I don't think they really tried for a Frozen Shin-Godzilla, I could be wrong, but many of the variants they tried to get made earlier on, like an atomic blast Godzilla 2014 and even a Marvel Godzilla were shot down by Toho. Could be the same for Frozen Shin Godzilla.

Same same same, those were some GOOOOOOOOD times for toys. Hand painted, mostly top tier, always creative and wild ideas and designs. Especially from TM. They were the toppest of the top tier! As for Titan Tech Mechagodzilla… just go nuts with it. Make it an entire shifting and moving cheese wheel of TRANSFORMATION CINEMA! And Kong just eats the weed.

It'd be quite the undertaking, I don't think Broadway would have us lol And I still need to be nab me a Shin2.0 I'm ashamed It's taken me so long to get the newer Toho Series figures from PM. Especially when they look as good as they do.
I’d also love to see more of these. Would be insane to pass up a armored skullcrawler but Playmates would become a legend that people would sing of for generations if we got an tech titan Doug. Gigan is already pre silly armored.
I think (next to the standard 6 inch figures) this is a good area for Playmates to really mess around with new Titans In. Like ya said Skullcrawlers, hell yes to DOUG, Mechagodzilla, Ghidorah, maybe even Mutos. It would only up their market and success with the line, I feel. Eventually they can just move the gimmick on to classic designs as well! I mean, why not?!
@@ShinRobjira Toho is pretty heavy handed with Godzilla licensing so all depends on how long Playmates has the rights. No toy company in the USA has kept the rights to the monsterverse beyond a single film.
Nah, he doesn't have a port anywhere In his mouth. That said, ya MIGHT be able to finagle the breath piece into his mouth and get it to stay if ya close his mouth on it, but clearly, It wont stay In place or anything like that.

I did it! I finally got both Godzilla and Kong! Godzilla got's a paint scuff on his arm blade unfortunately, so I might try to find another later. I got them both kitted out. I used the removable skin from various versions of the smaller figures to try to partially cover up the holes from the deployed cybernetics and got Godzilla holding the comms tower from the smaller figure. Kong has a movie stone axe and shackle (from NECA Kong. Alas, can't get shackles to fit on wrists or ankles without risking breakage.) dangling from each of the leg panels and a third stone axe (since Playmates did a bazillion repaints of Kong) in Kong's free hand as a smaller "hatchet" alternative to the big axe on his back (think it works in universe since the monsters are still growing). Thanks for inspiring my long hunt. Painful and frustrating, but finally rewarding. Now to find Propeller and chain Kong (alternate weapon) and the old Trendmasters Armor-Up Kaiju.
To be honest, I would rather have the original Armored Godzilla figure than a Transformers-like Godzilla, but they still look awesome, it's just, the Armored Mega Godzilla looked so much good and more interesting.
With how GvK went... I wouldn't be too surprised if that ended up happening. Can only imagine what the military or even Monarch are doing with Mechagodzilla's remains at this point! Unless... Apex picked him back up. Well. Whatever is left of them lol
I really like Godzilla, the I think the blue looks better than the red that the Beta Mega Godzilla had. as for Kong, while I've called him slanderous things in the past like "Cringe Kong" I have to say he has really warmed up to me. I still don't really like how he looks, but I probably can't handle his radicalness.
