video/GP0X0CRMZLU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZanQRdjlArhvBHP3
kinks - you really got me now ,, sex pistols - god save the queen .. as they are a punk band that would be the best mainstream song of theirs.. please check out some more canadian rock bands .. like April Wine, BTO, or even Great Big Sea,, Spirit of the West (song -Home for a rest) also for sure band Our Lady Peace song some where out there
Wow, someone finally expressed exactly how I feel about The Rolling Stones. I really like a handful of their songs, but I'm not much of a fan of theirs in general. I DO respect their talent and place in history though.
Forced laughter says "I have no self-confidence, please think nice things about me". Early Rolling Stones is better than their later stuff IMO - there was more variety and they weren't just imitating themselves. Listen to "As Tears Go By" if you get the chance.
The singer on ace of spads died a few years ago i saw him on a tv special real nice guy, Van Halen, did "you really got me now" too?bitter sweet symphony is cool ,you look buitiful biss nice reaction
"The Rolling Stones are still going?" Yeah but a British newspaper covering one of their gigs headlined the article as "Night of the Living Dead." These kids did well, actually. I* don't know enough about the Kinks to recommend anything but I know the Pistols..."Pretty Vacant" has an iconic riff in it and "God Save the Queen", definitely.
Hey Biss!! Hows ur Friday going?. Always love when u upload ur reactions are real & not forced u always give ur honest opinion on what ur reacting to & i love that. You should check out M. I. A. A British Sri-Lankan rapper shes amazing id suggest her song Borders its got a real message behind it hopefully u like it & since this is a video dealing with British artists i thought it appropriate to recommend her anyways luv ya Bisscutie ❤❤❤❤
Hi Bis, Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant and The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset. The Sex Pistols did a gig in Manchester about 1976 and a lot of the audience started bands after that which caused the Manchester scene which lasted quite a few years, Joy Division, The Smiths and more which eventually Oasis were the biggest. When I lived in Spain in the late 1980s, early 1990s I saw a 1960s famous Spanish band called Los Bravos, who were still going and had some good stuff, as were a lot of old 1960s and 1970s British bands still going in Benidorm on the strip of bars and clubs in the British triangle on the Levante side.
Funny to see something different. I personally love that channel. You must see the videos about Linkin Park, they are 7 years old and very funny. Start with TEENS REACT TO LINKIN PARK and then LINKIN PARK REACTS TO TEENS REACT TO LINKIN PARK where Mike react to their reaction, and then you finish with TEENS REACT TO LINKIN PARK REACTS TO TEENS REACT TO LINKIN PARK (it's quite a tongue twister lol).
The Rolling Stones had a ton of hits, try 'WILD HORSES' We love you Biss. Stop telling our secrets about mind altering experiences especially with Pink Floyd, Zeppelin and Peter Frampton
I wouldn't bother too much with the Sex Pistols. The best thing they ever did was their 1976 gig in Manchester that inspired the formation of so many great bands who watched them and thought - "Hey! We could do this!"
She's Like a Rainbow was amazing when I heard it on a messed up old tape when I was a kid around the early 90s. I still jam out to Honky Tonk Woman and Under My Thumb, among others.
The thing that people always seem to forget when Ozzy bit the head off the bat, he was intoxicated. And didn't know it was a real bat, he thought It was 1 of the fake oneson the stage. he just happened to grab the one that got thrown on stage by someone, but he didnt know until someone backstage told him. Poor bat. The only things I can't figure out is, How did someone get their hands on an unconscious bat? And why would they throw it on the stage? Thats just so mean.
Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK, God Save The Queen & Pretty Vacant. The Kinks - You Really Got Me & Lola. The original video gave me some hope for the Gen-Z's. Jaxon (brown, short haired teen) is awesome, he was born in the wrong generation & Vivienne (the one in pink) has great taste when it comes to music.
They have no idea what metal and rock is when we talking british were mostly talking English queen iron maiden judas priest black sabath led zeplin /deep purple /rainbow/white snake/saxon/ free/thin lizzy all are the true rock metal bands of the 70s and 80s❤❤❤
I think Bittersweet Symphony was released in 1997 from the album Urban Hymms which is still one of my Favourite ever albums- you should listen to the whole album; it’s a masterpiece!! ❤❤
Biss you simply MUST react to the Sex Pistols now, God Save The Queen, Anarchy In The UK and Pretty Vacant are necessary for your musical education. They are the original Punk band, genuinely the first band to ever be described as Punk and I LOVE THEM! As for the Kinks start with You Really Got Me, the track that INVENTED rock music as we know it. ❤
Truth is, the British Invasion, and in general the music as we know it, wouldn't exist without The Beatles. If you want British music to react to, they are the royalty.
♥ these React Channel vids! I blame those darned kids react for my addiction to react vids 😳 BTW - they recently just dropped a part deux to this vid! Should def do this Kinks song! British Invasion was more early mid 60s before the hippies of later 60s. Just saying. Agree with that one girl. Post grunge music of the late 90s was kinda weak overall. To be fair you've only done like 3 Rolling Stones songs. They have a big & diverse catalogue. LoL at that girls mom! 😃 You *MUST* do The Sex Pistols! 😎
Fun Reaction from these teens and they are pretty knowledgeable on British Rock. Songs from the kinks 3 come to mind You Really Got Me [1964] Waterloo Sunset [1967] Lola [1970] As for the Sex Pistols to be honest i don't mind punk but i just could not stand the sex pistols just being honest. Still a great reaction Biss.♥
I am writing this to help out bisscute and this video and this channel with the algorithm everyone hit the like button and the share button and copy the link it helps bisscute a lot and check out her other channels and her twitch channel and most importantly her Patreon 🥹🙏
Although I think Anarchy in the UK will win the poll for the Sex Pistols, I will suggest Who Killed Bambi? And for The Kinks I will vote for Destroyer (although the season is right for their holiday hit Father Christmas).
I think I would prefer a reaction for your reaction of your better reactions... Imagine you reacting of yourself funny reactions? Or People reactions of your reactions? 😂
Hey Madalena, so you like the Stones songwriting but Mick's singing not so much? Then maybe the Motörhead cover of "Sympathy for the Devil" may be for you. Sadly this song has no video.
PLEASE, when You can, Please react to Poppy’s new song “The centers falling out” It dropped right when her album dropped, You always have the greatest reactions :)
Here's to another 3 years of bisscute reactions
Aww
The reacting to reactors reacting is a fun kind of inception
The Kinks song Lola is great. 😊😊❤❤
Fun fact: Coke threatened to sue the band so they had to fly home to re-record the single changing Coca-Cola to Cherry Cola.
I grew up during the British invasion. Their music is in my bloodline. You definitely need to react to more of these iconic bands. Thank you Biss.
I was in the first grade in school when the Beatles first "invaded" the USA. I was just a child, but I surrendered immediately to their music.
Nice vid, Biss; bright kids, they did much better than I thought they would. I would suggest "Lola" from the Kinks. 👍😊
Thank you for the suggestion
Now I just want to play " Father Christmas " by the Kinks
I wish I would have thought of that one. Good pick.
I guess it is mid-November so it's not too soon to blast it.
Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the U.K.
Reactor reacting to reactors reacting
Facebook isn't the only one that's meta.
You see a lot of TH-camrs out there with that fake laugh. But Biss I know you're legit 😂.
Think about it, the Kinks released, You Really Got Me, back in 1964, 60 years ago!
Sex Pistols - 'Pretty Vacant'
The Kinks - 'All Day All Night'
Thanks, I will add it to the list
I love REACT it's very entertaining😁thanks for the video Biss you never disappoint❤
Thank you, glad you loved the reaction
The British Invasion bands were influenced by American bands from 1950’s, the influence went back and forth across the Atlantic
The innovation of the British bands was incorporating American blues into rock music. No blues, no British invasion.
That serious look into the camera after mocking that girl's laugh made me lmao.
The Kinks Lola reminded me of having Liberty (shore leave in the Navy)in Naples Italy. Down in the sailor district if you catch my drift
So funny to see you react to reactors😂 Now i need more! Bitte mehr davon❤
Thank you, glad you loved the reaction
As they say in my old neighborhood " Yuns Gettin' Educated" 😂
crazy watching some of them react as teens when you used to see them on kids react segment.
The Kinks - Lola
This was a lot of fun. Need more content like this. Need to hear Lola and also You Really Got Me by the Kinks. And Anarchy In The U.K by the Sex Pistols.
You can't go wrong going down any of these rabbit holes, Bisscute. Whichever artist you choose, you'll be satisfied! :)
Good imitation of her laugh Madalina 😃 😀

The girl in the pink t-shirt was totally rockin the Hole t-shirt. What a fun band back in the day...
Someone joked online a while ago that a lot of women bands were named after feminine activities or body parts like Hole or The Breeders. Pretty funny.
Bittersweet Symphony, the Verve's biggest hit, is a sad story... they used an instrumental sample from an orchestra that covered the Rolling Stones with permission but used more of it than they had paid for. It is sad. Slight sliver lining, in 2019 Jagger and Richards signed the rights to the song back to Richard Ashcroft.
AFAIK, The Verve were sued by Allen Klein, a 'Stones former manager. Jagger and Keith Richards weren't involved in the dispute. All Bittersweet Symphony royalties went to Klein's company, ABKCO Records, who owned the composition rights. You really need to react to more Motörhead. I recommend their live performance of the song “Overkill” from the “Stage Freight” concert
My favorite song by them is "Creep". That song is so fucking special
A legit overlooked but powerful Motorhead song - "1916'
Thank you for the suggestion
Kinks 1960s: “You Really Got Me.” (iconic, arguably one of the most influential songs of the 60s), "All Day and All of the Night" (great follow up), "Tired of Waiting for You", "Sunny Afternoon" (1st world problems?), Waterloo Sunset". ① Next: the '70s.

For your listening pleasure, "Lola" (1970) by the Kinks, and for your musical edification "Anarchy in the U.K." (1976) by the Sex Pistols.
Love abit of British rock wish lots of happiness bisscute ❤

Come dancing by the Kinks is the one I grew up with from 1983. Enjoyed your reaction Biss, thank you. It was fun as always.
The Kinks "all day all night"!
Lola from the Kinks
I love this vidéos with those kids they are much older now before they were doing the same with them at a much earlier age loved it Biss ❤😁👌

You could react to The Beatles "I Am The Walrus" and then watch the REACT video where teens do a lyric breakdown.
thanks for reaction
You need to react to music from the punk era you will love it.
The Kinks - either 'Strangers' or 'This Time Tomorrow'. The Sex Pistols - 'Bodies'
A video that is worth the watch in the vein of British music is Queen & Jessie J's London 2012 Performance
React to 'Bodies' from the Sex Pistols. Very few reactors have the courage to react to it.
Maybe in the future

Although I think Anarchy in the UK will win the poll for the Sex Pistols, I will suggest Who Killed Bambi? And for The Kinks I will vote for Destroyer (although the season is right for their holiday hit Father Christmas).
I think I would prefer a reaction for your reaction of your better reactions... Imagine you reacting of yourself funny reactions? Or People reactions of your reactions? 😂
