Aaron, has been abused, turned to substances, and his life is clearly out of control.. It is terribly sad. I hope someday he finds the strength and courage to seek the help that he needs..
I’ve heard and read articles about him recently where he’s trying to get clean, trying to face his demons. I don’t know when this exactly was filmed, but he is clearly struggling with something deeper then just “Lou Pearlman gave me/us a career, how dare you speak badly of him!”
@@irethena Not necessarily. They would have to double the ticket prices to make the same amount of money, and that might have been too much for parents of their fans (who were paying for their kid's fandom).
Am I the only one who feels bad for Alan Gross, the only childhood friend Lou Pearlman had? Alan's dream of working with blimps and airships was fully stolen by Lou, even though in all his childhood, Alan was the only kid who accepted Pearlman for who he was as a child. RIP Alan Gross
Ever since i saw this documentary for the first time and i saw Aaron Carter in that state, i was getting worried and i had the bad feeling that something would happen, and it tragically happened. RIP Aaron Carter 🖤🙏
Lroy Johnson I don’t think he’s on drugs but he’s definitely dealing with a lot of demons. He needs go somewhere to get his head straight with no social media.

The way that Aaron Carter still talks like someone in their young teens and still defends Lou is incredibly sad, and clearly indicative of the grooming and manipulation that he underwent :(
Yeah because the way he got so mad and defensive over that tanning bed thing. I don't know what did or didn't happen but in my opinion, he feels shame about something.
@@daniellealexandra237 lou was basically his "father" figure. aaron was much closer to lou than the others because he was so young when he was working under him and lou is a CREEP who definitely made him do questionable things.. it seems aaron himself didnt come to terms or accept the abuse he endured. may aaron rest in peace.
@@cyanide_lollipop3264 his mom seems like the type that was super cool, understanding, supportive, loving, AVAILABLE, thoughtful, protective and just fun, like she would tell him to invite friends over for an impromptu pool party or barbeque and that all his friends called her mom too, it's clear that she loves her son and is incredibly proud of all he's done and the man he's become...
Aaron saying his parents searched the tanning room in Pearlmans home for cameras is such a bizarre statement. As a parent, if I felt the need to do that it means I have already seen red flags. My child wouldn’t be there.
Yeah, that was such an obvious lie. If he was an actor, I'd say that that was what he was going for, to make the audience think he was lying. And that says so much. It made me feel very sorry for him.
I'm so naive. It wasn't until I saw this that I realized why Aaron Carter is so screwed up. Poor guy. You always think its the drugs that make people so messed up but its actually the things that have happened to them (they are just self-medicating with the drugs) that really screwed them up. Lou may have stoled a lot of peoples' money but he stole Aarons life.
You have to shift your perspective a bit. Instead of thinking "The drugs messed these people up." look at it from the opposite side. They were messed up and took drugs to dull their pain. Drugs can be and often are a symptom of a deeper issue, not the cause of it.
Finally watched this documentary and I remember watching Making The Band. One singer chose to leave to return to medical school because his dad read the contract and advised his son, "This man will own you for 10 years, your songs, everything." I remember wondering ""What?" Now I see what he meant.
That guy always seemed like a lil b for his behavior on the show, and he seemed to still be the Nick or Justin of that group! But it's a good thing he went back to med school for sure! May he be living a far less F-ed over life than the rest of them!
I always remembered that part, even his name. I think it was his brother who read the contract. I remember thinking well now, we'll never hear more from him now... good for him though.
My heart breaks for Aaron. His mannerisms are indicative of somebody that was very seriously groomed from a very young age and shielded from ever needing to think for himself. His manner of speaking, his phrasing, everything he says is very clearly evasive. I have hoped for a long time now that Aaron is able to break free from this hold and truly find himself before his time here is up, and I'll continue to hope so. 🙏🏼💙💫
I think we need to be wary of reading into somebody's mannerisms too much and seeing what we already believe to be true. I don't think there's such a thing as the mannerisms of somebody who's been groomed. Though his body language does seem off to me, it could be for any number of reasons which may not at all be related to Lou Pearlman. If he was the one to do something wrong, that would be one thing but it just makes me uncomfortable that this whole comment section is reading so much into his behaviour, even though we all know that he's likely a victim.
The fact that the majority of our society has a problematic attitude towards addiction and addicts themselves- of which is largely based off of misconceptions and ignorance- is and will continue to be what has the largest influence on why both the cycle of and stigma towards addiction continue. Narcissistic behavior is disgusting and needs addressing on both an individual level and a societal level, but due to the fact that it doesn't have such an extreme effect on the chemical makeup of the brain it can be addressed much easier and the habits that come as a result can be broken. Narcissistic behavior, while learned, can be changed. While it's one of many words that have started to get thrown around a lot and in many cases might not always be true, it is a negative character trait on a social level when looking at true cases. Addiction isn't an inherently negative trait, it's a difficult one. Addiction, being an oddity within one's chemical make up of their brain, should not be used to negatively classify someone. Call him a narcissist if you please, although I don't know that I'd agree just because I haven't followed him closely enough in recent years to confidently say one way or the other, but calling him an "addict narcissist" in a way meant to be a jab at who he is as a person is not it.
This Lance Bass guy comes across as a really intelligent & compassionate human being, Very encouraging in such a tale about greed, manipulation and need for power
I'd known that *NSYNC were ripped off by a manager before but I'd never realized how extensive the greed really was - thank you Lance for bringing this to us
I had a small background understanding that they sued him and he went to jail for tax/money stuff but damn I didn't know the rabbit hole went that deep.. Jesus no wonder the Carters turned to drugs between divorce/abuse and money issues with Lou and he probably even abused them himself 😔
Dude, I don't know if they even should have included Aaron Carter in this. He's obviously messed up. And if Lou was a pedophile, Aaron would have been the only child he actually could have gotten his hands on. Something in my gut just tells me that he got it the worst. He didn't have band mates like everyone else...that man did something to that boy.
He definitely harmed Aaron Carter, and manipulated him. His biggest defender despite no rationale, and the most damaged of all the interviewees. It’s sad that Aaron passed. He was so vulnerable and I believe Lou took advantage of that and it’s prob the reason why Aaron got so messed up. It’s all horrible.
We know for a fact that he groomed Nick Carter. As for Aaron, the clues seem clear as day that Aaron had repressed memories of harm. And it's possible that Aaron gaslit himself into believing Lou was helping him and his career. Which he probably was, because Lou loved money. And he could only screw over hus artists, if they generated inc9me. But we have no actual evidence of Lou doing anything harmful to Aaron. Because whatever harmful things Lou might've done to Aaron, is only truly known between them. And Aaron only ever had great things and wonderful experiences to share about Lou. So if anything bad did happen, Aaron took it to the grave. It's possible that had Aaron lived longer, and gone through intensive therapy, maybe in his 40s, he might've had full clarity, and would've been able to publicly share his truth. But the problem is, Aaron was in denial. And the drugs and alcohol kept him in his own delusion that nothing bad ever happened. But you gotta ask yourself. Because nobody uses drugs and alcohol to go completely numb, if nothing bad ever happened to them.
@@lessismore8533 he also grew up in a chaotic household, surrounded by drug abuse. Add that to skyrocketing to fame, and again being surrounded by alcohol and drugs, plus mental illness… that family has suffered a lot (2 other Carter siblings died the same way). He probably saw Lou as a stable father figure and couldnt process the facts.
Best TH-cam original doc I have ever watched.....Lance Bass needs to make a whole career out of making docs and telling stories! He is phenomenal at it!💖
I read the Vanity Article that was written 15 years ago I think that exposed Lou Pearlman's homosexuality/pedophilia. The article stated that something very bad happened between Lou and Nick from the Backstreet Boys which is Aaron's older brother. Their mother also confirmed it and stated that Nick never wanted be alone with Lou. It basically insinuated that Nick was molested. I think Aaron is in extreme denial and that's why he's so defensive of Lou. He was chosen as a solo artist by Lou and definitely groomed by him around the age of 9. It's sad :( before I actually watched this documentary I saw a preview of Aaron and I thought for sure he was not only going to confirm Lou's pedophilia but also reveal slot of things. I was quite shocked that it was the complete opposite
RIP Aaron. Gone far too soon and I say this as someone who hasn't cared about boy bands since I was 11. It makes sense why boy bands died quickly when these producers like Lou are no different to predatory politicians and bankers.
lapukas It’s the same reason why people get lawyers off of television. How many regular, average people know to do that. Remember only 30 percent of people in the US have gone to college - when you have someone who is wealthy (and we are taught to believe wealthier people are smarter) and manipulate you, most people wouldn’t know any better.
mkbits agreed. Chris did say in the documentary that Lou was like a father to most of them so I think he preyed on boys from broken homes that would just be happy with being famous
they all said he was a charmer. He was a master manipulator. Scary world we live in...Im sure they were all eager to get "rich and famous" on their children's behalf or should I say "huge" like pearlman said lol
These documentaries should be shown in schools as cautionary tales. Even well educated people get conned b/c of greed. This is why "Social Skills and Common Sense Studies" should be a mandatory class throughout school and well into college. Sadly this explains why most performers are drug abusers. Excellent, informative doc. by Lance.
Aaron Carter is literally so mentally stressed, that I don't know how to personally feel. Based off of how he is acting now on platforms such as IG and Twitter, I'm wondering how much Lou influenced his mental state. Like he's a child, walking in an adults body, defending his abuser because that's all he knows. Stockholm Syndrome at its best.
Aaron's crazy because he still think's he's that kid that sold 10 million records and is famous, for whatever reason like most younger children who end up famous, they are usually a little strange as adults. Probably the fact they miss their entire childhood in some cases.
Rewatching this post Aaron's passing, I'm still even more concerned that he held something in that he never shared. He was the youngest of all the people around Lou, he was definitely abused
The abuse likely went into his late teens. A lot of times, older kids start feeling like it was a mutual relationship, or even the instigator of the relationship. Like Stockholm syndrome. No way he wasn't molested.
Nick didn’t want Ac to sign under lou and he told his mom why. His mom instead of believing her son accused Nick of being jealous of his younger brother! She brainwashed Aaron making him believe her lies. Aaron, Nick and the siblings suffered so much bc of their toxic parents. Tragic!
Forget Lou Pearlman, this docu should've been called... "Has Anyone Checked on Aaron Carter?" This poor kid is straight HollyWeird it's too sad to watch
Aaron Carter is in desperate need of intense psychiatric care. A long stay in a psychiatric hospital with electroshock therapy and medication and if possible undergo surgery to remove his hiatal hernia.
I was working at Wal-Mart during the height of these guys popularity and their faces were on EVERYTHING. And I remember thinking these guys have it made not realizing at the time they were making no more than I was at the time
I’m really glad that Ashley Parker Angel of O-Town did this documentary, because these story’s needed to be told from the band members and their families themselves.
“Lance, you know what I wish the Easter bunny would leave in my basket... you” Someone sent that card 20 years ago and now found out that Lance Bass’s mom has it
I very much felt like Aaron’s defensiveness was him hiding something. It almost felt like he was trying to defend him so it doesn’t have to come to terms with something that may have happened between them. He really seems troubled.
Ohhhh hes had substance abuse and supposedly gotten clean but hes still messed up. He needs help. I dont know with what but hes been off for a while. Hes got major issues.
I feel like poor Aaron was abused by Lou and repressed the memories. The way he is adamant about there not being cameras in the tanning salon because he was in there naked as a child, just showed how much cognitive dissonance he was dealing with.
No offense to how Aaron Carter felt about Lou Pearlman and Rest In Peace Aaron, but Aaron was wrong about Lou Pearlman. Lou Pearlman was a pig, a thief, a scammer and a liar and Aaron was denial and didn’t want to believe the real truth about Lou Pearlman. What Lou Pearlman did to Nikki DeLoach when she was in her Girl Group Innosense was disgusting and wrong.
I agree, but it's common for people to turn to drugs as a means of escape from any type of psychological trauma (also bad eating habits, promiscuity, alcohol abuse, acts of violence, etc.).
Watching this after Aaron has passed away brings a new meaning of sadness to those interviews, I don't know what happened to him beyond not being protected by his family but I hope he can find peace now
@@skittlessunshine5518 I read this comment before I watched the video and kind of mentally scoffed, like "this person is blowing it out of proportion". But no, you did not exaggerate. He was clearly very traumatized, and that's so very sad to see...

agree with you! you can see he really liked and enjoyed spending time with Lou. He was a true friend to him, but Lou was using him for his own intention's.
I’m gonna be off subject, but for Allan. His dream of seeing Blimps and then turning into a career? It’s a beautiful story. I felt that split from Lou blimp business was a miracle in disguise. He literally see lou’s corruption and greed in the beginning.
I think Lou really did a number on Aaron. Everyone is saying Lou did all these things and Aaron is still sticking up for him. I really hope Aaron gets the help he needs.
Thank you Lance for producing this. I know it was a painful process. I hope everyone involved has found peace. Humans are so complex! I would like to add that you have to practice listening to your little voice because your mind will try to talk you out of listening. It will say stuff like what if you're wrong ? What if you make a fool of yourself? You have to learn to trust it because it will never steer you wrong. We have to trust it without question because our life could depend on it.
@@lorimiller4301 yes!!! And I feel that statement applies to life in general and all the things that throws at us. When he says his take on if Lou was a pedophile, that pause before he says “that is not true” sounds like for a second he wondered if he should answer differently. Then he goes into the diamond push up thing and that’s just, those have nothing to do with each other. That was a horrible example and anyone can be a predator, even if they teach you how to do better push ups even though they themselves don’t look like they ever did a day of exercise in their life.
I remember following the *NSYNC vs Lou case when it was happening, but I (a teen in 1998) didn't fully comprehend how bad it was or how deep it really went until I watched this doc. Thank you to Lance, Alan Gross, all the other members of multiple musical groups, parents, ponzi scheme victims and everyone who took the time to share their stories. It was really upsetting to see the difference in reactions from the older guys (Lance, AJ, JC, Chris) compared to Aaron Carter who was so much younger when his fame took off and the raw emotion when he was defending Lou. I'm so happy that *NSYNC have been coming back in the media since the VMAs this year and I can't wait to hear their new song in just a few days!
*where you are now. Don't judge people you don't know what they've been through. Everyone has flaws and struggles. Some need a little more help than others.
Something is definitely wrong with Aaron Carter. The way he is reacting to what the others are saying about Lou is not in a collected, or calm manner at all. It’s in a denying, angry, defensive way. He’s been abused. Lou abused him.
I'm sure most of us have heard about Aaron. I wish so much I could have given him a hug. Rest in peace, sweet, beautiful boy. Another flower for God's bright garden.
Don't laugh...but Jm Gaffigan be a real creep. He would be perfect. I miss Philip Seymour Hoffman desperately. That is for sure. That was so tragic. But I do think Gaffigan would do it proud. He's just weird enough that he would make the guy slimy.
Has anyone ever noticed that the only time people get investigated is when money is involved? All the children who are abused by Hollywood, nobody seems to care about. But let some people lose money and now he’s in trouble.
ikr, it took decades for r Kelly to be cancelled even though he had a sex tape of him with a 14yo he still made charts and his songs were sung at churches so yea, many ppl worship money
It's a sad situation but I think thats always going to be the case. Eveyone wants their cut of the cash when people would rather ignore the abuse of kids as it's a uncomfortable topic. Prosecutors can get back money but they can't undo the abuse so people feel defeated
I was in high school for the boy band craze. I took lots of scrutiny and harassment for being a fan during it. The next generations will never know the struggle of walking into a record store in 1998-2002 to buy a NSYNC/ Backstreet Boys albums as a male teenager. Even to this day I catch jokes about me being a fan of both and to be honest I can care less because they are two of the most talented groups in history with tons of great songs. Be proud of what you like nobody want anybody says! Thank you Lance Bass for putting this documentary together
Agreed! People will never let teenage girls a break for the things they like, and both bands worked really hard. They deserved recognition beyond just being teen heartthrobs, they were legitimately successful
while I will never know what it felt like to have a male teenager's struggle, I do know what it's like to be an African American female who liked both groups, lol...I didn't care what anyone said...this was around the time I was getting flack for liking Buffy the Vampire Slayer...
I was in high school for it too and I really liked N*Sync, BSB, O-Town, 98degrees etc. I was a closeted lesbian tho so I kind of always was embarrassed for liking them. It was really strange because I’m a girl so I’m “allowed” to like them but it was embarrassing for me personally…..I was never embarrassed to buy the alanis morrissette album tho. It’s gotta be some kind of weird psychology.
What I find both interesting and incredibly ironic is that while Aaron Carter was vehemently defending Lou Pearlman, he too, filed a lawsuit against Lou and Transcontinental for cheating him over hundreds of thousands of dollars and racketeering in 2002. Edit: RIP Aaron
Aaron is, without question, bipolar. It was quite frankly deeply and morally irresponsible for the filmmakers to even include him in the documentary to begin with.
yeah but he has a point in a way that without Lou .. non of them would of had the career an success they had ..Lou financed them you know how hard it is to get in the entertainment industry ? how much money you need to open doors ? this was a time before social media an all these singing shows .. an Aaron always tells it how it is .
Never ever thought would I respect boy bands and what they do, but now I genuinely feel bad learning how much hard work it is and only to get slapped in the face, no one deserves that in this world.
Thank you for making this documentary, Lance. I truly had no idea just how deep this went since I was only a kid in the 90s. I hope that this project was healing for everyone involved.
Did anyone else notice the part where someone said none of those boys had strong father figures in their lives? That seems too convenient to be accidental.
That's just how narcissistic and psicopathic personalities choose their victims. They learn peoples stories and give them everything they want (at first) while they take advantage of them.
That's actually the part that I remembered the most from when I 1st saw this documentary. It's so obvious that I cannot imagine that it's accidental. I however question (back then and still now) why it isn't explored further.
He had legitimately generated so much revenue through his boy bands that he didn’t need to continue ripping off so many people. That’s the craziest part. It’s like he was addicted to the con.
Yes i agree..another thing thats crazy is i bought stock at 14 for tcby yogurt...he even could of just did that and been wealthy....frozen yogurt then became huge and still is... lou knew how to start a business but nothing after it....its like he was also addicted to the excitement of suggestion and then seeing it take off and after that was bored with it
Greed is a scary thing. Lou could’ve taken 25% of everything and still been even more wealthy than he already was. How much money does one person need?
Yes greed is a terrible thing. This happens more than we know. The list keeps getting longer everyday. Bernie Madoff, Jeffrey Epstein, Samuel Bankman-Fried and Lou Pearlman are the ones who got caught so far.
Poor Alan, all he wanted was a friend, and to live out his dream to fly in an aircraft, and watch the blimps. He seems so sweet, it breaks my heart. the shot of him looking out the window, and talking about his best days were spending time outside the airport and talking to people with his best friend.
*Aaron:* I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for Lou. In jail? *Me:* no, you'd have a normal life, be normal kid, and not an addict. Edit: and now he's dead. RIP Aaron Carter, November 5, 2022
No he wouldn't he came from and abusive family. So he probably would still be in the same state. ALL of the siblings have issues from their upbringing sadly.
You don’t know that at all- you have no idea, just as I have no clue, where his life would have ended up. Perhaps he would have had a normal, nice quiet life. And perhaps he could have ended up in a motel room with a needle stuck in his arm. We have no way of telling where he would be.
They have a comfortable life now. The boy bands he made, would have never existed without him. As it said at the end, BSB still tours so I bet they live more than comfortably. "NSYNC won their case and had more success afterwards. They all still have plenty.
@@HolyTbox : There was a case to be won, which says there was a case against Lou. On the other hand, Lou paid for EVERYthing until they started succeeding. Gave them a house, etc. Yeah, he was greedy, but these kids didn't worry about anything except singing and dancing.
Ok but, that was all out and discussed when they released the song... the whole album actually. They talked about the album title, some songs on it, the album cover and video imagery as representation of their battle and subsequent release from the dealings woth Lou and the label. I thought that was common knowledge, I guess I was wrong.

I remember as a 17 year I worked old as a babysitter for two months in the summer. I could have been partying, relaxing on the beach or whatever else. But I decided to earn some money and later go on a trip to Paris with my friends. After those two months, I was told that unfortunately, I couldn’t be paid due to the family’s financial problems. One of the most humiliating moments of my life. Nobody spoke for me: not my parents, not my older brother who was there with me when I was told that). And I was too shy to speak for myself. Biggest slap in my face ever. I feel the boys’ pain and helplessness when they saw those checks. Three years of hard work every day of the week. For $10,000.
You should guilt your parents over this lack of support to force your employer to pay you even if you had to wait a few months. The family probably never even planned to pay you. Hint: get paid weekly…. Dont let them get that far ahead of you. Such creeps to take advantage of a kid!!
Sorry you got ripped off like that. Similar thing happened to me. A "friend" of my mom's was in a bind. When people say 'I've made you/i found you in the gutter/you'd be nothing without me', it makes me livid. Top-tier manipulation. One can put millions into something/someone and there'd still be nothing if there's no talent, hard work and a lot of luck. So yeah, one can help and finance, but ultimately talented people do most of the work. They should be paid for. It also reminds me of manipulative parents, who'd try to guilt trip their kids by saying they have provided food and shelter for them, so they should be eternally grateful.
This brought me back.. the days of having every inch of my wall covered with NYSNC posters, buying magazines because they were on the cover, listening to their music to get through whatever situation was going on in my life. Goodness, some days I really wanna go back to that!! And I'm super angry at what Lou did to all of them.. they didn't deserve ANY of that.
Aaron Carter sounds like a kid that's been abused and is deeply ashamed and trying to deny it happened like that will make the pain go away.

Aaron saying his parents searched the tanning room in Pearlmans home for cameras is such a bizarre statement. As a parent, if I felt the need to do that it means I have already seen red flags. My child wouldn’t be there.

Stage parents make MANY compromises- Do you want a “Star” or a “safe” kid? It’s not obvious to some which is better.
I new him personally and his parents where very controlling
I'm so naive. It wasn't until I saw this that I realized why Aaron Carter is so screwed up. Poor guy. You always think its the drugs that make people so messed up but its actually the things that have happened to them (they are just self-medicating with the drugs) that really screwed them up. Lou may have stoled a lot of peoples' money but he stole Aarons life.
yes, the drugs are just a coping mechanism at that point
You have to shift your perspective a bit. Instead of thinking "The drugs messed these people up." look at it from the opposite side. They were messed up and took drugs to dull their pain. Drugs can be and often are a symptom of a deeper issue, not the cause of it.

wow wtf
Still an addict narcissist...

American Greed did a story behind the owner a few years ago
b1g_ luke BSB’s black and blue album was named after the battle they went through with lou
LAdwv7495 nick was also a minor when he met Lou. Not sure if nick was too old got him. Aaron was under 10 after all.
I think including Aaron helped to truly showcase the damage Lou did
What Lou did was all mentally. He had a way that can't be described.
It’s crazy to think how AC saw himself in Lou Pearlman
Wow Aaron Carter's eyes say it all, and he looks like he's still using.
Aaron is the reason Aaron got so messed up. Mostly because he just didn’t have the talent the rest did.
or soul mates?

Aaron saying that Lou taught him how to do pushups, dude was severely overweight why is he teaching anybody how to exercise. It sounds sus
"I minored in Physical Therapy." ...Didja now?
He did them on top of him while Aaron was face down in the bed.
Sus indeed
Also... it clearly didn't take. ok I'll shut up now. LOL
RIP Aaron. Gone far too soon and I say this as someone who hasn't cared about boy bands since I was 11. It makes sense why boy bands died quickly when these producers like Lou are no different to predatory politicians and bankers.

I’m just stunned that not a single parent between both groups didn’t think to have an outside lawyer look at the contracts earlier on.
lapukas I would think maybe he was looking for kids with parents who wouldn’t check it out. Predators are like that.
lapukas It’s the same reason why people get lawyers off of television.
I can't help but feel like there were parents who did and their children were passed over.
they all said he was a charmer.
Excellent, informative doc. by Lance.
Greed, wanting to be famous and drug abuse are three separate paths that sometimes coexist, but I get your drift.

Stavroula Kapetan Social skills, ok, but common sense cannot be taught. Either you have it, or you don’t.
I agree. This should be shown to teens. I already told my kids about the fuckery that happens in Hollywood.
DANIxDANGER Exactly. His behavior has been scary.
That's because all he's known since he was 10 was the game and all the negativity that came with it.
Aaron's crazy because he still think's he's that kid that sold 10 million records and is famous, for whatever reason like most younger children who end up famous, they are usually a little strange as adults. Probably the fact they miss their entire childhood in some cases.
He's Out of money with No work skills, Turned to drugs to cope. and Gay to boot.
So true. He was probabily molested... We as people should be less judgemental and try to see the biger picture.

Aaron Carter DEFINITELY had an experience with Lou. You can tell by his reaction.

HMMMM....the diamond thing....Was that a sneaky way of saying Illuminati involvement (which they say also involves Hollywood’s pedophiles?)

Yup poor Aaron is suppressing a lot by the way he talks and reacts about lou poor guy!!

Something is definitely wrong with Aaron Carter. The way he is reacting to what the others are saying about Lou is not in a collected, or calm manner at all. It’s in a denying, angry, defensive way. He’s been abused. Lou abused him.
He's definitely abusing hard drugs, it's all over his face.

Honestly as a recent fan of NSYNC for almost 6 years, it's refreshing to still see male fans because these groups appealed to everyone
while I will never know what it felt like to have a male teenager's struggle, I do know what it's like to be an African American female who liked both groups, lol...I didn't care what anyone said...this was around the time I was getting flack for liking Buffy the Vampire Slayer...
Lou was a homosexual... and parents of this boys should warn them, He lived alone , no woman and was surrounded by 16-17-18 years boys all the time
What I find both interesting and incredibly ironic is that while Aaron Carter was vehemently defending Lou Pearlman, he too, filed a lawsuit against Lou and Transcontinental for cheating him over hundreds of thousands of dollars and racketeering in 2002.

!!!!!!
Sounds like a predator knew what kind of prey he was looking for. I'm sure loads of boys with stable fathers auditioned for him and sang well.
That must’ve been the #1 requirement to be chosen.
A father looking after his son was a dealbreaker for a psychotic, greedy, predator like Pearlman.
He had legitimately generated so much revenue through his boy bands that he didn’t need to continue ripping off so many people. That’s the craziest part. It’s like he was addicted to the con.
Yes i agree..another thing thats crazy is i bought stock at 14 for tcby yogurt...he even could of just did that and been wealthy....frozen yogurt then became huge and still is... lou knew how to start a business but nothing after it....its like he was also addicted to the excitement of suggestion and then seeing it take off and after that was bored with it
Maybe Lou's hidden money was discovered so Lou was broke

He is full of hate for the handsome, popular kids. He wanted them to have nothing.

Nah he's got victim written all over him. Maybe if he'd got a proper job.

That's exactly how he comes across too!! Must be some great parenting going on 💕
I remember as a 17 year I worked old as a babysitter for two months in the summer.
