Such a stunning winter hike! The snow-covered landscape around Loch and Mills Lake is absolutely beautiful. Great video! I like it!! Nice haiking trail! 🥰
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. This hike is one of the very few trails that are usually packed down within a few days after a winter storm. Thanks to all the snowshoers. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
What a gorgeous day, you and Dave are hiking machines! I know what you mean about that dreaded 0.4 miles and 200 vertical feet :-). Thanks for showing us the outstanding scenery and views.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Bear Lake Corridor is really the only place anyone can spike hike in winter. (Thanks to all the snowshoers who hit the trails after a winter storm) Anything higher than the Loch just gets blown over with snow due to the high winds this time of year. Hiking to Sky Pond in those conditions are beyond my comfort zone. I know you have. I'm so impressed. Thanks for watching.
A winter wonderland. It sure was nice that most of the trail was packed down. Although, you did get to do a bit of post holing. With that wind, I'll bet it was chilly at times. Thanks for sharin and have a very Merry Christmas!
You're so welcome. I'm happy you enjoyed the snow hike. Winter winds are wicked in Colorado, as you know. It will cut right through you and make you feel like you're in a boxing ring at times. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Merry Christmas!!! Next Friday will be our Holiday Hike.
Thank you so much. There aren't many lake trails to chose from once winter conditions arrive, but the Bear Lake Corridor is one place where the trails are usually packed down soon after a snow storm. (Lots of snowshoers like the fresh powder) I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
Yes, almost all the falls freeze up pretty quick. West Creek Falls keeps flowing much longer. It faces south with direct sunlight. Hint, Hint-next Friday. Thanks so much for watching.
Just another hike to include in the spring! Thanks so much you two, beautiful scenery.
You are so welcome! Thanks so much and thanks for watching.

I was already thinking I hate that last steep to bear lake parking then you put the bonus clip in there! IYKYK
It's the last Kick in the A$$! LOL!!!!! Thanks for watching.
Great video and music. Winter time in RMNP can be so beautiful and peaceful. Plan to hit it more often now the crowd has left :)

@TrekkingTheRockies 🙂👍❄️
Alberta Falls remarkable in a winter situation; not rushing June runoff!
