So the bed in the kit is correct for a camper special ford truck, which to my knowledge would only have came on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Also the camper specials with the hidden spare tire in the bedside and longer wheelbase were not 4x4 for the most part. It’s possible ford built one that is 4x4 but I’ve never seen that combo. Also it’s worth noting the chassis in the kit is a combination of ford high boy parts and 1/2 ton truck parts. Most of the highboys were leaf springs in the front end. Seems like this kit has been mashed up a few times over the years and some of the details were blended.

I would say the roll bars would go great on the 2nd PU. Both look great though!

I'm working on this now. I am not impressed. A lot of fitment issues. By far I prefer Revell kits. I haven't tried a Tamiya kit yet though. I've heard they can be hit and miss.
