Agree man, having the boxes is way more aesthetically pleasing and if you've played Sims you know how room deco can improve your mood! Also one of the reasons why I will never go Digital so long there is a Physical version.
Dude i love the way you edit your videos , i like to buy famicom games from japan and when you have the small preview of the game has been so good for finding the ones i like , also iv been watching so many of them i get the hard off song stuck in my head ,
Great pickup and video as always. I recall myself collecting DK64 in the same way you did; get the large box without the pack first and get the pack later. It is a good strategy since large box games are not that often found so when you have a chance at good deal, make sureyou do not miss the chance. Dentsu de go 64 does have special box version with MIC included like Hey you Pikachu. It also has special controller, just like playstation one does. From my point of view on collecting, I prefer CIB as that does not get me greedy more. I am the type of guy if I have a cartridge only, I will get the same game in CIB later, ultimately spending more money than I expected. Lastly, there are some protectors for large N64 games sold on Ali Express. I am not sure whether Japan is open for Ali Express, but when you search it, there are some sellers selling various protectors.
on the gameboy stuff, with the anniversary of the Japanese launch I've been kinda wanting to get back into collecting for it especially some of those import games we didn't get over here. also I could do either, boxed or loose depends on the price. PS. 17:32 was actually Fatal Fury Special (Garou Densetsu) one of my favorite fighting series besides SF2!
If you want to go see an N64DD in the wild, try the Hardoff in Takayanagi. At least it was there back in summer 2023, and some Japanese Hardoff youtubers seem to have seen it there more recently as well.
Many thanks or the video! Im following from long time ago, and i will visit Japan for next july. Can you recommend me a place where I can buy Apple peripherals such as keyboards, mouse, etc. ? I have an Macintosh 1985. Also, I will complete my retro-museum at home with some games :)
Psp games and ps vita ❤ ds ❤ hope u show us some games we don’t need English to play 😊. The ps1 I.Q looks interesting I like games like that and its cheap in Japan 😊
Excellent additions to the collection and so much variety, and having early access to the video via patreon is awesome. Cant wait for the next one.
Appreciate all the support, thanks Mark!

That Heiwa pachinko actually a good find for that price, I need to go to Tachikawa

I had that yellow Digimon when I was a kid! Brought back a few memories seeing that!

Appreciate the info! I forgot to mention it here but I found DK64 in the small box a while ago in a previous video :)
That game was fatal fury special. I also saw there hokuto no ken on ps1!
I have cart only games but I do prefer with the box’s but it’s expensive boxed game in Canada

Good catch, thanks for the correction!
I try to go only box with manual if possible, but that’s mostly for PS2 and GBA
Love the content man, keep it up!!
Thank you!

That's a great tip, I haven't seen an N64DD in a very long time and I love visiting Hard Offs with these museum like pieces. Gonna look it up!
dang you shot up in numbers haha
Super Sick trip Made out like a bandit with the DK64
About the going rate for the Sega Aiwa, however I'd like to think it came boxed for that money. Super rare machine though to find in the wild👍🏻
Finding it in the box would definitely be nuts.
hell yeah all the dragon ball games
Keep up the great work! I love your videos ! 🤌🏻
Appreciate it!

I'm not sure, maybe ask around on the Discord as there are more people that might know. Regardless, you'll have a great time, enjoy!
Leuke video Pim. Dankje
whats a rumble version for n64 games?
In Japan, after the rumble pack was released certain games like Mario64 and Wave Race got a re-release with rumble support.
Can you pay with a Visa card in hard offs?
Yeah they take every major credit card.
does it play mega cd games too only or just mega drive carts?
Yes it plays both MD carts and MCD disks.
That's a big junk section!😊
So, it's a boombox/CD player that also plays Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games and Sega/Mega CD games as well? Wow, talk about a unicorn!
Yeah, has composite out and everything crazy stuff
