The truth is they freakin botched this whole thing. They had an opportunity to really speak to the greatness of these individuals and decided to make it more about drama rather than speak about 2 OF THE SUPER-BOWLS that made the dynasty.

Yah cause there are no other shows or films or specials that cover all the high points and superbowls. That's not what this is , it's about the people not the games .

@@chadbinette3201 idiotic reply. It’s literally called the Dynasty and didn’t even go into the 03 04 teams it was just a montage. If they wanted to focus on it being about the scandals they should have totally renamed this and advertised this differently. Regardless I like the show, but I don’t think this is the show to cement and really go into detail about the dynasty. It has failed to even come close to how the last dance showed the intricacies of the Bulls teams

@@rjth796 idiotic reply cause I can realize it's based on a BOOK and not a highlight film. You want to relive the glory years there are plenty of shows/films like that, go watch "do your job" and "greatest games" . This was more to focus on the fact it wasn't always rainbows and parades but they still found a way to win. Do you really think people outside of new England would watch a 10 episode docuseries on the high points of the patriots in the last 20+ years? No! Most NFL fans outside of NE hate the patriots. And comparing it to the last dance, maybe go back and rewatch it, did the last dance talk low points? Like Pippen refusing to go into a game? The beef with the bulls GM? Rodman disappearing to party and MJ having to go get him? Hell after the last dance Pippen is Soo butt hurt he trashes mj everytime there is a camera in his face.

The documentary series, produced by Imagine Documentaries, is executive produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein, Justin Wilkes, and Jeff Benedict, along with Matthew Hamachek, who also serves as director. Miranda Johnson-Smith, Meredith Kaulfers and Jonna McLaughlin are co-executive producers.

People seem to forget this docuseries was made while Belichick was STILL the head coach. Krafts, Brady, basically everyone involved was so over Belichick years ago but they were still winning so they dealt with it. I think Andy Reid and the chiefs are showing us a coach doesn't need to be a tyrant to win. And I know Reid has had success without Mahomes what's Belichick done without Brady? Drive a team into the ditch? Belichick has had every chance to tell his side of the story and bill just sits back , grunts, snorts and says "no comment " or "were not talking about that" while players and everyone else involved gives their side of the story. Belichick didn't do himself any favors .

Jeez, this crew is just full of Belichick fan boys/girl....the truth is what it is, not what you want it to be. Hamachek was gracious to put up with their comments and Wiggins glares - it is a bad look for the WEEI team.
For the record. J. Kraft did say that Belichick wanted to let this play out, because Hernandez had not been found guilty of anything yet. But Wiggins and the crew completely missed the context of why J. Kraft pushed back and insisted that the team needed to set an example. But that is what happens when you are only half listening because you are looking for something that isn't there.

I got sucked into this doc this weekend. To really tell the story of the dynasty you'd need 20 or 30 episodes. They barely cover the Carolina and Philly superbowls. Also barely feature Welker Gronk and Edelman. This documentary is overhyped.

  • @rjth796

This guy is such a pompous asshole. Acting like this is remotely a good documentary about THE DYNASTY. An absolute joke, he literally chose to skim through all the great Super Bowl teams and all the precious memories and the player’s perspectives on it, and to focus on all the allegations for more drama. Absolute garbage they should have totally renamed this and advertised this docuseries differently. With my frustrations being let out I don’t necessarily think this is a bad series. Just a major disappointment for what they made it seem like it was going to be about. So many great moments just not even talked about. Utter failure on whoever decided to call this The Dynasty, this man should have watched the last dance as reference material because that’s how you showcase the brilliance of a teams era. This guy is a self righteous clown 🤡

what a joke. petty selfish. Ungrateful!!!! im afraid to watch any further because im starting to not like brady's tone. his self righteousness is driving me crazy. i use to see him as joe cool. now he's making me feel bad for Bledsoe. Too bad they didn't take a cue from Bill and learn how to STFU.
And i noticed that they didn't bother covering the 21 game winning streak or the year brady went down, i mean they covered it but dismissed it as fast as they introduced the 08 season. i thought this was a celebration of the greatest dynasty of all time. why do i get a feeling that this story will highlight the comeback and loss to the Eagles and treat the climactic conclusion Superbowl 53 like it were a mere footnote.... Way to celebrate the importance of coaching and teamwork to the remaining men on the 53 man roster mr. kraft.
this is absolutely a puff piece, if it wasn't it would have some real insight into the strategy and tactics. there is none of that in here. this is cherry picking melodramatic horsesh*t.
