Hi bro! I just bought and instilled the live 12 intro, but it seems that I don’t have access to the amplifiers. Do you know if they are only available for next versions? Great video btw 🫡
Hi. Yes Amps are in the suite version only so the most expensive one 😒 what you can do is to install Free Amplitube, or Guitar Rig 7 plugins. th-cam.com/video/qum1lqCEoNw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lTYED9CIibYaPK8b And one here th-cam.com/video/IWj6---8QP8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fcIkAn7zMPSyLiHW all the best Bro. Great to have another recording musician 🤘😎
Hi . you did a great job with this video. but I can't get the plugins to work. I mean the plugins open on the screen but I only get the normal bass sound. I can't get it to work and I don't know what to do. I'm starting to get frustrated I can't even get the plugins that come with the focusrite to work. I can't process any sound through any plugins just the natural sound of my bass. I hope you can help me Thanks
Hi. Sorry for the late response. Tell me more about your setup. Computer, interface, DAW. For what I think it has to be some kind of audio routing problem. The sound probably omitted the DAW somehow and all plugins and is going straight to the speakers. But let me know more and we’ll see
Hi. It's "Flame Signum" By Mayones. They had done a series with more classical shapes but under a name of "Flame" to distinguish from their regular "Mayones" line. It's around 20 years old but great! Wish I could play better :D
Did exactly everything you did and had it working. Now, a couple days later, Ableton is not picking up my guitar sound. My audio interface works because I can hear the video and my guitar. Any idea?
Something wrong with audio input in Ableton. You can hear the guitar probabkly with the "Direct Monitor" button switched on so you can hear the sound straight from the input to the speakers/headphones but Ableton isn't given the proper input. Or there's something wrong with the drivers.
@@Busiless is there a way to uninstall the asio drivers? i had asio4all installed and ive seen many posts saying thats not a good thing to have, so thats gone. but ive uninstalled almost everything that ive installed starting from when i got my focusrite.
Hmm. Won’t help much there. Try to look online and on Reddit. Sure there’s a way. I used to work on windows and just was able to choose a different focusrite drivers instead of uninstalling anything. But just try and experiment bro. Good luck there!
Hi if you record on a DAW you normally record only a raw signal. If you just switch the plugin off you’ll hear just a raw sound. You can swap presets plugins afterwards. Unless you did it some other way that you play through a standalone app and record it somehow there, then the signal may be already with the effects. Let me know how do you track it 🤘😎
Hi. I’m using Suite actually but went through all of these. Had intro when it had an 8 track limit 😉. Of course all of the tips from the video are working in all versions 🤘😎
Hi, just to make sure. It’s not a stock Ableton plugin so you have to install it separately (here’s how th-cam.com/video/qum1lqCEoNw/w-d-xo.html ). But if you had it installed, you need to check Ableton settings and in the plugins section, make sure the paths are the same as installed guitar rig 7. Let me know if that helps, or if you need more help 🤘😎 will get you sorted Bro!
@@Busiless yes, thank you. I have installed it and now it is working. Just one more question. When I choose on my PC ASIO driver type and Focusrite USB ASIO audio device, I can not choose the output audio, therefore it is impossible to hear the sound from my PC. Any advice on how can I hear the output audio in this case? Many thanks.
@javidmammadli5713 glad it worked. Well Focusrite USB Asio will work if you have a Focusrite usb interface then it should be possible to send audio to the interface and to speakers or headphones. But If you are using your pc sound card, then you have to have appropriate drivers installed and then the audio device will show in the output device menu. Note that without the interface you will probably have a bit of latency (delay) between what you play and what you hear. But just experiment and see if there are any devices visible in the menu with different drivers.
i am trying to record it on Ableton but the audio comes out all staticky , i was hoping there was a solution with this that i could probably get help with
It could be a lot of things unfortunately. But in general if you hear the sound of the guitar in the Ableton correctly but it records bad it can be something with audio settings (sample rate 44100 or 48000khz are usually ok) or bit rate in record settings (24 or 16 will be good to test) warping ( set it to off ) or in the worst case CPU or hard drive (least possible). But if you already hear bad audio before recording then it may be also hardware ( interface, cable, guitar) check and let me know 🤘😎 hope it helps
Yes sure, anything that will let the guitar signal into the computer. And even the less expensive ones will have a really good quality these days. Some digital guitar amps have a usb socket too which may work as an interface. 🤘😎
Hi. Yep that can happen, what you can do is that Ableton has a low latency mode in the settings, try that. Also when you're recording try turning off the monitoring and listen without effects from your audio interface's direct monitoring (if you have that option). Also try freezing other midi tracks, you can unfreeze them later.
Hi. I suppose you have the input set up incorrectly. Check the video again on 5:02. Possibly you have set up input 1/2 instead of just 2 and you’re getting stereo signal and guitar sound on the right channel. Let me know if that’s something different 🤘😎
Guitar Rig is not working on Ableton 12, when I press a key, nothing works on midi and thats what you're not addressing in any of these tutorials, its not working from default and I'm not even trying to use a guitar
Hi. I get there’s a bit of a problem here. Please explain me what exactly doesn’t work because I’m not sure what does MIDI have in common with guitar rig?
@@Busilessguitar wig is a vst with midi compatibility, I want to simply control Guitar Rig from my keyboard rarer than an actual keyboard and when I load it up and press keys to trigger a midi note nothing happens. When I open other vsts and load sounds and press a key the vst simply works. The midi response is being activated so I know it’s not a hardware issue, it’s isolated to guitar rig and maybe a preset I’m missing
@thetruthbytrey guitar rig is basically an effect plugin so it needs a source of sound to process. It won’t play or make guitar sounds unfortunately. The MIDI compatibility would probably mean that you can map some knobs on your MIDI keyboard to effects and control it that way. What you could do is to put a plugin that makes clean guitar sounds (or a sample, or any vst synth) and process it through guitar rig. Maybe even try to load guitar rig on an audio track and send a microphone in to see if it works (use headphones due to feedback though). Let me know if that makes sense 🤘😎
