Sekke had me dying hard i can’t believe he’s really the same rank as yuno and langris. This has to be canon from tabata himself. I hope sekke eventually lives up to his rank. Hopefully he becomes a serious character while still keeping his joke side. Tabata really knows how to give alot of characters shine and importance. I can see tabata starting to set up sekkes character. He’s gonna be serious and hilarious. 🤣🍀🔥

Yeah I’m hoping that too. I like Sekke’s magic but his overconfidence can get annoying sometimes. Guess you can say he showed some character development by not being overconfident in this scenario.
Hopefully he becomes the Sakura of Black Clover but in a way thats actually comedic instead of trying to be serious. Like he does actually power up to become quite the proficient magic knight but because inevitably all the main cast are going to be janked into OPness he still looks like an embarrassment stood next to them. That way all his brash talk can technically be true among everyone else but he still has that comedic factor of being out of his depth around certain characters resulting in him bumbling about and managing to fall upwards
I guess Yuno has a new rival to become wizard king😂

Sekke's primary goal since he's been introduced is not die and so far he's done a good job. He's:
Taken a direct hit from Asta
Survived Vetto's beach invasion
Survived interrupting Yami's bathroom break
Supported Langris and
Managed to, sorta, protect the king during the elf invasion
Honestly his dumb luck is the main reason why he isn't dead yet. I wonder if there will be a point where he'll actually do something amazing and end up becoming the Green Mantis Captain.

Even with his ego, his magic aspect could be overpowered as hell. Like imagine him being able to instead of creating a light projection of himself thats effectively just a hologram, he could funnel all his narcissism into a light projection that is as physically great and powerful as he sees himself to be, meaning the greater his narcissism grows, the more powerful his magical attacks and defence become

I'm not upset at the fact that Asta and others didn't get promoted because unlike most of the people that commented, I actually watched the episode and understood why they didn't get promoted. What I'm upset about is the fact that literally not one character even mentions any of them. No thought bubbles, no flashbacks, not one word was said about them.
They did mention that there are many Knights who need a promotion but cannot due to issues.
