Imagine you didn’t watch the video and you just listened to the audio track of this song….you probably would have just envisioned in your head a 3 or 4 person band playing it, you never would have guessed it’s just 1 guy playing it, that’s where the magic is. Seeing is believing

Steve is one of a very few people who could even attempt to play a 3 headed guitar. Truly amazing.
A fun fact…..back in the 1970’s I was in a band called HYDRA. It was an amazing 5 years on the road playing in hundreds of places. We never got to record, but so many memories.

Steve Vai is one of the few men in the world who is considered a GOD of the guitar and it is not for less, the way of playing is inhuman, it is beyond comprehension. The Hydra is not a musical instrument, it is rather a machine that only he is worthy of playing, just like Thor's fucking hammer only he is worth touching, so is Steve Vai's Hydra.
