Why does anyone need blame other than Aaron? Coaches and owners have accepted bad guys forever. You think Bill ever thought AH was killing people? Of course he didn't. Smh

Agree with you 100%. If nothing else Bill not trading him kept AH in the area where he couldn’t escape his crimes forever. Who knows what AB would’ve done if he ended up in a place like Seattle with a whole different vibe. He might’ve gone a spree where many were lost.

To believe that Aaron Hernandez was the only troubling kid coming out of college on his way to the NFL, is naive.
Every year, there's atleast one guy who faces the difficult decision that Aaron Hernandez failed to correctly make. Most see the opportunity in front of them and realize the street life isn't worth compared to being an NFL star.
Hernandez decision ultimately cost him his life. He decided to stay around the wrong people and trying to blame Belichick for it is asinine.

Its such a tragedy how a traumatic childhood can affect someone as an adult. Aaron became angry which eventually lead to his downfall and self destruction and not to mention his brother DJ is losing his mind as well plotting school shootings until the police caught him. Mean while Terri Hernandez their mother is still alive, well and taking 0 accountability for the men she had a part in forming. What a traggic shame.

That’s an excuse of weak people. Tons of people get up each day and are positive contributors to society while carrying a burden of trauma. You’re doing a disservice to those people.

Guarantee Belichick thought "I coached Lawrence Taylor I can handle this kid" Pretty crazy that Hernandez asked Belichick to trade him to the west Coast and Bill said no but fast forward 5-6 years and Belichick TRADES gronk to Matt Patricias dumpster fire lions and gronk had to threaten to retire to stay the year. With this docuseries coming out I'm pretty positive Belichick will never be a head coach in the NFL again.

The Krafts obviously have a axe to grind with bill bellechick. No problem throwing him under the bus. Kraft was the one who signed Aaron to a big contract. There’s video footage of Kraft praising and kissing Aaron. What a bunch of hypocrites

I felt the same way Bill thought. Let it play out. He’s a hell of a player. No way this is true. Now hindsight 20/20 cut him the second the cops knocked the first time at his house. But people dumping on Bill for that is bs. Me and I guarantee the majority thought the same thing at the time

I'm not a pats fan but if Arron was on my team i would say the same thing let's let it play out. He was a hell of a player.

This installment made me really question the mindset of it's author. First, this entire story was told with this moody score playing to elicit a kind of foreboding feeling to manipulate what's being said. Lets clear up a few myths this installment overstates. Most kids coming into the league do not come from high income families with glowing ideals and perfect lives. Many players have troubled pasts and some get more on the radar than others. Michael Irving was a three time champion for the Dallas Cowboys... and a coke head. Now if someone dies during one of those transactions, does that mean everyone should have known it would play out that way?
Look at all the trouble Lawrence Taylor has been in throughout his life? And I absolutely DEPLORE that segment where they SUGGEST Hernandez pleads with Belichick to trade him as if the context here is its the coach's fault and he should know everything Hernandez was into intimately. I laughed out loud at the sheer stupidity of that suggestion because the author makes up the context that is not remotely backed up. That was installed for entertainment purposes, not as a verified fact or to even suggest how it might have been said. Hernandez was too seasoned a manipulator to just come out and spill his situation that clearly. I'm confident if he asked to be traded, he filtered it with allot of reasoning that would suggest it was not his fault. And no coach would let someone go on such vague reasoning with so much invested in him financially. Its never that clear cut.
I felt sorry for Kraft because Hernandez was most likely using him every step of the way. And when he felt like he had the owner in his back pocket, he understood he could tell him anything and Kraft would believe it. Hernandez was definitely a troubled person who couldn't get away from his past. I don't have much sympathy for him because he ignored the help and advice of so many people and selected the fate he received. That's not a new a story for allot of young people struggling today. But I also do not expect an organization to anticipate every move these broken individuals can make. So many players come into the league exactly like him with weed being an issue. It was a calculated gamble that many every teams take and lose. This was just more high profile because of the nature of the collapse.

It was everyone’s fault. Kraft maybe not as much but urban Meyer and billicheck both have a lot of blame in handling the situation. In college Hernandez allegedly shot someone in the face and got away with it and was always in trouble but got away with it because he was a Florida football player. Same thing with the patriots. They just kept giving him chance after chance because he was a good football player and didn’t care about Aaron Hernandez the person.

Bill got thrown under the bus in that episode. The only one who deserves blame was Hernandez. The Krafts are using this to crap all over Bill because they knew Bill wanted nothing to do with this.

    I just watched the episode.
I disagree with the thought that he would have been ok in Seattle(or just far away). He was looking for trouble, 'Scarface status'. He would have found those people. And he probably would have moved some of his CT boys to wherever he was.
Unless someone really convinced him to shed his connections to his old life, he wasn't gonna change.

Aaron was amazing in college at football . The only reason he went low in the draft is all 32 teams had to know he was trouble. The sad part is if he did the right thing there is no doubt he would one day be wearing a yellow jacket. I truly believe he was in the closet about some issues and someone was going to out him and that was reason for the murder. Either way it was horrible what he did. As a fan him not being part of the team definitely cost NE a run at other championships.

They knew he lived on the edge. But newsflash, he ain't the only one. Belichek had already worked with troublesome characters, and there are some on every team.

If Aaron Hernandez would've been drafted by the Raiders he would still be playing today.
Having "alleged" murderers on your starting roster only adds to the glory of Raider Nation.

Nothing against Mego but I'm pretty sure Guerrero was at least mentioned in previous episodes and Brady himself said that his body focus started after the 2nd Super Bowl win. So I don't think the theory of "maybe this is setting up something" related to that is accurate.

Wes did say that Aaron got on him while they were in the weight room. Aaron crap on him and was threading Wes. Wes simple walked away from Aarons bad attitude.

I think Bill figured out he couldn’t get into Aaron’s head, or intimidate him like he did other players. Maybe he was just scared of the guy. Knowing he was out of his mind in getting to know him.

This video is a perfect example of why your views/subscriber count are so low. You don’t talk about the video title until 2m into the video, instead you mumble about sunburns and nonsense. Give the viewer what the title promises instantly - TH-cam 101. It’s shocking so many TH-cam channels struggle with such obvious basics.

It’s not just for Patriots fans, Jones. It’s a documentary, not a hype video. I agree with his Ernie Adams take. That guy needs to be pressed. I agree with Mego and Jones on Aaron. They knew he was talented but people can sense when they’re in the midst of a predatory psychopath. Much like a rattlesnake. You think they’re interesting but you keep your distance

Don't care. Zzzz this lament over of the past by the often annoying numerous Boston sports talking heads is so tired and predictable. We had 20 great years, move on. Draft is coming and future is bright.

Nobody helped Hernandez they all left him out to dry when they knew he was troubled. The post mortem autopsy showed he had CTE. HE asked to be traded? Damn man Hernandez was left all alone when they should have helped him.

They're a football organization filled with spoiled rich men. How the hell are they supposed to help someone as troubled as Hernandez truly needed professional help. Bill and Kraft may say they are a team but it's a sport and filled with individual egos and self interest.
