We are finally here!! First week of orientation for medical school!
It has been a long week and I am happy to say that I have survived! I am so excited to be here and looking forward to all the days ahead, no matter how hard and how filled with studying they might be.
I am finally starting medical school! :)

This was such a cute & accurate video! I would have been TERRIFIED to vlog during my M1 orientation but you were so confident & honest. I would have loved to watch you before MY own start of med school bc I had no idea what to expect! (I feel like we all did this right?)

Thanks! Yeah definitely:) love everyone I’ve met so far! I’m excited to learn more about systems this year, and move on from the nitty gritty science 😋
@@finance2medicine yeah the biochem is never fun. But everyone freaks out about it on Step 1 - so you have to truly know it!
That’s a good point, better understand it all now then have to relearn it later 🥴

How many people are in the program?
My program stressed making sure your computer can use the correct exam program too lol. Thankfully my computer works with it so I do not need to buy a new one.
Ill be doing donor lab too so it will be very interesting lol; I am not sure how I will feel about it yet LOL.

Yeah the computer situation was annoying, but I’m glad it’s all good now!
The thing they stressed to us about donor, was no matter how you feel, it’s valid and you can feel those emotions no matter if it’s good or bad and whether you like the process or you don’t🙂everyone reacts to it differently, but it’s important to value the knowledge that we gain from it.

I wonder how it felt seeing the faces of the donors! Wow it's really an experience huh
It’s a little eerie, and some things are hard to look at, but it’s all for us to be able to learn to the best of our abilities, and everyone processes it differently. It was truly humbling and a privilege to be able to learn from people that donated to science
