I used the free version for roughly 6 months and was hooked on Davinci Resolve 18. I just had to step up my level to the Pro version and have even helped edit 2 multi award winning documentaries about my life living with MSA. Great video and love the magic mask tool.

I mean, I think the fact that it is just a one time payment is one of the best features. I love to support companies that don't try to rope you into subscriptions. Besides that...magic mask

i purchased Studio about a year ago - the voice isolation was included in the free (slight snafu on BM's part?) version momentarily and I liked it so it was time to give back to BM for this great software. So Magic Mask and Voice Isolation are my two main reasons to have Studio and now of course I love these Studio videos 😁
Oh and I also got the deal with the free Speed Editor so it was a no-brainer. Thanks for the great videos.

4:43 yes it is.. I used the audio transcribe option in a recent project. I needed a small part of the song rap god by eminem, but accidently transcribed the entire song, it did it flawlessly, even the fast part, davinci is insane..
By the way, how do you get transcribed audio or subtitles to actual text that you can edit without typing it out word for word? Am I just dumb, I can't figure it out or find it online..
Also, very nice video! Thanks for the tips

I started on premiere and got to love it until I hated it (regular glitchy exports) tried FCP and davinci, was fond of FCP but left when I discovered you couldn’t duck audio so ended up on DVR, it was a bit of a slog at first but ended up getting the speed editor (best way imo to obtain studio) and things just started picking up and all I can say is Iv never since looked or considered revisiting the others. The company have been amazing in terms of updates and Iv had little to no real issues with it. Such a superb bit of software 🤟

I have variety of footage which have different aspect ratio from old tape like VHS,DVCAM,Mini DV,HDV and also FHD footage. when we import these footage then by default all clips have same aspect ratio of sqare 1:1 but i want original aspect ratio. In other software like premiere pro when we import clips then it maintain original aspect ratio of original clips but here all the clips have 1:1 aspect ratio. Here from clip attribute we can change aspect ratio but having 200 to 800 clips in a project , it is not possible to do . Is any setting or any solution to solve this in davinci resolve.

@@Truck_Kun_Driver You can do this in resolve, no need for paid third party apps. You simply transcribe your timeline, then when the script pops up, hit the ellipses in the top right corner and hit 'remove silence', highlight the script, and then hit the 'append' button in the bottom right of the transcription window, and it will place your clips on the timeline minus the silence.

its exhausting too watch this video. Adding clips and memes every 10 seconds is not particular cool anymore. It feels like watching a video made by a boomer who is giggling all the time while watching its own content and findig himself REAL funny. its so distracting that i couldn't focus on the real interesting part which was the reason why i clicked on the thumbnail in the first place. i had to leave after 2 minutes.
